We'll be seeing an uptick in unusual home and business gas explosions and I'm trying to locate specific ZT on the matter.  Below is a refresher for the many gas related news articles.

Fault lines, when adjusting, do not just rip apart one day during a dramatic earthquake. They most often creep. Laying gas lines along or across a fault line is asking for an accident of this sort. Fault lines are also seldom so clearly delineated that one can go a mile in this or that direction and avoid their action. Where a slip-slide fault such as the San Andreas will often leave a clear line on the surface, this is only the surface action, not what occurs in the rock layers on either side which can fracture for a long way to either side during any movement. The gas company, or the age of the pipes, will be faulted but in truth the finger should be pointed in many directions. The public, who insist on living at such a scenic spot, is to blame. Officials, who zoned for housing are to blame. The public utility company, for allowing gas lines in the area, is to blame. But this will change nothing, while man continues to live on the San Andreas, even as it awakens. EOZT

The danger from radon gas will not be increased as a result of the pole shift. Radon gas is emitted by rock containing uranium, which is degrading. In normal circumstances, where air can circulate, it is disbursed rapidly as is any methane created by decay of organic material. The danger from these gasses comes from confinement - being trapped in a mine, a basement, or beneath the permafrost. The dangers are well known. For methane, it is explosions. An accumulation of methane gas can be identified by the smell of rotten eggs, or as some have described it, dirty socks or cabbage soup. For radon gas the danger is lung cancer, from the continual exposure to the radioactive air. Radon gas is odorless, and cannot be detected except by specialized equipment not in the hands of the average person.

In that the pole shift, or the Earth changes preceding the pole shift, can fracture rock and release pockets of either gas, survivors should be cautious about huddling in bunkers. You are safer out in the open air, or in a trench you have dug that will allow the pole shift winds to pass over you, but nothing to fall on and crush you. The fact that both methane gas and radon gas can accumulate in the bunkers of the elite is one of the reasons we have stated that they have dug their own graves. EOZT

Anyone watching the news, for instance the news on the San Bruno explosion in a distribution line close to the San Andreas Fault line, knows that gas in any form is a danger. Oil and gas refineries explode when rigid piping cracks. Oil or gas wells explode when the ground around them moves. And the gas distribution lines running under cities are no exception. They likewise will explode. Gas lines, whether along the street or within a home, are rigid. In some cases automatic shutoff valves can limit the amount of gas available for an explosion by sensing a drop in pressure, but this is always after the fact. The explosion has already occurred. Utilizing gas on a planet prone to earthquakes was a mistake to begin with, but man never thinks of the consequences when striving for modern conveniences. We have advised turning off the gas at the street, though when the street explodes and your neighbor's homes are on fire you are not likely to escape the holocaust. A better alternative is to live in an area where gas is not available, as in your rural safe location where you will be doing a form of camping while gardening. A campfire at night, for cooking and washing and a bit of friendly light before bed. Nothing explosive. EOZT

SOZT Answer: It is no accident that the New Madrid fault lies under the Mississippi River near Memphis, as rivers form in lowlands created when land pulls apart, separating the rock fingers and weakening support for the land. Thus, the Ohio River bed also is an indication of where rock fingers will pull apart. Two adjustments in Kentucky, a day apart, are not an accident, but an indication of the speed at which the stretch zone is starting to adjust. Rail lines are frequently an early harbinger of such adjustments, as they run long distances, whereas structures within cities, such as tall buildings, take up relatively little space and have a small footprint. Our warning that imploding cities will be experienced, before the hour of the shift, are in this regard. Be warmed, it will not just be your rail lines and gas and water mains that will shatter and be pulled apart during the stretch. The foundations of your tall buildings will likewise be vulnerable.EOZT

(CNN) -- A gas main explosion in Philadelphia Tuesday evening killed one utilities worker and injured five other people, a fire department official said.

Philadelphia Gas Works employees were responding to a gas main break in the city's Tacony neighborhood when the explosion occurred, fire department spokesman Jim Smith said.

"They were trying to control it and found a source of ignition," according to Smith, who said four PGW employees and a firefighter were among the injured. He said some of the gas workers' injuries were serious.

Blast at Total's Gonfreville refinery injures five

PARIS, Oct 24 (Reuters) - French oil and gas company Total said on Monday that a gas leak at its 247,000 barrels-per-day Gonfreville refinery in Normandy had caused an explosion that injured five workers.

The blast in northern France occurred during a scheduled maintenance work on a gas compressor, Total said, adding that emergency services were on site to contain the gas leak and fire.

"There is no risk of it spreading within or outside the site," Total said in a statement.

A union official at the site told Reuters that it was still unclear what had sparked the explosion.

"There were some workers in the vicinity and five of them were hit by the detonation," a union official said, adding that units feeding to the pipe were being shut down while firefighters try to contain the flames.

Noblesville Home Destroyed in Natural Gas Explosion

Happened Sunday Afternoon in the Turnberry at the Park Housing Development

Oct. 24, 2016

NOBLESVILLE -- A natural gas explosion destroyed a home under construction in Noblesville Sunday afternoon.

The house is in a development called Turnberry at The Park near 166th Street and Summer Road. The Noblesville Fire Department was dispatched to the area shortly after noon.

Nearby neighbors said they heard a large explosion that shook their homes and rattled windows.

Noblesville Fire Investigator, Division Chief Rick Russell, confirmed that damage to the home was caused by a natural gas explosion. All utilities to the home were shut off to avoid any further danger.

No one was hurt and there was no construction going on in the area at the time of the explosion.

This is one of two homes in the area.  The other house does not appear to have been damaged. The home is a total loss with damage estimated at $300,000.

