Deformed tracks clearly visible at site of Winnebago derailment - this is why derailments happen!
NEW MILFORD (WIFR) -- A scary situation in southern Winnebago County this afternoon after a train leaves the tracks in New Milford.
No injuries were reported when four out of five cars on a Canadian Pacific Freight train derailed around two this afternoon, just south of Baxter Road near 11th Street.
The train was carrying agricultural materials. No hazardous materials were on board and no fuel leaks have been reported.
