We'll be seeing an uptick in unusual home and business gas explosions and I'm trying to locate specific ZT on the matter. Below is a refresher for the many gas related news articles.

Fault lines, when adjusting, do not just rip apart one day during a dramatic earthquake. They most often creep. Laying gas lines along or across a fault line is asking for an accident of this sort. Fault lines are also seldom so clearly delineated that one can go a mile in this or that direction and avoid their action. Where a slip-slide fault such as the San Andreas will often leave a clear line on the surface, this is only the surface action, not what occurs in the rock layers on either side which can fracture for a long way to either side during any movement. The gas company, or the age of the pipes, will be faulted but in truth the finger should be pointed in many directions. The public, who insist on living at such a scenic spot, is to blame. Officials, who zoned for housing are to blame. The public utility company, for allowing gas lines in the area, is to blame. But this will change nothing, while man continues to live on the San Andreas, even as it awakens. EOZT

The danger from radon gas will not be increased as a result of the pole shift. Radon gas is emitted by rock containing uranium, which is degrading. In normal circumstances, where air can circulate, it is disbursed rapidly as is any methane created by decay of organic material. The danger from these gasses comes from confinement - being trapped in a mine, a basement, or beneath the permafrost. The dangers are well known. For methane, it is explosions. An accumulation of methane gas can be identified by the smell of rotten eggs, or as some have described it, dirty socks or cabbage soup. For radon gas the danger is lung cancer, from the continual exposure to the radioactive air. Radon gas is odorless, and cannot be detected except by specialized equipment not in the hands of the average person.
In that the pole shift, or the Earth changes preceding the pole shift, can fracture rock and release pockets of either gas, survivors should be cautious about huddling in bunkers. You are safer out in the open air, or in a trench you have dug that will allow the pole shift winds to pass over you, but nothing to fall on and crush you. The fact that both methane gas and radon gas can accumulate in the bunkers of the elite is one of the reasons we have stated that they have dug their own graves. EOZT

Anyone watching the news, for instance the news on the San Bruno explosion in a distribution line close to the San Andreas Fault line, knows that gas in any form is a danger. Oil and gas refineries explode when rigid piping cracks. Oil or gas wells explode when the ground around them moves. And the gas distribution lines running under cities are no exception. They likewise will explode. Gas lines, whether along the street or within a home, are rigid. In some cases automatic shutoff valves can limit the amount of gas available for an explosion by sensing a drop in pressure, but this is always after the fact. The explosion has already occurred. Utilizing gas on a planet prone to earthquakes was a mistake to begin with, but man never thinks of the consequences when striving for modern conveniences. We have advised turning off the gas at the street, though when the street explodes and your neighbor's homes are on fire you are not likely to escape the holocaust. A better alternative is to live in an area where gas is not available, as in your rural safe location where you will be doing a form of camping while gardening. A campfire at night, for cooking and washing and a bit of friendly light before bed. Nothing explosive. EOZT

SOZT Answer: It is no accident that the New Madrid fault lies under the Mississippi River near Memphis, as rivers form in lowlands created when land pulls apart, separating the rock fingers and weakening support for the land. Thus, the Ohio River bed also is an indication of where rock fingers will pull apart. Two adjustments in Kentucky, a day apart, are not an accident, but an indication of the speed at which the stretch zone is starting to adjust. Rail lines are frequently an early harbinger of such adjustments, as they run long distances, whereas structures within cities, such as tall buildings, take up relatively little space and have a small footprint. Our warning that imploding cities will be experienced, before the hour of the shift, are in this regard. Be warmed, it will not just be your rail lines and gas and water mains that will shatter and be pulled apart during the stretch. The foundations of your tall buildings will likewise be vulnerable.EOZT

Another gas explosion in Venezuela
Reuters
7:19 PM CDT, October 2, 2012
CARACAS, Oct 2 (Reuters) - An explosion at a gas well in
Venezuela injured four people on Tuesday in the latest accident
to hit the energy industry in the South American OPEC nation,
state oil company PDVSA said.
PDVSA said in a statement that the workers were stable in
hospital after the blast, which was caused by a leak at the
Petrourdaneta project in western Venezuela's Zulia state.
On Aug. 25 a gas leak caused an explosion at the country's
biggest oil refinery, Amuay, which killed 42 people, wounded
dozens more and damaged some 1,600 homes in the
area.
On Sept. 20 a lightning strike set fire to fuel storage
tanks at another refinery, El Palito, but no one was hurt.

Three Killed in Pertamina Pipeline Explosion
Thursday, 04 October, 2012 | 15:19 WIB
TEMPO Interactive, Palembang:Three were killed and dozens injured when an oil pipeline exploded at the Tempino-Plaju distribution channel in the Bayung Lencir district of South Sumatra on Wednesday.
The incident was confirmed by Robert MV, the External Relation Assistant Manager of state-owned oil and gas firm Pertaminas South Sumatra Marketing Unit. Three people were killed based on the first report. The victims were taken to a hospital in Jambi, said Robert on Wednesday, October 3. Other information gathered mentioned that the explosion injured 40 others.
According to Robert, that crude oil pipeline was operated by national oil-drilling company Elnusa. However, his group is going to investigate that incident. This pipeline was under supervision and operation of national oil-drilling company Elnusa.
It had been reported previously that the Upstream Oil and Gas Regulator (BP Migas) urged the owner of Tempino pipeline to improve the security so that crude oil theft cases can be prevented. State-owned oil and gas firm Pertamina EP (limited) admitted to having suffered a loss of 39 thousand barrels of crude oil in May 2012 whereas in June, losses increased to more than 59 thousand barrels in one month. It was caused by the looting of crude oil at Tempino-Plaju pipeline in Jambi and South Sumatera which is increasingly concerned.
South Sumatra Regional Police Spokesperson, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant R. Djarod Padakova confirmed that fire incident. However, he has not been able to ensure the the number of victims who died.

