We'll be seeing an uptick in unusual home and business gas explosions and I'm trying to locate specific ZT on the matter.  Below is a refresher for the many gas related news articles.

SOZT

Fault lines, when adjusting, do not just rip apart one day during a dramatic earthquake. They most often creep. Laying gas lines along or across a fault line is asking for an accident of this sort. Fault lines are also seldom so clearly delineated that one can go a mile in this or that direction and avoid their action. Where a slip-slide fault such as the San Andreas will often leave a clear line on the surface, this is only the surface action, not what occurs in the rock layers on either side which can fracture for a long way to either side during any movement. The gas company, or the age of the pipes, will be faulted but in truth the finger should be pointed in many directions. The public, who insist on living at such a scenic spot, is to blame. Officials, who zoned for housing are to blame. The public utility company, for allowing gas lines in the area, is to blame. But this will change nothing, while man continues to live on the San Andreas, even as it awakens. EOZT

The danger from radon gas will not be increased as a result of the pole shift. Radon gas is emitted by rock containing uranium, which is degrading. In normal circumstances, where air can circulate, it is disbursed rapidly as is any methane created by decay of organic material. The danger from these gasses comes from confinement - being trapped in a mine, a basement, or beneath the permafrost. The dangers are well known. For methane, it is explosions. An accumulation of methane gas can be identified by the smell of rotten eggs, or as some have described it, dirty socks or cabbage soup. For radon gas the danger is lung cancer, from the continual exposure to the radioactive air. Radon gas is odorless, and cannot be detected except by specialized equipment not in the hands of the average person.

In that the pole shift, or the Earth changes preceding the pole shift, can fracture rock and release pockets of either gas, survivors should be cautious about huddling in bunkers. You are safer out in the open air, or in a trench you have dug that will allow the pole shift winds to pass over you, but nothing to fall on and crush you. The fact that both methane gas and radon gas can accumulate in the bunkers of the elite is one of the reasons we have stated that they have dug their own graves. EOZT

Anyone watching the news, for instance the news on the San Bruno explosion in a distribution line close to the San Andreas Fault line, knows that gas in any form is a danger. Oil and gas refineries explode when rigid piping cracks. Oil or gas wells explode when the ground around them moves. And the gas distribution lines running under cities are no exception. They likewise will explode. Gas lines, whether along the street or within a home, are rigid. In some cases automatic shutoff valves can limit the amount of gas available for an explosion by sensing a drop in pressure, but this is always after the fact. The explosion has already occurred. Utilizing gas on a planet prone to earthquakes was a mistake to begin with, but man never thinks of the consequences when striving for modern conveniences. We have advised turning off the gas at the street, though when the street explodes and your neighbor's homes are on fire you are not likely to escape the holocaust. A better alternative is to live in an area where gas is not available, as in your rural safe location where you will be doing a form of camping while gardening. A campfire at night, for cooking and washing and a bit of friendly light before bed. Nothing explosive. EOZT

SOZT Answer: It is no accident that the New Madrid fault lies under the Mississippi River near Memphis, as rivers form in lowlands created when land pulls apart, separating the rock fingers and weakening support for the land. Thus, the Ohio River bed also is an indication of where rock fingers will pull apart. Two adjustments in Kentucky, a day apart, are not an accident, but an indication of the speed at which the stretch zone is starting to adjust. Rail lines are frequently an early harbinger of such adjustments, as they run long distances, whereas structures within cities, such as tall buildings, take up relatively little space and have a small footprint. Our warning that imploding cities will be experienced, before the hour of the shift, are in this regard. Be warmed, it will not just be your rail lines and gas and water mains that will shatter and be pulled apart during the stretch. The foundations of your tall buildings will likewise be vulnerable.EOZT

NEWARK, N.J. -- Part of a two-story apartment building in Newark was reduced to rubble after an explosion left several people injured Friday evening.

The building, managed by the Newark Housing Authority, was all but destroyed about 6 p.m. Friday after an explosion rocked the building. The cause of the blast is under investigation.

