"Over to S America the Andes are shown doing mountain building, while some islands in the Caribbean are sinking, their plate
pushed under as S America rolls."

In this particular Blog will be describes and take note of all the Earth Changes of the World that will lead to the Geological Movement of the South American Plate: about 250 miles/400.33 Km  to roll!.

" These regions will not experience the sense that they have moved 250 miles further to the west, though this will be computed by man after the roll has been completed."

Low seismic activity in March
Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica, National University (OVSICORI-A), reported that during March alone there were nine earthquakes reported as felt by the population in different parts of the country. Also during this month there were no reported tremors in the Central Valley.
These earthquakes had depths between 8 and 46 km. and magnitudes between 2.4 to 5.0 degrees on the Richter scale, whose epicenters dominated the Pacific Coast of our country.
Of the nine earthquakes recorded, six of them were located along the Pacific, two in the South and the last region near the town of Guapiles, with a magnitude of 2.4 degrees.
The larger quake was located 38 km south of Puerto Armuelles, Panama, with a magnitude of 5.0 degrees on the Richter scale. Despite its remote location and no damage was reported.
All seismic events reported as felt by the population and the characteristics that each had, can be found on our website, www.ovsicori.una.ac.cr / seismology / senses (that is a dead link)
In addition to other topics of interest such as research related to the behavior of our volcanoes and seismology in general.

Costa Rica reported in the Pacific Nicaragua quake of April 14  listed at 5.9 by both Ovsicori and USGS.

The Managua news about the quake report FAST and INTENSE, and this is a jolt type of movement for Cocos subduction.  Since south america is moving west and is experiencing in its norther part the caribbean subduction crunch, is like the airplane that moved the smaller one in the airport recently, that's my sense for this, based on the news, considering that Costa Rica-Panama will behave like a revolving door, and sort of pivot during the move we are in the process of effecting, as we speak.

Rainfall affect water service in northern Barinas
This Wednesday for eight hours, the rain had been steady with a moderate to strong performance that left the roads flooded and a large number of plots impassable.
WALTER OBREGÓN | EL UNIVERSAL
Wednesday April 20, 2011 24:28
Barinas .- The rainfall in Barinas on Tuesday night, collapsed drains of the city, caused chaos in the traffic and forced the suspension of water supply in 60 communities.

This Wednesday for eight hours, the rain had been steady with a moderate to strong performance that left the roads flooded and a large number of plots impassable.

In the northern Barinas has not been water because of sedimentation of the mountain flow into the  Santo Domingo River, have muddied the stream that feeds the water treatment plant has cut its capacity for tolerance for the treatment of liquid, from 4,000 to 3,000 units.

Five days ago, increasing the Santo Domingo River, forcing the output of the water treatment plant operations in Barinas, and after a blackout crisis increased for communities that spent more than 20 hours without water.

Affected neighbors say the treatment plant has nearly three decades of operations without being aware of a major investment, making it inevitable that the problem further exacerbated by the wear of equipment.
