MASSIVE explosion rips through industrial park near Argentina’s main international airport.

Fault lines, when adjusting, do not just rip apart one day during a dramatic earthquake. They most often creep. Laying gas lines along or across a fault line is asking for an accident of this sort. Fault lines are also seldom so clearly delineated that one can go a mile in this or that direction and avoid their action. Where a slip-slide fault such as the San Andreas will often leave a clear line on the surface, this is only the surface action, not what occurs in the rock layers on either side which can fracture for a long way to either side during any movement. The gas company, or the age of the pipes, will be faulted but in truth the finger should be pointed in many directions. The public, who insist on living at such a scenic spot, is to blame. Officials, who zoned for housing are to blame. The public utility company, for allowing gas lines in the area, is to blame. But this will change nothing, while man continues to live on the San Andreas, even as it awakens. EOZT

The danger from radon gas will not be increased as a result of the pole shift. Radon gas is emitted by rock containing uranium, which is degrading. In normal circumstances, where air can circulate, it is disbursed rapidly as is any methane created by decay of organic material. The danger from these gasses comes from confinement - being trapped in a mine, a basement, or beneath the permafrost. The dangers are well known. For methane, it is explosions. An accumulation of methane gas can be identified by the smell of rotten eggs, or as some have described it, dirty socks or cabbage soup. For radon gas the danger is lung cancer, from the continual exposure to the radioactive air. Radon gas is odorless and cannot be detected except by specialized equipment not in the hands of the average person.

In that the pole shift, or the Earth changes preceding the pole shift, can fracture rock and release pockets of either gas, survivors should be cautious about huddling in bunkers. You are safer out in the open air, or in a trench you have dug that will allow the pole shift winds to pass over you, but nothing to fall on and crush you. The fact that both methane gas and radon gas can accumulate in the bunkers of the elite is one of the reasons we have stated that they have dug their own graves. EOZT

Anyone watching the news, for instance the news on the San Bruno explosion in a distribution line close to the San Andreas Fault line, knows that gas in any form is a danger. Oil and gas refineries explode when rigid piping cracks. Oil or gas wells explode when the ground around them moves. And the gas distribution lines running under cities are no exception. They likewise will explode. Gas lines, whether along the street or within a home, are rigid. In some cases automatic shutoff valves can limit the amount of gas available for an explosion by sensing a drop in pressure, but this is always after the fact. The explosion has already occurred. Utilizing gas on a planet prone to earthquakes was a mistake to begin with, but man never thinks of the consequences when striving for modern conveniences. We have advised turning off the gas at the street, though when the street explodes and your neighbor's homes are on fire you are not likely to escape the holocaust. A better alternative is to live in an area where gas is not available, as in your rural safe location where you will be doing a form of camping while gardening. A campfire at night, for cooking and washing and a bit of friendly light before bed. Nothing explosive. EOZT

SOZT Answer: It is no accident that the New Madrid fault lies under the Mississippi River near Memphis, as rivers form in lowlands created when land pulls apart, separating the rock fingers and weakening support for the land. Thus, the Ohio River bed also is an indication of where rock fingers will pull apart. Two adjustments in Kentucky, a day apart, are not an accident, but an indication of the speed at which the stretch zone is starting to adjust. Rail lines are frequently an early harbinger of such adjustments, as they run long distances, whereas structures within cities, such as tall buildings, take up relatively little space and have a small footprint. Our warning that imploding cities will be experienced, before the hour of the shift, are in this regard. Be warmed, it will not just be your rail lines and gas and water mains that will shatter and be pulled apart during the stretch. The foundations of your tall buildings will likewise be vulnerable.EOZT

The blast was reported a few minutes after 6 p.m. in the 6500 block of Purdy Avenue, the agency said.

On social media, the Fire Department characterized it as a two-story home on fire, though Paul Camacho, chief of the Bell Gardens Police Department, later said it was actually a small apartment building with three or four units.

OLIVE BRANCH, Mississippi

Authorities are investigating a building explosion that occurred Tuesday morning in Olive Branch.

The building was a future site of Southern VIP Pain Management, which has not yet opened.

The developers have been renovating the existing building to prepare it for the clinic.

No injuries have been reported.

Authorities indicate the explosion was caused by the ignition of a natural gas device.

Note the proximity to the tectonically adjusting Mississippi River.

Smoke coming from Maxwell House plant, 1/26/26

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A piece of equipment reportedly exploded Monday morning at the Maxwell House plant downtown, the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said.