The walls of the building were blown off, leaving a refrigerator and furniture on full display.

Valery Lasky and her son work at a nearby deli.

"He said 'Ma, a building exploded.' I ran and looked and saw a guy climbing down the rubble. The owner of the store said there were people all over the ground," Lasky said.

Newark officials said six people were hurt. Five were taken to area hospitals. One woman suffered from serious burns.

Several people were injured and homes are destroyed after an explosion in Newark. Anthony Carlo has the details.

"I actually know the man who is in there. His name is Mario, and I just hope he is going to be OK," Lasky added.

The Red Cross is assisting at least 31 displaced families, including 28 adults and three children, as investigators try to pin down what happened.

"No, we don't have any information about where the explosion started, what unit it started from; this is an ongoing investigation," Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Frage said.

Silo blast in southern Brazil kills at least eight, one missing

SAO PAULO, July 27 (Reuters) - At least eight people were killed and nearly a dozen were injured after a grain silo explosion on Wednesday at an agricultural co-operative in southern Brazil, the government of Parana state where the incident occurred and the company involved said on Thursday.

The blast happened at the C.Vale co-operative in the small town of Palotina, about 600 km (370 miles) from the state's capital Curitiba. Parana is one of Brazil's top farm states.

A company spokesperson said seven of those who died were foreign workers, mostly Haitians, and one was Brazilian.

C.Vale said the silo where the explosion occurred stored about 12,000 metric tons of soybeans and 40,000 metric tons of corn.

The company, which stores grains in 125 units across five Brazilian states and in Paraguay, had said earlier in the day nearly a dozen people had been hospitalized after the blast, excluding the fatalities.

A similar explosion took place in 1993, C.Vale confirmed.

Ricken declined to speculate on the causes of the explosion, deferring questions to authorities as investigations are ongoing.

Grain dust particles are highly combustible and can cause fires or explosions in confined spaces such as grain storage facilities, although it is unclear what happened in this case.

Fire Department official Manoel Vasco said dogs were helping in the search for the missing worker potentially trapped under the rubble and grains.

Agriculture Minister Carlos Favaro and President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva both posted on messaging platform X, formerly known as Twitter, that they received news of the explosion and deaths with sadness.

Acting Parana Governor Darci Piana headed to Palotina, a city of some 35,000 people, alongside state secretaries to follow the rescue operations and provide support to the families, the government said.

Dramatic moment entire road explodes in mystery blast leaving one person dead and dozens hurt as it sends buses flying

  • Footage shows road cracking in city's Central Business District
  • Gas provider denies leak is the cause of the sudden blast on Bree Street

An explosion from a so far unknown origin ripped through a street in Johannesburg on Wednesday July 19, killing one person and injuring dozens.

Security CCTV footage from a building nearby shows the moment the explosion happened in the city's Central Business District, cracking the tarmac and sending minibuses and taxis flying.

The cause of the explosion on Bree Street has not yet been confirmed and officials have warned the public to avoid the area due to safety concerns.

The video shows pedestrians running frantically on pavements following the explosion.

Most vehicles appeared to have been left unable to move as a result of the blast, with one van shown attempting to reverse up the street.

Man narrowly escapes flying bus by deadly explosion in Johannesburg

Some people needed to be rescued after being left trapped in their cars.

The footage shows a large crack down the middle of the road as well as a gaping hole left by the explosion.

Robert Mulaudzi, a spokesperson for Johannesburg Emergency Services (EMS) said at least 11 people were injured in the explosion.

One of those was seriously injured, according to reports.

A disaster management squad is in the area and have cordoned off a 1 km area because of the risk of further explosions.

The buildings are also being assessed for structural damage as a result of the blast.

A gas leak is suspected to be the cause of the sudden incident, with some locals reporting smells in the area.

But Egoli Gas which manages the pipeline under the street, denied the blast was a result of their network and said that investigations had not uncovered any sign of a leak.

