I downloaded the monthly quake data for the central US and found a new rise in quakes around the beginning of 2020. The result can be seen in the chart above.
This new growth from 2020 is also visible in the USGS chart above. Keep in mind that 2022 is not over yet.
"18 October, 2022. Mississippi River hits all-time low water record in Memphis

At 8 P.M. on Tuesday, October 18, the Mississippi River water level gauge in Memphis officially hit a new all-time low record water level of -10.79 feet.
Tuesday’s mark broke the previous cd low of -10.70 feet which was set on July 10, 1988.
That July was the first, and previously only, time in Mississippi River history to record a double-digit negative number on the Memphis gauge unit."

"20 October, 2022. Mississippi River hits record low levels
https://edition.cnn.com/2022/10/22/weather/mississippi-river-low-le...
Though the low level of the Mississipi this year is unprecedented in modern history, it’s normal, however, to see lower levels in the mighty river at this time of year, around areas such as Memphis. To be sure, during late summer and early fall, the waters can run low after hot and dry summers.
Previously, the low-level record at Memphis was at -10.7 feet on July 10, 1988. Later, two other record lows happened on August 30, 2006, and September 19, 2012.
The 2022 level of the Mississippi’s water is, significantly, the lowest anyone has seen since records began being kept in 1954."