JFRD got the call around 11 a.m. and said crews were in and out within a matter of minutes.

No one was injured in the incident, JFRD said.

Kraft Heinz, the parent company of Maxwell House, issued the following statement, saying there was not an explosion:

“We can confirm that all employees are safe and there was no explosion or fire at the plant. The loud noise reported to authorities was caused by a piece of equipment, and we’re investigating the cause of that noise now. There is no danger to employees or the community.”

Transformer fire knocks out power for hundreds in East New York amid extreme cold

Con Edison says crews arrived at the scene, isolated the damaged equipment, and began making repairs as safely as possible. The cause of the outage is still under investigation.

Hundreds of Brooklyn residents were left without power overnight as bitter cold swept across the borough, following a transformer fire in East New York.
Firefighters were called just after 7:30 p.m. Monday to Shepherd Avenue near Linden Boulevard and Hegeman Avenue for reports of burning wires and a smoking transformer, according to the FDNY. Crews stood by while Con Edison responded to handle the damaged equipment.
Neighbors recorded video from inside their homes showing emergency crews outside — while their apartments sat dark with no power. For many, that meant no lights and no heat as temperatures dropped into the teens.
Con Edison says crews arrived at the scene, isolated the damaged equipment, and began making repairs as safely as possible. The cause of the outage is still under investigation.
As of early Tuesday morning, the Con Edison outage map showed more than 1,500 customers without power across Brooklyn, including about 300 customers near Shepherd Avenue. Utility officials say extreme cold weather may be contributing to outages being reported across the borough.
Con Edison estimates power in the Shepherd Avenue area could be restored by around 7 a.m., though restoration times can change.
Because of the extreme cold, the city says warming centers are open across all five boroughs. Residents without heat or electricity can find locations and hours at https://on.nyc.gov/warmingcenters.
In addition, warming vehicles are stationed at the following locations:
  • 16 Bedford Place
  • Outside Woodhull Hospital, 760 Broadway
Officials urge anyone without heat or power to use these resources until electricity is restored.

ATLANTA, Georgia

Crews extinguished an underground fire that broke out in Midtown Atlanta after reports of explosions Monday night.

There are significant power outages in the area.

Bystanders at 11th Street NE and Crescent Avenue NE – near apartment buildings, dozens of businesses and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta – told responding firefighters they heard explosions before the fire, a department spokesperson said.

One witness reported that a manhole cover blew off.

“A small fire was located underground upon investigation,” the fire department spokesperson said just before 8 p.m. “That fire is no longer active, but the power underground is still live.”

More than 4,000 customers are without power in the area, according to Georgia Power. The company estimates it could be hours before service is restored.

Trikala, Greece — At least 4 female workers died after an explosion and fire at the VIOLANTA biscuit factory in Trikala, Thessaly, in the early hours of the morning. One more is still missing.

According to the Fire Service, the blaze began shortly before 4:00 AM and is currently consuming a wing of the facility. Reports indicate that 11 people were in the affected wing at the time of the incident. 6 workers were safely evacuated and transported to the hospital for first aid.

Witnesses said that the fire was preceded by a massive explosion that caused part of the building to collapse. The blast was so powerful that it was heard in the city of Trikala and the surrounding villages, where residents reported windows rattling.

The leading scenario under examination is a gas leak, with the explosion believed to have been triggered by a spark.

RIPLEY, Mississippi — The city of Ripley is asking for patience as crews repair a major gas line break between Ripley and Blue Mountain.

City officials said many residents are without gas at this time.  They said their crews, along with assistance from local contractors and members of New Albany’s gas department, are working diligently to repair this.

They said this is a unique situation and due to the complexity and some uncontrollable circumstances, it will most likely go on into the night before it is finished.

Tijuana, Mexico

Saturday morning there was a strong explosion of 2 sewers of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), located in the Central Zone.

The incident was reported shortly after 8:30 in the morning in an area near where the work of repairing the denhole on Avenida Revolución is being carried out.

"It was a strong explosion, the people who live nearby must have felt it. I can't confirm the origin, that will be determined by the fire investigation unit," said the supervisor of the Fire Department, Arturo Sánchez.

The Hazardous Materials Unit reached the point of the explosion to rule out any risk, this being a commercial and residential area.

"This is to make a more complete assessment and rule out any risk for citizens and all the locals around here. The monitors do not mark us a risk, but we are not going to rule out anything," Arturo Sánchez added.