It pointed to the fact that its gas pipes run at extremely low pressure to the side of the road, and were left intact when the tarmac split from the centre.

In a tweet, it said: "It is unlikely that the explosion in Johannesbury CBD, Bree Street, was caused by a gas pipeline or leak.

"Our network has experienced no pressure loss which indicates the gas pipelines are intact. Our customers in the area continue to receive gas uninterrupted."

A Pennsylvania chocolate factory explosion has killed 5 people and 6 are missing

In this screen grab from video provided by WPVI-TV/6ABC, smoke rises from an explosion at the R.M. Palmer Co. plant in West Reading, Pa., on Friday.

WPVI-TV/6ABC via AP

WEST READING, Pa. — An explosion at a chocolate factory in Pennsylvania on Friday killed five people and left six people missing, authorities said.

The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency confirmed the increase in the number of fatalities Saturday morning after the blast just before 5 p.m. Friday at the R.M. Palmer Co. plant in the borough of West Reading.

Chief of Police Wayne Holben said the blast destroyed one building and damaged a neighboring building.

"It's pretty leveled," Mayor Samantha Kaag said of the explosion site. "The building in the front, with the church and the apartments, the explosion was so big that it moved that building four feet forward."

The cause of the blast in the community about 60 miles (96 kilometers) northwest of Philadelphia was under investigation, Holden told reporters.

Eight people were taken to Reading Hospital Friday evening, Tower Health spokeswoman Jessica Bezler said.

Two people were admitted in fair condition and five were being treated and would be released, she said in an email. One patient was transferred to another facility, but Bezler provided no further details.

Kaag said people were asked to move back about a block in each direction from the site of the explosion but no evacuations were ordered.

Dean Murray, the borough manager of West Reading Borough, said some residents were displaced from the damaged apartment building.

Kagg said borough officials were not in immediate contact with officials from R.M. Palmer, which Murray described as "a staple of the borough."

The company's website says it has been making "chocolate novelties" since 1948 and now has 850 employees at its West Reading headquarters.

Huge flames have risen above northern Lithuania after a gas pipeline close to the Russian border exploded.

The gas pipeline connects Lithuania and Latvia and is around 170 miles (over 270km) from the Russian border.

The flames reportedly rose over 160ft (50 metres) in the air and could be seen from 11 miles (17 kilometres) away after the blast at around 5pm GMT (7pm local time) today.

There was no immediate evidence of an attack, Lithuania gas transmission operator Amber Grid said.

The flames have since been put out but video published by Lithuania's public broadcaster LRT showed a fire raging at the blast site in the Panevezys county in northern Lithuania.

'According to the initial assessment, we do not see any malign cause, but the investigation will cover all possible options,' Amber Grid Chief Executive Nemunas Biknius told a news conference.

The supply of gas was immediately cut off as emergency response teams acted to put the flames out.

The system at the site had two parallel pipelines, and although the supply to one had been interrupted, the other was operating normally and local consumers were still being supplied, according to the statement.

Lithuania is situated on the Baltic Sea where the Russia-to-Germany Nord Stream gas pipelines were destroyed by explosions last year.

Here's what we know about an explosion, fire at a Marengo plant

Updated: 9:01 AM CST Dec 9, 2022

MARENGO, Iowa —
Multiple patients are being treated at University of Iowa Health Hospitals & Clinics for injuries following an explosion and fire at a Marengo plant, about 80 miles east of Des Moines.

The Iowa State Patrol tells KCCI that the explosion happened around 11:20 a.m. on Thursday. Many agencies responded within a 30-50 mile radius. The first priority was to account for the people inside the plant, several of which sustained injuries. A few injuries are burn-related.

The state patrol tells KCCI that preliminary findings indicate that approximately 30 people were in the plant.  All of those people have been accounted for.

UI Hospitals & Clinics said that they are treating 10-15 patients who were at the explosion. They cannot comment on specific conditions, but say the majority are in the minor to moderate category. Most patients are being treated for burns and trauma. Patients' immediate family members can contact the hospital at 319-356-1616.

