We'll be seeing an uptick in unusual home and business gas explosions and I'm trying to locate specific ZT on the matter.  Below is a refresher for the many gas related news articles.

Fault lines, when adjusting, do not just rip apart one day during a dramatic earthquake. They most often creep. Laying gas lines along or across a fault line is asking for an accident of this sort. Fault lines are also seldom so clearly delineated that one can go a mile in this or that direction and avoid their action. Where a slip-slide fault such as the San Andreas will often leave a clear line on the surface, this is only the surface action, not what occurs in the rock layers on either side which can fracture for a long way to either side during any movement. The gas company, or the age of the pipes, will be faulted but in truth the finger should be pointed in many directions. The public, who insist on living at such a scenic spot, is to blame. Officials, who zoned for housing are to blame. The public utility company, for allowing gas lines in the area, is to blame. But this will change nothing, while man continues to live on the San Andreas, even as it awakens. EOZT

The danger from radon gas will not be increased as a result of the pole shift. Radon gas is emitted by rock containing uranium, which is degrading. In normal circumstances, where air can circulate, it is disbursed rapidly as is any methane created by decay of organic material. The danger from these gasses comes from confinement - being trapped in a mine, a basement, or beneath the permafrost. The dangers are well known. For methane, it is explosions. An accumulation of methane gas can be identified by the smell of rotten eggs, or as some have described it, dirty socks or cabbage soup. For radon gas the danger is lung cancer, from the continual exposure to the radioactive air. Radon gas is odorless, and cannot be detected except by specialized equipment not in the hands of the average person.

In that the pole shift, or the Earth changes preceding the pole shift, can fracture rock and release pockets of either gas, survivors should be cautious about huddling in bunkers. You are safer out in the open air, or in a trench you have dug that will allow the pole shift winds to pass over you, but nothing to fall on and crush you. The fact that both methane gas and radon gas can accumulate in the bunkers of the elite is one of the reasons we have stated that they have dug their own graves. EOZT

Anyone watching the news, for instance the news on the San Bruno explosion in a distribution line close to the San Andreas Fault line, knows that gas in any form is a danger. Oil and gas refineries explode when rigid piping cracks. Oil or gas wells explode when the ground around them moves. And the gas distribution lines running under cities are no exception. They likewise will explode. Gas lines, whether along the street or within a home, are rigid. In some cases automatic shutoff valves can limit the amount of gas available for an explosion by sensing a drop in pressure, but this is always after the fact. The explosion has already occurred. Utilizing gas on a planet prone to earthquakes was a mistake to begin with, but man never thinks of the consequences when striving for modern conveniences. We have advised turning off the gas at the street, though when the street explodes and your neighbor's homes are on fire you are not likely to escape the holocaust. A better alternative is to live in an area where gas is not available, as in your rural safe location where you will be doing a form of camping while gardening. A campfire at night, for cooking and washing and a bit of friendly light before bed. Nothing explosive. EOZT

SOZT Answer: It is no accident that the New Madrid fault lies under the Mississippi River near Memphis, as rivers form in lowlands created when land pulls apart, separating the rock fingers and weakening support for the land. Thus, the Ohio River bed also is an indication of where rock fingers will pull apart. Two adjustments in Kentucky, a day apart, are not an accident, but an indication of the speed at which the stretch zone is starting to adjust. Rail lines are frequently an early harbinger of such adjustments, as they run long distances, whereas structures within cities, such as tall buildings, take up relatively little space and have a small footprint. Our warning that imploding cities will be experienced, before the hour of the shift, are in this regard. Be warmed, it will not just be your rail lines and gas and water mains that will shatter and be pulled apart during the stretch. The foundations of your tall buildings will likewise be vulnerable.EOZT

(CNN) -- A gas main explosion in Philadelphia Tuesday evening killed one utilities worker and injured five other people, a fire department official said.

Philadelphia Gas Works employees were responding to a gas main break in the city's Tacony neighborhood when the explosion occurred, fire department spokesman Jim Smith said.

"They were trying to control it and found a source of ignition," according to Smith, who said four PGW employees and a firefighter were among the injured. He said some of the gas workers' injuries were serious.

Underground Explosions Rock Center City

Two separate underground blasts caused at least one manhole cover to blow off and Philadelphia Police to block off a major intersection this morning.

