MASSIVE explosion rips through industrial park near Argentina’s main international airport.

Fault lines, when adjusting, do not just rip apart one day during a dramatic earthquake. They most often creep. Laying gas lines along or across a fault line is asking for an accident of this sort. Fault lines are also seldom so clearly delineated that one can go a mile in this or that direction and avoid their action. Where a slip-slide fault such as the San Andreas will often leave a clear line on the surface, this is only the surface action, not what occurs in the rock layers on either side which can fracture for a long way to either side during any movement. The gas company, or the age of the pipes, will be faulted but in truth the finger should be pointed in many directions. The public, who insist on living at such a scenic spot, is to blame. Officials, who zoned for housing are to blame. The public utility company, for allowing gas lines in the area, is to blame. But this will change nothing, while man continues to live on the San Andreas, even as it awakens. EOZT

The danger from radon gas will not be increased as a result of the pole shift. Radon gas is emitted by rock containing uranium, which is degrading. In normal circumstances, where air can circulate, it is disbursed rapidly as is any methane created by decay of organic material. The danger from these gasses comes from confinement - being trapped in a mine, a basement, or beneath the permafrost. The dangers are well known. For methane, it is explosions. An accumulation of methane gas can be identified by the smell of rotten eggs, or as some have described it, dirty socks or cabbage soup. For radon gas the danger is lung cancer, from the continual exposure to the radioactive air. Radon gas is odorless and cannot be detected except by specialized equipment not in the hands of the average person.

In that the pole shift, or the Earth changes preceding the pole shift, can fracture rock and release pockets of either gas, survivors should be cautious about huddling in bunkers. You are safer out in the open air, or in a trench you have dug that will allow the pole shift winds to pass over you, but nothing to fall on and crush you. The fact that both methane gas and radon gas can accumulate in the bunkers of the elite is one of the reasons we have stated that they have dug their own graves. EOZT

Anyone watching the news, for instance the news on the San Bruno explosion in a distribution line close to the San Andreas Fault line, knows that gas in any form is a danger. Oil and gas refineries explode when rigid piping cracks. Oil or gas wells explode when the ground around them moves. And the gas distribution lines running under cities are no exception. They likewise will explode. Gas lines, whether along the street or within a home, are rigid. In some cases automatic shutoff valves can limit the amount of gas available for an explosion by sensing a drop in pressure, but this is always after the fact. The explosion has already occurred. Utilizing gas on a planet prone to earthquakes was a mistake to begin with, but man never thinks of the consequences when striving for modern conveniences. We have advised turning off the gas at the street, though when the street explodes and your neighbor's homes are on fire you are not likely to escape the holocaust. A better alternative is to live in an area where gas is not available, as in your rural safe location where you will be doing a form of camping while gardening. A campfire at night, for cooking and washing and a bit of friendly light before bed. Nothing explosive. EOZT

SOZT Answer: It is no accident that the New Madrid fault lies under the Mississippi River near Memphis, as rivers form in lowlands created when land pulls apart, separating the rock fingers and weakening support for the land. Thus, the Ohio River bed also is an indication of where rock fingers will pull apart. Two adjustments in Kentucky, a day apart, are not an accident, but an indication of the speed at which the stretch zone is starting to adjust. Rail lines are frequently an early harbinger of such adjustments, as they run long distances, whereas structures within cities, such as tall buildings, take up relatively little space and have a small footprint. Our warning that imploding cities will be experienced, before the hour of the shift, are in this regard. Be warmed, it will not just be your rail lines and gas and water mains that will shatter and be pulled apart during the stretch. The foundations of your tall buildings will likewise be vulnerable.EOZT

Malfunctioning lithium-ion battery causes explosion, fire at apartment complex in Boone

Residents described the explosion as sounding like gunshots

BOONE, N.C. (WBTV) - A malfunctioning lithium-ion battery reportedly caused an explosion and fire at an apartment complex in Watauga County on Wednesday.

One person was rushed to the hospital for evaluation, and no other injuries were reported. Officials estimated approximately $100,000 in property damage and contents loss.

The fire broke out around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at the Finmore Apartments along Shadowline Drive in Boone.

Firefighters said two residents inside the unit called 911, reporting a loud explosion — described as sounding like gunshots — that caused flying debris to strike them in the back.

When crews arrived, there were no visible signs of an active fire from outside the building, and no alarm systems had been activated. A resident later directed personnel to the fire’s location before evacuating.

Crews later discovered the building’s automatic sprinkler system had been shut off without fire department approval. Firefighters forced entry into the sprinkler riser room to restore water to the system. Despite this, the fire was ultimately brought under control and extinguished using a hose line advanced up the interior stairwell and supplied by a fire engine outside.

Investigators determined that a malfunctioning lithium-ion battery in an electric skateboard caused the fire. The investigation remains ongoing, and officials said additional action is pending.

An explosion that occurred in the early hours of Saturday at a biotechnology company in Shuozhou, North China’s Shanxi Province has resulted in eight fatalities as of 9:30 am Sunday, and the cause of the incident is still under investigation, according to Xinhua News Agency.

