Road to Barlovento interrupted by heavy rainfall
Civil Protection Director Miranda, Victor Lira, reported that the move by local 8 Barlovento Tacarigua-Mamporal section is blocked, and two people were injured due to heavy rains brought in on Monday.

Caracas .- A person injured and several homes affected was the result of heavy rainfall with winds that at 5:00 pm struck the state of Miranda, especially, Barlovento, Guarenas and Guatire.
According to the Civil Protection director Miranda, Victor Lira, the rains brought down at least 20 trees in Barlovento, specifically on the old road-Caucagua Tacarigua.
Lira reported that a tree fell on a public transport units to route Windward injuring one of the occupants of the bus. He said villagers reported the hailstones.
Also in the Santa Helena, five homes were affected after strong winds caused the release of their roofs. In this case no injuries were reported.
Guarenas and Guatire also suffered the ravages of the storm. In the City Square Guarenas, Trapichito sector, there were several fallen trees, while in Zone 2 of the Los Naranjos, the stormwater canal overflowed.

Rains affect Portuguese to 114 families so far this month
Guanare (AVN) .- 114 families have been affected by rains in Portugal so far this month and the biggest impact is on residential areas of municipalities Papelón, Guanarito, Sucre, Guanare and Unda.

Two miners were killed last night when they were trapped in a mine

Two miners were killed last night trapped in a mine in Portovelo, El Oro, local officials said. The incident occurred at 20:00 yesterday.
The deceased, whose identities are unknown, working in a mine Excelmoro company.
