In this particular Blog will be describes and take note of all the Earth Changes of the World that will lead to the Geological Movement of the South American Plate: about 250 miles/400.33 Km  to roll!.

" These regions will not experience the sense that they have moved 250 miles further to the west, though this will be computed by man after the roll has been completed."

AVN .- Heavy rains affecting Colombia, from April 2010, have left a toll of 469 dead and more than three million 600 thousand affected by the passage of La Niña, which acts on the Pacific.

According to a report issued by the Risk Management Division of the Ministry of Interior and Justice, the torrential downpours of the past 14 months have made a total of 80 people missing and 575 others injured, Telesur reviewed on its website.

The official figures show that 13 thousand 351 homes have been destroyed by heavy rainfall and other 491 thousand 592 have been affected in 29 of the 32 departments (provinces) of Colombia.

Colombia, tropical climate, usually has two rainy seasons. The first of April to June and the second from October to December.

So far in 2011, the rains have not ceased and has killed 141 people, 18 missing, 138 injured, 772 thousand 386 people affected, 650 thousand homes destroyed and another 120 thousand 990 damaged, according to the report said.

Also, according to Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi (Geographic Institute), more than one million hectares of land were washed away by flooding rivers.

To meet the emergency by the rains, the government of Juan Manuel Santos has invested so far, 3.7 billion pesos (more than two thousand millions of dollars). However, people in the most affected municipalities complain that the aid does not reach them or are insufficient.

On 28 May, Santos revealed that the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies (IDEAM), officially announced that the tropical Pacific temperatures were normalized, which heralded the end of the La Nina phenomenon.

But he warned that the aftermath will present some additional rain, at least until beyond the middle of June, so the authorities and asked citizens to stay on alert against the possibility of flooding and landslides.
