My little desert oasis is thriving. I’ve got herbs, a variety of peppers, aloe for both skin care and eating, and chamomile to keep mosquitoes at bay. Lemon and lime trees are growing well, the orange tree is loaded with dozens of small oranges, strawberries will be ready for a second harvest in a week or two, and the melons are flourishing, along with grapes and tomatoes.
I'm experimenting with various types of potatoes, ginger and turmeric in grow bags. All are sprouting now.
