We'll be seeing an uptick in unusual home and business gas explosions and I'm trying to locate specific ZT on the matter. Below is a refresher for the many gas related news articles.

Fault lines, when adjusting, do not just rip apart one day during a dramatic earthquake. They most often creep. Laying gas lines along or across a fault line is asking for an accident of this sort. Fault lines are also seldom so clearly delineated that one can go a mile in this or that direction and avoid their action. Where a slip-slide fault such as the San Andreas will often leave a clear line on the surface, this is only the surface action, not what occurs in the rock layers on either side which can fracture for a long way to either side during any movement. The gas company, or the age of the pipes, will be faulted but in truth the finger should be pointed in many directions. The public, who insist on living at such a scenic spot, is to blame. Officials, who zoned for housing are to blame. The public utility company, for allowing gas lines in the area, is to blame. But this will change nothing, while man continues to live on the San Andreas, even as it awakens. EOZT

The danger from radon gas will not be increased as a result of the pole shift. Radon gas is emitted by rock containing uranium, which is degrading. In normal circumstances, where air can circulate, it is disbursed rapidly as is any methane created by decay of organic material. The danger from these gasses comes from confinement - being trapped in a mine, a basement, or beneath the permafrost. The dangers are well known. For methane, it is explosions. An accumulation of methane gas can be identified by the smell of rotten eggs, or as some have described it, dirty socks or cabbage soup. For radon gas the danger is lung cancer, from the continual exposure to the radioactive air. Radon gas is odorless, and cannot be detected except by specialized equipment not in the hands of the average person.
In that the pole shift, or the Earth changes preceding the pole shift, can fracture rock and release pockets of either gas, survivors should be cautious about huddling in bunkers. You are safer out in the open air, or in a trench you have dug that will allow the pole shift winds to pass over you, but nothing to fall on and crush you. The fact that both methane gas and radon gas can accumulate in the bunkers of the elite is one of the reasons we have stated that they have dug their own graves. EOZT

Anyone watching the news, for instance the news on the San Bruno explosion in a distribution line close to the San Andreas Fault line, knows that gas in any form is a danger. Oil and gas refineries explode when rigid piping cracks. Oil or gas wells explode when the ground around them moves. And the gas distribution lines running under cities are no exception. They likewise will explode. Gas lines, whether along the street or within a home, are rigid. In some cases automatic shutoff valves can limit the amount of gas available for an explosion by sensing a drop in pressure, but this is always after the fact. The explosion has already occurred. Utilizing gas on a planet prone to earthquakes was a mistake to begin with, but man never thinks of the consequences when striving for modern conveniences. We have advised turning off the gas at the street, though when the street explodes and your neighbor's homes are on fire you are not likely to escape the holocaust. A better alternative is to live in an area where gas is not available, as in your rural safe location where you will be doing a form of camping while gardening. A campfire at night, for cooking and washing and a bit of friendly light before bed. Nothing explosive. EOZT

SOZT Answer: It is no accident that the New Madrid fault lies under the Mississippi River near Memphis, as rivers form in lowlands created when land pulls apart, separating the rock fingers and weakening support for the land. Thus, the Ohio River bed also is an indication of where rock fingers will pull apart. Two adjustments in Kentucky, a day apart, are not an accident, but an indication of the speed at which the stretch zone is starting to adjust. Rail lines are frequently an early harbinger of such adjustments, as they run long distances, whereas structures within cities, such as tall buildings, take up relatively little space and have a small footprint. Our warning that imploding cities will be experienced, before the hour of the shift, are in this regard. Be warmed, it will not just be your rail lines and gas and water mains that will shatter and be pulled apart during the stretch. The foundations of your tall buildings will likewise be vulnerable.EOZT

(CNN) -- A gas main explosion in Philadelphia Tuesday evening killed one utilities worker and injured five other people, a fire department official said.
Philadelphia Gas Works employees were responding to a gas main break in the city's Tacony neighborhood when the explosion occurred, fire department spokesman Jim Smith said.
"They were trying to control it and found a source of ignition," according to Smith, who said four PGW employees and a firefighter were among the injured. He said some of the gas workers' injuries were serious.

One person has died and up to 12 people are missing after an explosion destroyed several flats in Jersey.
Emergency services were called to Haut du Mont flats in St Helier just before 4am amid reports of a major incident.
A search and rescue operation is underway in an attempt to find people trapped in the rubble, but the scene is reportedly 'very dangerous'.
Debris was strewn across the street while smoke plumes billowed through the air, as two 'walking wounded' were rushed to hospital.
States of Jersey Police chief officer Robin Smith said: 'Following the explosion this morning at Haut du Mont, Pier Road, a number of residents are still missing.'
He noted the search and rescue operation will likely take 'a number of days', and said the three-storey building had completely collapsed.
'From a demolition point of view, it's like a pancake that has dropped completely down... It is considerable destruction... It is a devastating scene, I regret to say.
'There needs to be a recognition that we could have more fatalities.'
'Emergency services are working at the scene and have commenced a surface search of the site.'
The fire has now been extinguished, but emergency services are still 'carrying out significant work' at the scene, which is cordoned off.
People have been asked to avoid the area.
Locals have also been urged to avoid the hospital's emergency department unless absolutely necessary to ensure the resources can be adequately used to treat victims.
It has not yet been established what caused the explosion, but Jersey's gas supplier, Island Energy, has issued a statement, reading: 'We are working with @JsyFire to understand exactly what has happened.

