Altering Earthquakes:

ZetaTalk Aug 7, 2010

As of late, I have observed that USGS and EMSC are a bit lax on their reports of earthquakes. Sometimes not seeing anything reported for hours from the last update, or seeing periods of 90-200 minutes with no earthquakes in between. My question is, are they leaving swarms of earthquakes out of their reports, or there are actually periods of no earthquakes?

SOZT:   Greater than 90% of the earthquake activity is being altered by the USGS at present, which is under orders to prevent any clue being given to the public about the Earth changes caused by the presence of Planet X. Over a decade ago, the approach was to de-sensitize the live seismographs periodically, so the displays do not turn black worldwide, and to ignore the twice-a-day patterns showing up on these seismographs. Then any quakes that could be dropped were dropped. This was obvious to some who were watching the database manipulation. Quakes in the list would suddenly disappear. This was particularly the case where a quake happened in a remote location, or out in the ocean. Dumbing down the magnitude quickly followed, but in order to ensure the public did not notice, the USGS took control of all websites reporting quake statistics. At times, this control breaks, and discrepancies are reported to the public. Some countries rebel. Quake swarms are another source of control, as they pepper the databases with many quakes and skew the statistics, and thus are pulled from the database. Else the question is raised, why so many?   EOZT

Will the USGS internet system be a reliable warning system for the European tsunami by registering on the net the New Madrid earthquake on the exact time it occurs?

SOZT:   It will not be a lack of information from the USGS that will be the point of confusion during the earthquakes leading up to the New Madrid adjustment, it will be knowing which quake is the big one vs the many minor quakes preceding it. The USGS downgrades almost all earthquakes, to prevent meaningful statistics from being generated from their databases. They also exclude quakes whenever they can, but this is unlikely to happen in the New Madrid area as it is in the center of a populated land mass. Thus you will have magnitude 6 quakes that will be called a 5.2, magnitude 7 quakes called a 6.1, and when a magnitude 8 or greater quake occurs, it will be called a 6.9.

We would advise that rather than watching the USGS quake statistics, that you watch the Earth changes. The adjustment that will incite the European tsunami will involve bridges on the Mississippi breaking, and being impassable. The land to the west of the Mississippi will drop so that the Mississippi will become 50 miles wide in the state of Mississippi. Watch for this. The New Madrid adjustment will be several large quakes of magnitude 8-9, though will be listed as a lesser magnitude. As the N American continent continues to unzip up to and along the Seaway, the quakes will be less than a magnitude 8 but very destructive to Cleveland and Toledo and Buffalo and the inland locks along the Seaway. Thus it is not what the USGS says that should be watched, but the condition of the bridges on the Mississippi, the impact on the cities along the Seaway, and whether the inland locks are reported as inoperable.   EOZT

Please collect earthquake-reports here. Significant Quakes or Magnitude 7+ can be posted separately.

Minor Earthquake Strikes Below Lake Erie

Local Residents Talk About ‘Scary’ Quake

Posted on: 7:27 pm, July 1, 2013, by Kara Sutyak

By FOX 8′s Allison Brown

LAKE COUNTY– Some Lake County residents woke up to some shaking and rumbling early Monday morning.

It was actually an earthquake.

A magnitude 3.2 quake was felt in Lake County by many.

Thankfully there was no damage; but the quake still had people pretty concerned Monday, and literally shaken up.

Lake County officials received multiple calls.

“I heard a gigantic explosion, and it rumbled entire house,” one caller said. “I’m sorry; I’m like shaking so bad right now,” she went on.

The quake was felt in places like Perry, and Fairport Harbor.

Even Eileen Steele of Mentor heard the pictures on her walls shake.

“It was pretty significant, like an explosion had gone off far away and you kind of feel the rumble from it,” said Steele. “This was different. The bed shook,” she said.

All of her animals were alert and scared too, especially her dog.

According to the United States Geological Survey, this was a magnitude 3.2 earthquake.

Even At the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, this seismograph machine picked up the activity at 3:49 a.m.

The machine is part of the museum’s Earthquake Zone display, which is full of information about the natural disasters.

But the kind of shaking and rumbling some Lake County residents felt, is something they don’t want to experience again.

“It was scary,” Steele said.

Strong Quake Damages Homes in Indonesia

A strong earthquake that felled buildings and caused landslides in western Indonesia, killing at least 22 people and injuring more than 200 others, officials said Wednesday. More than 1,500 houses and buildings were damaged across Aceh province.

The magnitude-6.1 quake struck Tuesday afternoon at a depth of just 10 kilometers (6 miles) and was centered 55 kilometers (34 miles) west of the town of Bireun on the western tip of Sumatra island, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

Twelve people were killed and 70 others were injured by a landslide or collapsing buildings in Bener Meriah, said Sutopo Purwo Nugroho of the National Disaster Mitigation Agency. He added Wednesday that the number of houses and buildings damaged in the district is still being counted.

In neighboring Central Aceh district, 10 people died, 140 were injured and about 1,500 houses and buildings were damaged, Nugroho said. The quake also triggered landslides and caused hundreds of people to be evacuated to 10 temporary shelters.

Indonesia Earthquake.JPEG

At least 25 of the injured in Bener Meriah were hospitalized in intensive care, deputy district chief Rusli M. Saleh said.

"We are now concentrating on searching for people who may be trapped under the rubble," Saleh said. More than 100 houses and buildings were damaged in the district, he said.

"I see many houses were damaged and their roofs fell onto some people," said Bensu Elianita, a 22-year-old resident of Bukit Sama village in Central Aceh district. "Many people were injured, but it is difficult to evacuate them due to traffic jams."

She said people in the village ran out of their homes in panic and screamed for help. At least two houses were totally flattened, she said, and the power failed in the village.

The quake also caused concern among officials attending a meeting of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in Medan, the capital of neighboring North Sumatra province. They were escorted from the second-floor meeting room by security officers.

Indonesia is prone to seismic upheaval due to its location on the Pacific Ring of Fire, an arc of volcanoes and fault lines encircling the Pacific Ocean.

In 2004, a magnitude-9.1 earthquake off Aceh triggered a tsunami that killed 230,000 people in 14 countries.
