For those who are not aware, Nancy has indicated that she is not going to be available anymore to answer all of your questions that you email her as her health and resources are being stretched and has deleted all of those in her friends list except those on her mirror sites team.
Additionally, the Zetatalk Chat sessions are ONLY for people asking the Zetas a question and all non-question related posts will be deleted by the mods.
This is also being done as in the near future, due to the anticipated increase in interest in the Ning when the 7/10 events really kick in, even MORE policing of the site will be required of the mods and when that happens, any content to be deleted or members to be suspended will occur without warning or explanation.
So, where you would have messaged Nancy before or posted on the ZetaTalk chat and now can't as it's not a direct question for the Zetas, post your questions here! All questions welcome.
Since the start of this Ning, you have a wealth of individuals who know the ZetaTalk message almost as well as Nancy does - there's no need to ask her, just ask here. Nancy is one person, but the Ning is a big group who can answer your questions (and want to answer your questions) in the same way!
(and please don't PM me with your questions - post them here instead)
ADDENDUM by Nancy. This was a Zeta response on December 4, 2010 during the chats, and I think it applies. I have warned the chats that the time would come when I would only say 'accepted' for those accepted, and not respond at all to other questions. That time has come, as of this week. Here's the prior ZetaTalk:
This is an opportunity to discuss the public's expectations of Nancy, who is a single person, 70 years old, with health concerns, who works every day for as many hours as her health allows on getting the message out to the world. She was asked, in the early days of ZetaTalk, to be as educated on astronomy as astronomers, and did so to a degree that allowed her to support the imaging of the inbound Planet X. She supported our debates on sci.astro on the absurdity of human math when faced with reality, on the matter of why the Moon is in the skies and not crashing to Earth, even though she does not speak math any more than she speaks Greek.
To properly translate our concepts, Nancy, as she has so often mentioned, must be on the same page as ourselves, versed sufficiently in the subject to understand our response. Thus she has been asked to be educated to the level of a biologist or geneticist on the matter of the hybrids, to be a geologist on plate movements, to be a vulcanologist, to be a hydrologist on water movement, to be an archeologist re ancient civilizations, to be an electrician when discussing survival equipment, and to be a sociologist and political scientist on the matter of human behavior. Where images do not exist on the web, she draws them sufficiently to explain our words. We do not, on every answer, require Nancy to spend hours positioning herself such that she goes beyond what is needed to relay our message.
Bear in mind, during these chats, what you are asking of ourselves and Nancy. You have a resource here which you are regularly wasting and exhausting with idiotic questions! Nancy has warned that the time is quickly coming when you will get no response from her at all, just a statement as to which questions will be accepted. You have complained when she told you, in no uncertain terms, what was wrong with your demands or your questions. But those who do not learn are destined to be ignored, which is what is coming next.

@ Ahimsa : well, just as I was about to click the reply-button, I noticed that Lothar beat me to it..
If you go to Lothar´s recent blog : http://poleshift.ning.com/profiles/blogs/bouy-52402-12-meter-drop
you will find several graphics from Bouy 52404, so check out each of them as they convey different aspects of the same event, expressed in time, mostly (and waterheight, of course).. This blog-post is a very, very good example of reading those graphs...
:-) it´s here : (from when LISS was down) : http://poleshift.ning.com/forum/topics/south-american-roll-watch?co...
Yes, Recall´s blog is the one I keep coming back to, because that´s where I really learn to read the different seismos, bouys etc... I like it that he´s printing out the whole data access thing, I know it consumes pages of numbers, but a good way to learn... now that I´ve been Ning-ing for 6 months, I feel I have the gist of it, I can spot a compression pattern, see when lava flows and a plate adjusts.. it´s a big deal to me... I feel empowered..
I just checked to see if there was a Buoy for the sea off of Rio, but haven´t found it yet...

Good direction, Malou,
I commented recently on one of Recall's bouy event posts [which I searched for and cannot find] about possibly giving a more indepth explanation of how to read the graphs people are looking at; especially for the newer members. Earthquakes, Tsunamis, and flooding are all one thing, but Bouy Events are not as familiar and mainstream to people. Maybe Lothar can post a little more info.

upon going through past ZT, i came across a reference to a "desert map", showing where the future deserts would be.
has anyone ever come across a map like this in ZT?
@Lothar -- Thank you for the link to the NDBC's "Educate" page. Actually, I've been there many times, but I can't understand their scientific explanations. For example, I don't know what heave acceleration, spectral energies, significant wave height (WVHGT), average wave period (AVGPD), and dominant period (DOMPD) are.
I've gratefully followed your ning posts about NDBC over the weeks, and I do comprehend more of what you say than what NDBC says. However, I still don't understand the fundamentals of the buoy readings, especially when the buoys are in event mode. Would it be too much of an imposition to ask you to give the many neophytes on the ning a brief lesson in how to interpret the buoy readings? I think many of us are trying our best to educate ourselves on our own, but when the topic is complex and technical, layperson's language is what we need.
Thank you.
@Malou and heartsong -- thank you also for your input.