The first transformer exploded around 3 a.m. Friday at 15th and Market Streets in Center City.

As officers investigated the first blast, they saw the second one occur at 15th and Market. After the manhole cover blew off, smoke could be seen coming from the hole, according to officers on the scene.

Philadelphia Firefighters got the situation under control after about an hour. And PECO crews were on the scene since they own the two transformers that caught fire.

Luckily no one was hurt.

Police blocked off the intersection and surrounding roads and sidewalks as the investigation continued. SEPTA also detoured buses around the scene and the trolley lines were bypassing the 15th Street stop.

Those restrictions were slowly lifted and by 5:15 a.m. traffic was getting by on Market Street and some lanes along 15th Street near City Hall. The incident was mostly cleared by the morning rush.

No power outages were reported, according to PECO.

Blast in Athens Suburb After Suspected Gas Leak

May 15 2014

The Athens suburb of Nea Erythraia was rocked by an explosion at 03.41am, in a local restaurant. - 

The restaurant was completely destroyed by the explosion. Miraculously, there were no casualties in the apartment just above the restaurant, or in the adjoining apartments.

The blast damaged at least five cars and shattered many windows nearby, but its cause is not yet clear. Initial estimates suggest leaking propane gas cylinders.

The explosion sparked a fire, which 18 firemen with six vehicles were able to contain quickly.

 A miner has died and more than 200 miners have been trapped inside a mine in the western Turkish province of Manisa following a malfunction at an electrical transformer nearby late on May 13, 2014.

 

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — An explosion and fire at a coal mine in western Turkey killed at least five people Tuesday and trapped hundreds of workers underground, Turkish officials said. At least 25 people were reported alive after being rescued.

A power distribution unit at a mine in the town of Soma exploded Tuesday afternoon, Soma administrator Mehmet Bahattin Atci told reporters. The town is 250 kilometers (155 miles) south of Istanbul.

Atci said between 200 to 300 workers were trapped inside the mine.

Cengiz Ergun, the mayor for Manisa province, said the death toll stood at five and that at least 25 people were evacuated alive.

Private NTV television said the accident occurred some 2 kilometers (1 1/4 miles) deep inside the mine.

"It is a serious accident," Energy Minister Taner Yildiz told reporters before leaving to oversee the Soma rescue operation. "Our priority is to reach our miner brothers ... any figure we give could well be wrong."

Yildiz said rescuers were pumping fresh air into the mine and rescue teams from neighboring regions were rushing to the area. Journalists were being kept away from the site but a witness told NTV that ambulances were seen leaving the area.

Families gathered outside the hospital in Soma seeking news of their loves ones, NTV reported.

SOMA Komur Isletmeleri A.S., which owns the mine, confirmed that a number of its workers were killed but did not say how many. It said the accident occurred despite "highest safety measures and constant controls" and an investigation was being launched.

"Our main priority is to get our workers out so that they may be reunited with their loved ones," the company said in a statement.

Mining accidents are common in Turkey, which is plagued by poor safety conditions.

Turkey's worst mining disaster was a 1992 gas explosion that killed 263 workers near the Black Sea port of Zonguldak..

Number of wounded in Russia's Far East house gas explosion rises to nine

Nine people have been injured in a household gas explosion that triggered a fire at a five-story residential house in the Russian Far Eastern city of Khabarovsk. They were taken to territorial hospital number two and hospital number ten, the emergency situation department in Khabarovsk Territory said.

"The household gas explosion that triggered a fire damaged four flats on the first floor and two flats on the second floor at a residential house at 14-a, Professor Danilovsky Street. The open fire was put out at 1.00pm local time at the residential house," the Khabarovsk territorial emergency situation department said.

Eyewitnesses of the gas blast said that the explosion went off in a flat on the first floor. The eyewitness said that a fitter with an angle grinder was working at the entrance right before the blast.

The Khabarovsk territorial police department stated earlier that a district police officer from the 11th city police station who was among the first to come to the incident site was injured. A policeman has got hand burns and light concussion.

Gas explosion in NW Iran leaves 9 kids dead & injured

Due to an explosion in Mahabad in northwestern Iran left nine kids dead & injured, the state-run IRNA news agency reported. Head of the regime’s fire department in this city said this incident took place in the employees’ complex from gas leaking in a home. When this incident occurred a group of kids were playing around the area and when the walls of a building collapsed the kids were trapped underneath the rubble. Two of the kids, aged 10 and 12, died at the scene and seven others were injured.

