Way Kanan, Lampung (ANTARA News) - Some areas in the District of Way Kanan, Lampung Province, re-experiencing flooding due to heavy rain which fell on Tuesday around 17:00 am until 20:56 pm.

Heavy rain caused flash floods in several parts of S'pore

SINGAPORE: Flash floods were reported in several parts of Singapore on Tuesday after heavy rains in the afternoon.

According to PUB's facebook page, affected roads included parts of Upper Paya Lebar, Lorong Ah Soo and the Junction of Mt Vernon Road/Bartley Road and several areas in Tampines.

A Channel NewsAsia viewer Lim Jo Ket sent in a footage taken at Tampines Street 44.

When the news team arrived at the scene, Mr Lim was still clearing water from his shop.

He said water entered his shop at around 4pm and reached around ankle height.

Other shops in the area were also affected by the heavy rain.

He said the situation has been particularly bad in the past few days. "Every day heavy rain, our shop will be flooded because the drain is very small. Last month and today, our flood is quite heavy, so our stocks are all damaged, so we don't know what to do.".

Heavy floods in northern Haiti

Heavy rains falling in Haiti for two days caused severe flooding in Northern department, where at least six cities are flooded and 700 people were evacuated, officials said.

The municipalities of San Rafael, Cap Haitien, Port Margot, Petite Ance, Borgne, Kolezon are practically under water, said the department's regional delegate, Yvon Alteon.

According to the local agency Haiti Press Network, several rivers are overflowing and have penetrated into the houses and destroyed crops.

Although no deaths reported so far, the Directorate for Civil Protection reported that a team works on counting the damage.

In late March the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported that about 65,000 victims of the January 2010 earthquake are threatened by flooding.

Floods caused by two days of rain in Haiti have caused six deaths and 700 people displaced, the UN said Tuesday.

Two people died in a landslide in the area of Limbe and two drowned while trying to cross a river. Two bodies were pulled from the water near the coastal town of Anse-a-Foleur.

The deaths occurred in the north and northwest, said in a statement the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Aid.

The floods also damaged 125 homes, crops and livestock.

The rains that began on April 8 displaced 700 people, 68 of which were moved to shelters.

Last month, six people died in the capital due to landslides caused by rainfall.

 The ground is sinking and buckling so there is flooding due to rivers not draining properly or sea water intrusion

The earth wobble ( Explaining the Earth Wobble )caused by the presence of Planet X causes the plates to move (  7 of 10 Sequence  )which causes the earthquakes and the sinking

And the establishment comes up with all sorts of lies to cover this up so they can save themselves

Why is Brickland Road canal filled when there wasn't rain in the area?

 

 

 

STOMPer Christina was surprised to find the canal along Brickland Road filled to the quarter-mark when she was jogging there, as there was no rain in the area.