Great idea! I've been wondering how to interpret the National Data Buoy Center graphs for weeks now, but I didn't want to take up anyone's valuable time with what might be a silly question. However, I noticed that one of the first questioners in this "Ask Us" blog alluded to confusion about the NDBC's buoy readings, so I will take it a step further and ask specific questions about these measurements.
Here goes. How does one read the charts issued by the National Data Buoy Center that measure water column height? For example, do the peaks and valleys on the charts represent simple tides, or do they represent anomalies like tsunami waves or rising or sinking sea floors? I'm confused because it seems that not only do the stations that are in event mode have peaks and valleys, but those not in event mode frequently do too.
Also, it seems that the difference in water column height between a peak and a valley on many buoys that are in event mode is often less than a meter. Could this simply represent rough seas during a storm and not tsunami waves or tectonic plate movements?
Well, as you can see, I am confused. I would appreciate any guidance you could give me.
Thank you.

Laura, the North American continent will be more temperate and some locations will have the same climate, here are the links to safe locations and what they explain about climate - http://www.zetatalk.com/info/tinfo242.htm

Billy read carefully the info on MT , the continental divide is moving 50 to 60 miles east so you would not want to relocate close to the front range. Also if is very windy and dry on the Eastern side so having a source of water is important. Should the pole shift be as stated in the aftertimes you would be on the north side of the Rockies as they would oriented east west vs north south generally now . That means it will still be a cold place to live I would think. correct me if I am coming to incorrect conclusions. Yellowstone is a pretty neat place if you can visit. You may not be able to later. I know Howard I am just living on the edge. If you can do both go for it. You can camp cheaply if you reserve now. the spaces go quickly . Watching Old Faithful gives you goose bumps. cheers good luck with the decision making ! Laura
Howard said:Billy - We are at a 7 of 10. Don't waste any time planning a family vacation to Yellowstone. Instead, start planning a permanent relocation somewhere safe - eastern Montana perhaps.
Billy Wilkie said:well ,here i go...We are planning a trip to Yellow Stone this Summer...I am afraid, by the looks of things ,we may have to cancel.I certainly do not want to put my family's lives in jeopordy..Any thoughts ?Please ,i would rather you not point out my ignorance.I am just like everyone else, trying to find my way..There is so much info Nancy has graciously given me.I am unable to memorize it unlike several of you..With your help i may make a wise decision.Thank you
:-) ok, my turn..
I´ve been trying to figure out HOW volcanic ash from the Iceland volcanos would impact Scandinavia in the Aftertime - but have sofar come up with - zilch..
Search engines have consistently dealt me Kojima´s "Extracts" (which I have gladly gone through once more :-) + a futuristic piece by Recall, mentioning Norway and Sweden as suffering heavily from volcanic gloom in the Aftertime..
I´m really not so sure, how things will pan out.... Actually, during the Eyjafjällajökull eruption in April, the ususal/normal winds took the ash FIRSTLY to the UK - and then only later from there to here - + as far as I recall, even northern Norway had open airports long after most others had closed down...
So it´s a question of deducing here... not my bright side, altogether, when it comes to stuff like this, I´m afraid...
So, I´ve been studying and studying "Mike´s modified globe" in Kojima´s animated version (http://poleshift.ning.com/profiles/blogs/mikes-modified-globe) and of course the New Geography MAP, but I just don´t find a lot to indicate that the Coriolis isn´t going to blow incoming ash AWAY from Scandinavia again..
Educate me, please, on this one... Someone ?!?

Thanks MegaMontana & ryan ! I hadn´t seen that particular newsletter, but have read all the safe locs info + updates on nordic countries... ryan : I can´t see where Iceland will be post-PS . it could be right smack in the middle of Equator, you know...:-) anyway, I too gather that the worst will be over, once the PS has happened as far as eruptions and fallout goes.. That piece from the newsletter about Laki was very informative, and I hadn´t realized what went on back then..(I don´t get the newsletters)..thanks again !
Yes - the weather... we ARE used to overcast skies... having them in a tropical setting will be surprising..
Hi everyone, I think this is a wonderful idea. I read the forum every week enthusiastically and study all the answers fully. I have learned so much and can't thank Nancy enough for it.
The areas I thought were safe are now either flooded, one area has had 370 mm of rain yesterday alone, others have had landslides and even more are really dangerous. So far no flooding here but I am just waiting and praying it doesn't reach us. I am writing this through storms, it's quite scary to say the least. I mean how do you pack up your house for major floods, ever?
Thank you for the info on the tsunami buoys, I understand it all better now.