MEXICO CITY -- At least 26 oil workers were killed Tuesday and several dozen injured in a huge explosion and fire along a natural gas pipeline in northeastern Mexico, officials said.
Officials with Petroleos Mexicanos, or Pemex, the state-owned oil giant, said they were investigating the cause of the explosion, which ripped through a distribution plant, sent orange flames into the sky and forced temporary evacuations of parts of the area in Tamaulipas state, which borders Texas.
Pemex initially said 10 people were killed and 40 injured. Later, via its Twitter account, the company raised the death toll to 26. It did not update the number of wounded but said four of the dead worked for Pemex and 22 worked for contractors. It was not clear if that included foreign companies.
Pemex's vast operations in Tamaulipas, a violent state dominated by drug cartels, have suffered thefts of gas and oil and the kidnappings of numerous workers.

CEBU CITY (Updated) -- Residents of Sitio Paglaum in Barangay Calamba, this city, were going about their routine on Thursday afternoon when they heard an explosion.
Seconds later, they saw flames entering their homes. Ten people were hurt after a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank exploded in a junkshop in their neighborhood, with at least one victim in critical condition.
Six houses made of light materials were also damaged when the explosion resulted in a fire, with flames reaching houses located several meters from the junkshop.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Central Visayas received the alarm at 2:55 p.m., shortly after three auto LPG tanks were delivered to the junk shop owned by Joel Ramos.
Of the three tanks, one exploded.
The tank exploded after the junk shop worker, Carlito Tampon, 24, tried to remove its regulator.
The tanks were confiscated by the BFP. Tampon is in critical condition as his entire body was burned during the explosion.
Nine others suffered minor burns. Six of them are children.
The victims were Christian Labiste; Bianca Rama, 8; Kimberly Labistre, 4; Mico Temblor, 7; Angel Montemayor, 5; Gwendolyn Montemayor, 7; Jermalyn Labistre, 5; and Herminia Temblor, 26.
The victims were rushed to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Hospital, but Herminia Temblor and her son Mico decided to go home after complaining that they were not entertained in the hospital.
Herminia and Mico suffered minor burns on their arms and legs, which they treated with a cream to ease the pain.
She said that she was attending to her sari-sari store when she noticed the flames coming toward them.
“We hid in the corner but the fire still caught us,” she said in Bisaya.
SFO2 Emiliano Daño said they have to investigate the incident further and see who will be held liable.
Erlinda Rama, 45, said they were just watching television when the flames reached their house. Her two granddaughters were injured.
We just heard an explosion and the next thing we knew, the flames entered the house, Rama said.
Daño said that as of Thursday, the damage was estimated to be only P1,000, but they have to assess again today, Friday, the extent of the damage.
BFP Central Visayas also has to consolidate their data and check if there were other people injured.
Ramos, the owner of the junk shop, said he was not there when the incident happened. He said his shop usually does not accept gas tanks because these pose danger to the public.

One man is injured in thunderous explosion Monday night in condo near Barrington Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard.
Natural gas that seeped from one condominium into another caused an explosion in a two-story building in West Los Angeles, slightly injuring a man, authorities said today.
The blast happened around 10:10 p.m. Monday in a condominium in an 18- unit building at 1535 S. Granville Ave., said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Two men in a second-story unit had just finished cooking when they noticed the smell of gas in their kitchen, he said.
They were unable to locate the source of the odor, and moments later, after one of them had left the room, a "thunderous but fire-free explosion occurred behind the stove, fully toppling the appliance as well as a refrigerator nearby, and causing significant damage to walls within the kitchen and adjacent room,'' Humphrey said.
The man who was standing near the stove suffered a lacerated leg while the other was uninjured, he said. Both declined to be transported to a hospital.
Firefighters determined the leak came from a gas-fed fireplace in the unit below, Humphrey said. The gas collected in the upstairs wall space and was somehow ignited, he said.
A Southern California Gas Company representative determined the hazard had been abated, and a city Department of Building and Safety inspector deemed the affected condominium and the rest of the building safe for occupancy, Humphrey said.

A gas explosion at a coal mine in southwest China has trapped 50 miners underground, state media said Wednesday, in the latest mining disaster to hit the country.
A worker walks through a mine in Sichuan in 2009. A gas explosion at a coal mine in southwest China has trapped 50 miners underground, state media said Wednesday, in the latest mining disaster to hit the country.
The blast occurred late Wednesday afternoon in Panzhihua city in Sichuan province, the official Xinhua news agency said.
Rescue efforts were now underway, it added.
China's mines are known for being among the world's most deadly due to lax regulation, corruption and inefficiency, and accidents are common as safety is often neglected by bosses seeking quick profits.
Rapid economic growth has caused China's demand for energy, including coal, to surge. The world's second-biggest economy is the top global consumer of coal.
In April, nine miners were killed and 16 injured in a blast at a colliery in northern China's Inner Mongolia region.
