Road to Barlovento  interrupted by heavy rainfall

According to the Civil Protection director Miranda, Victor Lira, the rains brought down at least 20 trees in Barlovento, specifically on the old road-Caucagua Tacarigua.

Lira reported that a tree fell on a public transport units to route Windward injuring one of the occupants of the bus. He said villagers reported the hailstones.

Also in the Santa Helena, five homes were affected after strong winds caused the release of their roofs. In this case no injuries were reported.
