Altering Earthquakes:
As of late, I have observed that USGS and EMSC are a bit lax on their reports of earthquakes. Sometimes not seeing anything reported for hours from the last update, or seeing periods of 90-200 minutes with no earthquakes in between. My question is, are they leaving swarms of earthquakes out of their reports, or there are actually periods of no earthquakes?
SOZT: Greater than 90% of the earthquake activity is being altered by the USGS at present, which is under orders to prevent any clue being given to the public about the Earth changes caused by the presence of Planet X. Over a decade ago, the approach was to de-sensitize the live seismographs periodically, so the displays do not turn black worldwide, and to ignore the twice-a-day patterns showing up on these seismographs. Then any quakes that could be dropped were dropped. This was obvious to some who were watching the database manipulation. Quakes in the list would suddenly disappear. This was particularly the case where a quake happened in a remote location, or out in the ocean. Dumbing down the magnitude quickly followed, but in order to ensure the public did not notice, the USGS took control of all websites reporting quake statistics. At times, this control breaks, and discrepancies are reported to the public. Some countries rebel. Quake swarms are another source of control, as they pepper the databases with many quakes and skew the statistics, and thus are pulled from the database. Else the question is raised, why so many? EOZT
Will the USGS internet system be a reliable warning system for the European tsunami by registering on the net the New Madrid earthquake on the exact time it occurs?
SOZT: It will not be a lack of information from the USGS that will be the point of confusion during the earthquakes leading up to the New Madrid adjustment, it will be knowing which quake is the big one vs the many minor quakes preceding it. The USGS downgrades almost all earthquakes, to prevent meaningful statistics from being generated from their databases. They also exclude quakes whenever they can, but this is unlikely to happen in the New Madrid area as it is in the center of a populated land mass. Thus you will have magnitude 6 quakes that will be called a 5.2, magnitude 7 quakes called a 6.1, and when a magnitude 8 or greater quake occurs, it will be called a 6.9.
We would advise that rather than watching the USGS quake statistics, that you watch the Earth changes. The adjustment that will incite the European tsunami will involve bridges on the Mississippi breaking, and being impassable. The land to the west of the Mississippi will drop so that the Mississippi will become 50 miles wide in the state of Mississippi. Watch for this. The New Madrid adjustment will be several large quakes of magnitude 8-9, though will be listed as a lesser magnitude. As the N American continent continues to unzip up to and along the Seaway, the quakes will be less than a magnitude 8 but very destructive to Cleveland and Toledo and Buffalo and the inland locks along the Seaway. Thus it is not what the USGS says that should be watched, but the condition of the bridges on the Mississippi, the impact on the cities along the Seaway, and whether the inland locks are reported as inoperable. Update of destruction in Taiwan.
http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/641612/building-collapses-earth...
TWITTER
The quake, initially reported as a magnitude 6.7, was struck 27 miles southeast of Tainan, a city of nearly two million people in the south of Taiwan.
Photos of a building moments before its collapse have surfaced on Twitter and 30 people have been rescued from a seven-storey building.
The quake was described as "enormous" and a "big one" on social networking sites.
Taiwan city's fire department is on its way to the collapsed building and the city government has formed an emergency response team, Liu Shih-chung, an official with the Tainan City Government.
Hundreds of residents are believed to be inside one of the collapsed buildings.
Emergency services are at the scene clearing rubble and debris in order to get inside the building.
No fatalities have been reported.
It is believed two buildings collapsed in the quake, which struck at 3.57am local time (7.57pm GMT), rupturing gas and water pipes.
The US Geological Survey (USGS) said the quake was very shallow, at depth of 6.2 miles, which would have amplified its effects.
People in Taiwan reported on Twitter feeling the earthquake, with many saying it felt strong.
Taiwan's China Post newspaper said: "Collapsed buildings reported in Tainan, with rescue workers arriving on scene. The city government there has set up a level one emergency response centre. Onlookers are urged not to block access to emergency crews moving into the area."
No other details were immediately available but many people in Taiwan said the tremor was strong.
Pao-feng Wu, a Tainan resident, said: "I hugged the wall and put my face to the wall."
Local sources reported the earthquake caused buildings to sway and doors and windows to crack.
Taiwan's Central Weather Bureau also measured a second quake of 4.3 magnitude centered in Tainan.
It's believed a third quake measuring 4.5 also hit southern Taiwan.
The first quake was felt as a lengthy, rolling shake in the capital, Taipei, on the other side of the island.
According to the USGS, a magnitude 6.4 earthquake can cause severe damage.

