Just to report that on the day Chile got hit by two quakes in the morning of June 1, 2010, Argentina had an earthquake in Mendoza, and before that, on the 31st of May, one in the hills of Cordoba, which I equate with the subduction reaching the pampas, as in the case of the Colombian quake that reached Los Llanos del Arauca, or the Arauca pampas.

I am not sure if these were rported by USGS, I try to find them, but had no success. However, I understand I have a problem converting time to UTC, and I may have missed them.
More of 7 of 10 Event:Cordoba Ranges Ar. by Nancy and Zetatalk:

"I am currently living in the geographical center of Argentna and I would ask about a possible security zone for the time shift. The zeta announced that a huge amount of water from the Atlantic barrier deep inside the South American continent, leading to secure the foothills of the Sierras de Cordoba and the mountains of the Andes, with the risk present in these latter by the creation of new mountains.
My intention is to move toward a mountain range between the two areas mentioned above. The hills of San Luis have good height (1600 meters above sea level) to avoid being swept by the tsunami and floods following the shift. Geologists have a volcanic origin of many millions of years because the Pacific plate that is subducting under the continent horizontalis at this latitude, resulting in the formation of some volcanic mountains in fault zones. There is evidence that man lived in caves in the area for 10000 years. The question is, volcanic phenomenon can repeat this in the area after a long time for the next shift?
The question arose when trying to figure out because there was volcanic formations in the middle of the continent and not just on the western edge. If raised millions of years ago was more than likely not to repeat the event. In Argentina, between 27 ° and 33 ° lat. S, the subduction zone with angle of 30 ° passes then a 5 ° tilt. Giving rise to volcanic front may reach a maximum of 700 km.
When I met these details I found that expulsion of lava could occur in fault zones due to rubbing of the plates for the predicted movement of the continent.
SOZT
We have already stated that the Cordoba range

would be a safe zone, safe from the tidal waves rushing in from the Atlantic. Hot springs appear in many places around the world, where the crust is thin, primarily due to stretching. Argentina, at Buenos Aires, will experience stretching as the top part of S America is pulled to the west while the tip of S America is nailed firmly at the Antarctic Plate. The bay at Buenos Aires will rip open, as we have stated. Thus inland, in San Luis, there are hot springs. This will not result in volcanic eruptions during the pole shift.
EOZT
Prior ZT: http://www.zetatalk.com/info/tinfx250.htm
Facing the place where new land will rise in the Atlantic Ocean, between the tips of South America and Africa, when the Antarctic plate tips to accommodate compression of plates in the Pacific during the hour of the shift, Argentina will find itself with a great deal of displaced water seeking its level. The flood tide will assault the coastline, under the immense pressure that a large volume of water can produce, not a wave but a body of water at a high level, and thus taking some time to disburse. This water will press inland, not stopped by foothills or vast plains that might otherwise stop or slow a flood tide. The volume of water seeking its level will also cause speed of flow, where the water presses through mountain passes or ravines, scouring clean any manmade structures there. Those who would survive in Argentina, along the coastline toward the tip of South America in particular, should assume the mountains along the coast a danger zone, and move inland to the highest mountain peaks they can reach in order to survive this time. The foothills of the Andes in Argentina, such as the Neuquen and Cordoba ranges, will affort a safe place to escape the shoshing of the Atlantic along the coast, but due to the compression of the Pacific with resulting mountain building will experience upheaval. In this regard, the Cordoba range is less likely to be affected, being further away from the Continental Divide. "

Near the 9:00 pm explosion was reported flames followed by half an hour later managed to control the fire of refining complex.
The local representative of the Federation of Petroleum Workers, Ivan Freites, said that the event caused losses greater.
"We know that previous fire was lightning hit the area and caused the fire that happened, well does not affect the operation of the plant," said Freites.
The event left no personal injury.

Refinery Explosion in Paraguaná
Posted at 12:45 PM on May 25, 2011 | The Carabobeño
An explosion in the oven I Catalytic Plant Paraguana Refining Center, reported Monday by union leaders in the oil sector, out for the second time so far this year to the station Cardon refinery distillation.
So far no known causes that caused the accident that left no injuries. Sources on the subject claim recorded lead-in written records-259 accidents from 2005 to date. Carlos Colina, a member of the Federation of Falcón State, confirmed the incident and warned that it freezes, almost entirely, one of the two refineries that comprise at most major refining center in Latin America. From the vicinity of the CRP the community watched the huge cloud of gray smoke that confirmed the version given by the oil workers.

Pavement sank deteriorating sewage pipe Hidrocentro
Huge "sinkhole" in front of the DC Crystal Mall
Valencia, (Maria Gabriela Valero P.) .- A gap of about seven meters long, three meters wide and five feet deep, was opened at the service road Feo La Cruz Avenue, opposite the entrance the Crystal Mall parking lot in the urbanization Las Quintas Naguanagua due to a broken sewage pipe Hidrocentro.
The collapse occurred around noon on Saturday, during a heavy downpour, so minutes later, the machines and crews of the Mayor of Naguanagua began excavation work on the site, to locate the problem and proceed to solution.
The mayor of the municipality, Alejandro Feo La Cruz, explained that at approximately 11:30 in the morning was undermined part of the road where water flowed, but by sending crews Naguanagua City Hall, they found that the main cause the outbreak was a broken sewage pipe to deteriorate, which must be repaired by Hidrocentro.
He explained that according to analysis conducted by engineers of the municipality, the deterioration of the pipe dates from some time, due to the size and depth, while the asphalt that covered him, had a thickness of 20 cm which covered all that remained was occurring below, explained the mayor.
No casualties were reported
For their part, officials Naguanagua Police, Civil Protection, experts from the Directorate of Urban Development and Fundanagua, went to where the pavement gave way, where, as reported by the authorities, there were no casualties or material damage regrets.
Also contacted Hidrocentro engineers, who were present. The place was also presented in Naguanagua Hidrocentro supervisor, engineer Carlos Aular and a gang of hydrology.
In the afternoon, the situation had been controlled and is expected in the coming days, carrying out appropriate repairs and paving to allow free transit through the arterial road.