At least three people died and 13 were injured after a powerful gas explosion ripped through a block of flats in the Russian city of Ryazan. The blast ripped through several floors, practically destroying flats and raining concrete blocks on cars parked below.

“A total of 16 people were injured, three of whom died, while 13 needed medical care. Four were hospitalized, and outpatient care was provided to nine others,” TASS news agency was told by the local branch of Russia’s Emergencies and Disaster Response service.

Earlier reports suggested 16 people were injured and three had died.

Photos and videos of the devastated apartment block in Ryazan, a city some 200 kilometers southeast of Moscow, emerged early Sunday, with the incident taking place late at night.

Police say they are investigating the circumstances of the blast, which is thought to be a likely household gas explosion.

Three of the 16 people injured were found in their flats, the Russian Emergencies Ministry said, adding that a child was among the injured.

At least 60 people had to be placed in a nearby school as a temporary shelter as experts are assessing the damage dealt to the building.

Portland, Oregon, bagel shop gas explosion injures seven

Oct 19 (Reuters) - Three firefighters, three civilians and a police officer were injured on Wednesday after a natural gas leak caused an explosion at a bagel shop in Portland, Oregon, Portland Fire & Rescue said.

The explosion, which destroyed the Portland Bagelworks restaurant, triggered a four-alarm fire that sent a large plume of black smoke into the air. Nearby businesses in the trendy shopping area were also damaged.

No fatalities were reported from the blast and the injuries were not life threatening, said Lieutenant Rich Chatman of Portland Fire & Rescue.

Two of the firefighters sustained broken legs, one requiring immediate surgery, Chatman said.

About 100 firefighters were on the scene of the fire putting out hot spots, Chatman said.

Structural engineers as well agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives were on the scene investigating, he said.

Those in the immediate vicinity of the explosion were asked to shelter in place following the blast.

Melissa Moore, a spokeswoman for utility company NW Natural said gas had been shut off for about 115 customers in the area. Portland General Electric said about 2,300 people in the area were without power.

The incident began when a contractor hit a NW Natural gas line, prompting an evacuation of the building. When crews started to respond the leaking gas ignited, causing the explosion, Moore said.

It is unclear what ignited the blast.

An explosion which completely demolished two homes and left 15 others damaged in Paterson, New Jersey this morning is reported to have been caused by a gas leak. The explosion came just as emergency responders were investigating a gas leak in the area and about to evacuate the community.

Officials reported that the explosion occurred at 9:24 a.m. in a three-story home at 16 Goshen Street in Paterson. Authorities said that the explosion leveled two homes while a third home will have to be torn down and the possibility exists that two others may be in similar circumstances once the debris has been cleared. According to New York Daily, the blast from the explosion could be felt blocks away and but the most incredulous fact to emerge from the incident is that no one was hurt as the explosions shook the New Jersey neighborhood.

Paterson Fire Chief Michael Postorino said that the aftermath did cause 15 firefighters to be taken to the hospital however, each injured due to the noise caused by the ear-ringing explosion and while majority of the firefighters were only suffering from swelling in their ears, four of them had to be treated for ruptured eardrums. None of the residents suffered any form of injuries.

The firefighters had been in the midst of a “rapid evacuation” of the neighborhood after they responded to the reports of a gas leak and undoubtedly this process is the reason why there was not a very different outcome of that early morning explosion. The firefighters responded to the Goshen home reports of gas leak at 9 a.m. and according to Chief Postorino those at the scene could literally hear the sound of the gas as it leaked and this is what let them know the severity of the leak and that an evacuation had to take place.

“They could hear the gas hissing out. We knew by the hissing we could hear, that obviously there was a high level of gas leak.”

Three killed in explosion in China

The explosion is suspected to have been caused by a gas leak.

Dozens of people have been injured, four seriously, in an explosion near the southern Spanish city of Malaga, reports say.

The blast is said to have been caused by a gas cylinder in a cafe in the town of Velez-Malaga. One report said more than 70 people had been hurt.

Pictures from the scene show severe damage to a cafe and debris strewn across a street.

Police have sealed off the area, local media report.

The blast is believed to have happened during a festival.

A huge explosion has rocked the centre of the Hungarian capital Budapest sparking fears of a terror attack.

At least two people are believed to have been injured with a large police presence at the city's Oktogon intersection.

Reports say the blast may have been caused by a gas leak, but this has not officially been confirmed.

Footage from the scene shows a queue of police cars rushing down the street with terrified people running in the other direction.

Cops have cordoned off a large area around a shop at the corner of Kiraly Utca (King Street) and buildings have been evacuated.

A Brit at the scene Owain Brown told the Mirror he could see at least five bodies lying on the floor "motionless".

"Hopefully they were in shock or something," he said.

"There is no building damage or cars outside damaged. Just glass from apartment block. I'm Staying 200m from it."

A queue of up to 30 police cars and other security vehicles were photographed streaming through the streets.

Footage posted online showed fragments of broken blast strewn on street across the centre. There are no reports of fire.

The explosion reportedly took place in one of the buildings of King Street and Teresa Boulevard standing at the crossroads on the ground floor.

Those injured were rushed to the hospital in ambulances.

Firefighters reportedly examined the building where the blast took place and are working to secure the site.

Gas explosion in residential building in Iran kills 6

TEHRAN, Iran –  Iran's official IRNA news agency says a gas explosion in a residential building has killed six people and wounded 11.

The Wednesday report says the explosion in the southeastern city of Ahvaz destroyed four units in the building and damaged neighboring homes.

Authorities have blamed a string of recent accidental explosions on disregard of safety regulations. Earlier this month, a blast in an upholstery foam factory in the southern Iranian city of Shiraz killed one person and injured five others.
