NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana 0151 — The Louisiana National Guard will deploy 350 troops to New Orleans to bolster security around major upcoming events, including New Year’s Eve, the Sugar Bowl, & Mardi Gras, the Guard announced Tuesday.