Video filmed in the city of Chuzhou in Anhui Province on November 3 shows a giant ball of fire and heavy smoke coming out of Jinhe Industrial Co., Ltd.
The fire has been put out and one worker was killed. The cause is being investigated by local authorities.

PAGADIAN CITY — An explosion that occurred just before daybreak on Saturday rocked a local government-owned mall at the city center here.
According to city disaster risk reduction and management officer Richard Fabria, the blast happened around 3:55 a.m. and was traced to the rented space of a Chowking fast-food chain.
The store is located on the ground floor of the City Commercial Center or C3.
The blast damaged the store’s glass walls including that of nearby stalls within the C3 building. There were no reported casualties.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of the explosion as of this reporting.
Business in other parts of the C3 mall is not affected.

LONDON (AP) — The death toll in an explosion at a gas station in a small village in northwest Ireland has risen to nine, police said Saturday, as emergency workers combed piles of rubble for more victims.
Irish police said they did not expect to find more survivors from Friday's explosion in Creeslough, County Donegal. Eight people are in hospitals after a blast tore through the Applegreen service station in the community of about 400 people.
“The search and recovery for further fatalities continues," said the police force, An Garda Siochana. The cause of the blast is under investigation.
Emergency responders from Ireland and neighboring Northern Ireland are involved in what police said was now a “search and recovery” operation. Sniffer dogs combed the debris, and a mechanical digger lifted piles of rubble from the site.
The explosion leveled the gas station building, which holds the main shop and post office for the village, and damaged an adjacent residential building.
Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin said it was one of the “darkest of days for Donegal and the entire country.”
“People across this island will be numbed by the same sense of shock and utter devastation as the people of Creeslough at this tragic loss of life,” Martin said.
Agriculture Minister Charlie McConalogue, who represents Donegal in Ireland's parliament, said the service station was well known across the country because of its prominent position on the main N56 road, and was “the heart” of the local community.
“People are shocked and numbed,” he told Irish broadcaster RTE. “People have been rallying together and everyone’s concern is with the families of those who have lost their loved ones and how they can support them in the days ahead."

One person is dead after an explosion sent eight people to hospitals and caused the collapse... on Tuesday, officials said.
The individual, who was the most seriously injured person in the Tuesday explosion, succumbed to his injuries on Friday, according to a tweet from the Chicago Fire Department.
"He had been taken to Loyola Medical Center with extensive burns," the fire department said.
Firefighters believe that they got everyone out of the collapsed building and that no one was trapped inside, he said.
The building had about 35 units. It was unclear, Ferman said, how many residents were displaced.
The cause of the explosion and the collapse remain under investigation, according to officials.

Three people are dead after a house exploded in southern Indiana, officials said.
Dozens of firefighters responded to the scene in Evansville, after the blast occurred Wednesday afternoon on the 1000 block of North Weinbach Avenue, officials said.
Three deaths have been reported to the Vanderburgh County Coroner's Office as a result of the explosion, Chief Deputy Coroner David Anson said in a statement.
Two of the victims were in the home that exploded, while the third was not, according to Evansville Fire Chief Mike Connelly.
The victims were identified by the coroner's office on Thursday as Charles Hite, 43, and Martina Hite, 37, who both lived in the home, and their next-door neighbor, 29-year-old Jessica Teague.
One person was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Connelly said.
The home where the explosion occurred was destroyed and 39 other structures were "damaged severely or suffered minor damage," Connelly told reporters Wednesday evening. The Knight Township Trustee's Office was among the buildings damaged and will be closed for the foreseeable future, officials said.
According to Evansville's building department, 11 of the 39 homes damaged in the explosion are uninhabitable, Connelly said.
Some 60 firefighters were on the scene assisting, Connelly said.
A 100-foot radius around the blast was not immediately searchable and some buildings were not safe to enter, Connelly said, who noted there could be other victims. Though no additional victims have been found following a search and nobody is unaccounted for at this time, he said on Thursday.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation. Connelly had initially said investigators ruled out an intentional ignition source and believed it to be accidental, though he later retracted that statement.
"The cause is undetermined," he said.
CenterPoint Energy arrived following the blast and "made the scene safe," Connelly said. "There was no detection of gas and they're restoring service now."
Natalie Hedde, a spokesperson for CenterPoint Energy, told reporters there was no work being done in the area at the time of the incident and the company had not received any phone calls "suggesting there was a natural gas emergency."
Continued surveys have shown no indications of natural gas being detected on the outside of the structure, she said.
"At this time we feel confident there are no challenges with CenterPoint Energy's natural gas system," Hedde said.
Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke was on-site surveying the damage.
"There's a big investigation and cleanup effort underway," Winnecke told ABC Evansville affiliate WEHT Wednesday.
An off-duty Evansville police officer reported the explosion, the mayor said.
"It felt like an earthquake," Max Walter, who works near the site of the explosion, told WEHT. "I'm at a loss for words as to the extent of what this is."
"As more information becomes available, the respective agencies investigating will be able to provide more information," the department said.