The on-site command center of the accident at the local biotechnology company in Shanyin county has confirmed that the company’s legal representative has been placed under control, and Shuozhou has established an accident investigation team, according to the report.

The company is located in a mountainous area more than 40 kilometers from the county seat. At the accident site, Xinhua reporters saw thick yellowish smoke still billowing, as emergency response and cleanup operations continued.

According to the Beijing Daily, the explosion occurred in a production workshop of the company on Saturday. Following the incident, rescuers launched a full-scale search and rescue operation. By 10 am Saturday, the first round of rescue efforts had found five trapped individuals, all of whom were confirmed dead.

To ensure no one was left unaccounted for, rescuers expanded the search area, conducting a grid-by-grid sweep of the site and surrounding areas, while cross-checking information related to on-site operations and the company’s actual controller. Subsequent rescue efforts led to the discovery of two additional victims in the deeper sections of the workshop ruins and surrounding areas, per Beijing Daily.

The cause of the explosion is still under investigation, with follow-up handling and support work proceeding simultaneously, CCTV News reported on Saturday.

An explosion at a commercial building in Canby injured one employee and prompted officials to issue a Level 3 (Go Now!) evacuation order for the immediate area on Tuesday night, according to Canby Fire.

The explosion happened at 301 S. Redwood Street shortly after 3:30 p.m. The business there is Kittyhawk Products, which heat treats metal parts under high pressure.

Canby Fire Chief Matt Dale said one of the two tanks the company uses to do that exploded and blew the roof off the building.

He said there is a risk the other tank may explode as well, even though they do not expect that to happen. But the possibility of another explosion means fire officials will keep the evacuation order in place until at least 8 a.m. Wednesday because the second tank will take around 12 to 16 hours to cool. Dale said at that time, they will reevaluate the situation on whether they will lift the evacuation order.

Dale asked for the patience of the evacuated residents. The Red Cross will help those displaced.

Three employees were working at the time of the explosion. Dale said one of the employees suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The explosion heavily damaged the building and caused some damage to nearby buildings.

He said no hazardous materials were released into the environment.

"All and all, minor injuries, no loss of life, property damage can be fixed. This is a very successful outcome for a very devastating situation," Dale said.

He said that everything worked as it should.

Video obtained by KATU News from a security camera of a nearby business showed the building's roof erupting into a brown cloud like a volcano that sent debris flying into the air.

A large piece of what appeared to be metal clattered to the road outside the building. Other pieces could be seen landing in the immediate vicinity. The sound from the explosion was tremendous.

Moments later, people could be seen running toward the damaged building.

WATCH RECORDED VIDEO OF THE SCENE:

Dale said the tanks are placed in an underground pit and are enormous. They are two stories high and about 15 feet in diameter.

The explosion went straight up and caught things inside on fire. Dale said shortly before 7 p.m. that most of the fires had been extinguished.

CAMERON PARISH, Louisiana — One person was hurt when a natural gas pipeline exploded near Holly Beach and Johnson Bayou this morning, according to the Cameron Parish Office of Emergency Preparedness.

One operator at the Delfin LNG pipeline has minor injuries, OEP officials said.

Flames and heavy smoke were seen at the beach south of a compressor station. The fire is under control, but flames may still be visible as it continues to burn out.

Officials said there are no off-site impacts from the explosion.

The pipeline is 28 miles long and connects to a rig offshore. Natural gas was cut off at the rig, and officials are letting the fire burn out.

NASHUA, N.H. -- A natural gas explosion in a building for mental health services in southern New Hampshire sparked a fire on Monday and forced emergency crews to warn nearby residents to evacuate the surrounding area.

The building houses a Greater Nashua Mental Health facility that handles deaf services, new clients, general and older adults, and substance misuse services, according to the center's website.

A state emergency alert went out warning about a potential gas leak after the explosion and urged anyone in the near vicinity to extinguish burners and other flames.

It was not immediately known if anyone was inside the building during the explosion or if any injuries had been reported.

Nashua is in southern New Hampshire, about 45 miles (72 kilometers) north of Boston.

BLANCHARD, Oklahoma — The company behind an oil well blowout earlier this week in Blanchard is reimbursing residents who were affected by the subsequent order to evacuate.

Representatives of Staghorn Oil Company will be at the clubhouse at the Winter Creek Golf Course on Monday, from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. They'll be there to reimburse any out-of-pocket expenses incurred by landowners who were evacuated or lost their power as a result of the blowout itself.

The oil well blowout released natural gas into the air near Blanchard on Thursday.

Families were given the all clear to return to their homes Friday night.

Bill Flores, the interim director of the Grady Co EMA, says crews will continue to work on the site of that blowout for the next 2 weeks to clean the area & ensure there are no further problems.

On the coldest night Florida has seen in years (28 degrees) we woke to the sound of an explosion.
Right across the street, a ground transformer exploded and flames were 7-10’ tall. It was so loud we thought a house exploded.
So our neighborhood is without power- AND NO HEAT into the foreseeable future.
We will check on our elderly neighbor tomorrow. Pray for getting back our power and warmth soon please. 🥶 🌴