Fire and multiple small explosions reported at New Jersey resin plant; no injuries reported

WEST BERLIN TOWNSHIP, New Jersey — A fire and several small explosions have been reported at a chemical manufacturing company in Southern New Jersey.

Fire crews are battling a blaze that started around 2 p.m. Thursday at ResinTech, a plant in West Berlin that makes resin. No injuries have been reported.

Berlin Township Police Chief Leonard Check tells Philadelphia television station NBC10 that investigators believe the explosions were likely the result of the ignition of chemicals stored inside the building.

Fire officials say workers at the site were all safely evacuated.

The company's website says it manufactures ion exchange resins which are used in water softening and water treatment.

 An immense explosion has been heard throughout the northern Iranian city of Qazvin, semi-official Fars news agency reported, and many casualties are expected from the blast. Around 1.1 million people live in the city, which is located about 100 miles north of Tehran. The blast may be related to nuclear development in Iran, according to the Los Angeles Times. Iranian officials in the past have strongly denied claims by Mujahedin Khalq Organization, or MKO, a cult-like Iranian exile group, that it has a secret nuclear enrichment facility in Abyek, near the major city, according to the daily. The source of the blast remains undetermined. Several mystery explosions have been reported in the past several years in the region, none of which were ever verified. A fire has now broken out in the city, local reports say, and as many as 50 people are injured. State media blames an oil depot for the blast. State news agency IRNA reports that firefighters are on the scene. "Firefighters are trying to prevent the spread of the fire at a car oil storage facility," Ali Mohammad Ahani, the director general of Qazvin governor's disaster management authority, stated. Ahani added that no reports of casualties have been recorded.

Details: Ladder-9 and Engine 24 were dispatched for an alarm system in an apartment building on the block. They arrived on scene and requested a battalion chief due to a unusual odor. Battalion chief 4 requested the electric company and gas company to respond for street lights flickering and high levels of CO in the apartment building. Companies began evacuating the apartment building and homes on the block. At some point there was an explosion of a building. B/C-4 struck the box and placed all hands in service with heaviest water lines. Deputy-1 requested the collapse unit to the scene. Command requested the second alarm and third alarms for fire in several homes.
Several civilians suffered minor injuries.

Escambia County Jail in Pensacola, Florida, Hit by Deadly Blast

At least two inmates died and more than 150 other people were injured when an apparent gas explosion collapsed part of a county jail in the Florida panhandle late Wednesday, officials said.

The blast occurred at the Escambia County Jail's Central Booking Facility in Pensacola at around 11 p.m. local time (midnight Thursday ET), officials said.

Kathleen Castro, the county’s public information officer, confirmed the deaths to NBC News and said that both prisoners and corrections officials were among the wounded.

A victim of an apparent explosion at the Escambia County Jail is loaded into an ambulance early Thursday.

About 600 prisoners were in the building at the time. Uninjured inmates were being moved to other detention facilities, authorities added.

James McLean, who works at the Circle K gas station just a few hundred feet away, said the blast felt like an earthquake.

“There was a big flash that lit up the whole sky and the whole area shook for what felt like a good five seconds,” he told NBC News.

The injured were transported to five local hospitals for treatment.

West Florida Hospital took in 37 patients with "very minor, non-life-threatening" injuries, according to a spokesman.

"All of them have been seen in our ER, treated, and released back into custody,” Kendrick Doidge told NBC News.

Sacred Heart Hospital said it treated 31 patients with minor injuries such as abrasions and neck pain.

Baptist Hospital and Gulf Breeze Hospital saw a combined 81 patients, according to Liz Branch, spokeswoman for Baptist Health Care, while Naval Hospital Pensacola confirmed it saw six patients with minor injuries.

Primary and secondary sweeps of the facility were completed by 1:15 a.m. local time (2:15 a.m. ET) but search and rescue crews were continuing to work in the building, according to officials.

Pensacola had been hit by severe floods earlier in the day.

A memo e-mailed to the Pensacola City Council said that "preliminary investigations indicate that the laundry room flooded and may have been leaking gas which [was] not reported yesterday."