Transformer explosion in Lexington Center sparks large fire, forces street closures

LEXINGTON, Mass. —
A transformer explosion sparked a multi-alarm fire in the Massachusetts town of Lexington on Monday.
The explosion resulted in a three-alarm fire in the 1700 block of Mass. Avenue, with thick, black smoke pouring into the air.
"I was shaking. I'm still shaking. It was terrifying," said witness Emerson Graf. "We started to hear scratching and little clicking noises and we just looked over and there was this giant explosion. We didn't know what happened. It was just insane. It was so loud."
The transformer fire led to streets in the Lexington Center area being closed to vehicle traffic. Police said they also closed the Minuteman Bikeway.
Lexington fire Chief Derek Sencabaugh said the substation where the transformer explosion happened belongs to Eversource Energy.
An Eversource spokesperson said the fire was reported just before 6 p.m. and that there were no power outages associated with it.
Firefighters poured water on the 16-foot transformer for about an hour, battling both the blaze and high temperatures.
On top of trying to keep the crews as cool as possible, Sencabaugh said another big concern was water getting into the switchers in the basement of the substation. Those switchers are more than 100 years old.
"Because if the water had come up, it would start popping switches, which would then pop manholes down the street. So we, initially, were really starting to push people out of the area," Sencabaugh said.
No injuries were reported in connection with the fire.
The cause of the transformer explosion remains under investigation. Sencabaugh said one possibility could be the high demand for electricity to power air conditioners given the high temperatures and humidity levels over the past several days.

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Officials say nine employees at the Vitro plant in Wichita Falls were transported to the hospital following an explosion.
Wichita County Sheriff David Duke tells our crew that a gas leak occurred inside a portion of the plant. He says the leak was next to a burner which caused an ignition leading to an explosion.
Eight victims were transported by ambulance, while one was transported by Air Evac to United Regional, Duke says.
At this moment, officials say the affected portion of the plant has been evacuated while the Wichita Falls Fire Department monitors the situation.

HAVANA (AP) — A fire set off by a lightning strike at an oil storage facility raged uncontrolled Saturday in the city of Matanzas, where four explosions and flames injured nearly 80 people and left 17 firefighters missing, Cuban authorities said.
Firefighters and other specialists were still trying to quell the blaze at the Matanzas Supertanker Base, where the fire began during a thunderstorm Friday night, the Ministry of Energy and Mines tweeted. The government said later that it had asked for help from international experts in “friendly countries” with experience in the oil sector.
Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernández de Cossío said the U.S. government had offered technical help to quell the blaze. On his Twitter account, he said the “proposal is in the hands of specialists for the due coordination.”
Minutes later, President Miguel Díaz-Canel thanked Mexico , Venezuela, Russia, Nicaragua, Argentina and Chile for their offers of help.
The official Cuban News Agency said lightning hit one tank, starting a fire, and the blaze later spread to a second tank. As military helicopters flew overhead dropping water on the blaze, dense column of black smoke billowed from the facility and spread westward more than 100 kilometers (62 miles) toward Havana.
Roberto de la Torre, head of fire operations in Matanzas, said firefighters were spraying water on intact tanks trying to keep them cool in hopes of preventing the fire from spreading.
The Facebook page of the provincial government of Matanzas said the number of injured had reached 77, while 17 people were missing. The Presidency of the Republic said the 17 were “firefighters who were in the nearest area trying to prevent the spread.”
Seven of the injured were taken to Calixto García Hospital in Havana, which has a prominent burn unit.
The accident comes as Cuba struggles with fuel shortages. There was no immediate word on how much oil had burned or was in danger at the storage facility, which has eight giant tanks that hold oil used to fuel electricity generating plants.
“I was in the gym when I felt the first explosion. A column of smoke and terrible fire rose through the skies,” resident Adiel Gonzalez told The Associated Press by phone. “The city has a strong smell of sulfur.”
Authorities said about 800 people were evacuated from the Dubrocq neighborhood closest to the fire, while Gonzalez added that some people decided to leave the Versailles district, which is a little farther from the tank farm.
Many ambulances, police and fire engines were seen in the streets of Matanzas, a city with about 140,000 inhabitants that is on Matnzas Bay.
Diaz-Canel traveled to the area of the fire early Saturday, officials said.
Local meteorologist Elier Pila showed satellite images of the area with a dense plume of black smoke moving from the point of the fire westward and reaching east to Havana.
“That plume can be close to 150 kilometers long,” Pila wrote on his Twitter account.