The fire is still burning and crews are using foam and water to put it out. The state Fire Marshal is on site trying to find a cause.

Marengo residents in an eight-block radius were evacuated from their homes, but have since been allowed to return.

Iowa State Patrol continues to monitor air and water quality.

"This was a hazmat situation. This is a biofuel plant, from my understanding. With that, we look at what is possibly in there, we try and figure out what chemicals are there. Look at the hazmat guide and say, ‘OK we want to evacuate these people,'" Iowa State Trooper Bob Conrad told KCCI.

11:20 a.m. Authorities receive a call for an explosion and fire at the Marengo plant.

12:05 p.m. One business near the fire tells KCCI they are under evacuation.

12:30 p.m. The city says on Facebook if residents are evacuated due to the fire, they should go to the Iowa County Transportation Building.

12:45 p.m. A staff member with Iowa Valley Community School District said the district is not impacted. So far, they have not evacuated or canceled classes.

12:45 p.m. The State Fire Marshal's Office said they have not responded but are aware of the fire.

12:50 p.m. Staff at the Iowa County Transportation Building says they don't have any evacuated residents there yet. They are on standby to pick people up if needed.

1:15 p.m.KCCI's Beau Bowman has arrived on scene in Marengo. While keeping a safe distance from the investigation, KCCI is working to confirm new information about the explosion and whether anyone is hurt.

1:20 p.m. University of Iowa Health Hospitals & Clinics says it has received multiple patients following the explosion. Staff members say they anticipate others may be en route. At this time, UIHC says doctors are evaluating the severity of injuries and working to ensure all patients receive the care they require.

1:40 p.m. KCCI confirms the burning building is owned by Heartland Crush LLC, according to the Iowa County assessor.

1:45 p.m. Iowa Valley Community School District tells KCCI students and staff members in Marengo are advised to not go outdoors because of air quality concerns. There are currently no changes to student pickup or activities after school.

3:50 p.m. UIHC confirms 10-15 patients are being cared for that were at the explosion. Most patients are being treated for burns and trauma. Most patients are in minor to moderate condition.

8:26 p.m. Residents in an eight-block radius who had evacuated are allowed to return home.

Crews continue to put out the fire.

One dead and 'a dozen' missing after 'gas' explosion at block of flats in Jersey (UK) as police urge people to stay away

Debris was strewn across the street while smoke plumes billowed through the air, as two 'walking wounded' were rushed to hospital

One person has died and up to 12 people are missing after an explosion destroyed several flats in Jersey.

Emergency services were called to Haut du Mont flats in St Helier just before 4am amid reports of a major incident.

A search and rescue operation is underway in an attempt to find people trapped in the rubble, but the scene is reportedly 'very dangerous'.

Debris was strewn across the street while smoke plumes billowed through the air, as two 'walking wounded' were rushed to hospital.

States of Jersey Police chief officer Robin Smith said: 'Following the explosion this morning at Haut du Mont, Pier Road, a number of residents are still missing.'

He noted the search and rescue operation will likely take 'a number of days', and said the three-storey building had completely collapsed.

'From a demolition point of view, it's like a pancake that has dropped completely down... It is considerable destruction... It is a devastating scene, I regret to say.

'There needs to be a recognition that we could have more fatalities.'

The fire has now been extinguished, but emergency services are still 'carrying out significant work' at the scene, which is cordoned off
Jersey's gas supplier, Island Energy, has issued a statement, reading: 'We are working with @JsyFire to understand exactly what has happened'

'Emergency services are working at the scene and have commenced a surface search of the site.'

The fire has now been extinguished, but emergency services are still 'carrying out significant work' at the scene, which is cordoned off.

People have been asked to avoid the area.

Locals have also been urged to avoid the hospital's emergency department unless absolutely necessary to ensure the resources can be adequately used to treat victims.

It has not yet been established what caused the explosion, but Jersey's gas supplier, Island Energy, has issued a statement, reading: 'We are working with @JsyFire to understand exactly what has happened.