More on the New Jersey 'sonic booms'.
Unexplained Shaking Felt in New York, New Jersey, New England (Jan 28)
Unexplained shaking was reported from southern New Jersey up into Connecticut Thursday afternoon, and many residents went to social media to share their experience.
Some said it felt like multiple earthquakes, while others thought they seemed more like sonic booms. The first posts referencing the shaking were seen just before 1:30 p.m. local time Thursday afternoon.
"Everybody's outside right now yelling to each other about what it was," Brigantine, New Jersey, photographer Lori Nichols told NJ.com. "Across the street, someone said their room was shaking."
According to the Earth Institute, there were at least three earthquake tremors in New Jersey, and they were gathering information from their seismometers.
There have been no reports of damage or injuries, but the Brigantine Police Department has asked citizens to stop calling 911 in order to keep the lines open for emergencies.
Here's what some people in the area had to say as they felt the ground shaking:
The U.S. Navy released a statement indicating aircraft from Naval Test Wing Atlantic conducting routine flight testing between 1:30 and 2:30 pm in the Atlantic Test Ranges may have caused sonic booms.
A geophysicist with the U.S. Geological Survey said there were nine total booms over the span of 90 minutes.

EIGHT earthquakes jolted New Jersey within about an hour today, the first striking about 1:10 PM EST. Folks as far north as Old Bridge, Monmouth County felt it, as did folks in Toms River, Manahawkin, Atlantic City down to Cape May.
A second jolt came about ten minutes later, around 1:20 PM EST, and was described by those who felt it as a "wave motion" from the ground. "Felt the earth move under my feet in Toms River," reported Taneil Sharkey at 1:38 p.m. today.
A THIRD jolt took place at about 2:04 PM EST, felt in the same region as the ones listed above. The third tremor was felt Brigantine, this one bigger, enough to bring neighbors outside.
The FOURTH quake struck at about 2:14 PM EST and was described as larger still! These quakes seem to be getting stronger as they occur, which could mean they are "foreshocks" to a very large quake. What's troubling is that these earthquakes are taking place in a section of New jersey that has NO SEISMIC FAULTS.
In Ocean County, the Police dispatch Center for Little Egg Harbor has been deluged with calls from citizens asking about a "sonic boom or something. In Mystic Island, Roman Isaryk says the shaking "lasted about 10 seconds," adding that there are reports from around the area.
Jim Farmer, a homeowner in Bayville, said his "whole house shook back and forth quickly" for about five seconds. Five minutes later, it happened again, and a third time just after 2 p.m..
"It was bizarre and alerting for sure," he said. "I'm used to feeling the explosions from military testing at the (Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst), but these were profoundly different as they carried on and were rattling everything for a period of time."
The US Geological Survey is NOT reporting any earthquakes (yet) but four clearly took place in central to southern New Jersey within the hour!
There has been speculation that the incidents were actually sonic booms from aircraft flying over the ocean, but that explanation does not fit the facts. Too many homes over too great a distance have been affected for it to be sonic booms. In addition, An Official at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst said that “the base was not conducting any sort of exercises that would have caused a sonic boom or other shaking."
On the map below, the Green line traces the places where the quakes have been felt -- a line about 144 road miles long!
UPDATE 3:38 PM EST -- Reports now coming in from Long Island, NY, and states in New England of similar shaking of homes, windows, doors.
New Jersey State Police Dispatchers have radioed Troopers that a "seismic blast took place over the ocean." What the hell is a seismic blast? Never heard of it! Oh, and where did they get this info? Perhaps someone just made it up?
Several folks in central New Jersey reported a brief power outage just before the shaking began, power off - then - on.
One person in Southern New Jersey marked the precise times these events took place, as follows:
13:24
13:32
14:03
14:18
14:23
14:27
14:32
14:36
The North American Aerospace Defense command (NORAD) says they are not tracking anything along the eastern coast which could account for a sonic boom.

Houses Explode, Neighborhood Evacuated after Alaska Quake (Jan 24)
Four homes were destroyed and an entire neighbourhood had to be evacuated after a gas leak was reported, Kenai police Chief Gus Sandahl said Sunday morning.
A home neighbouring the one on fire exploded hours after the quake, Sandahl said. All firefighters and gas utility workers were accounted for, and there were no reports of injuries.
Crews were still trying to resolve the gas issue nearly eight hours after the earthquake.
A second home was destroyed in gas leak explosions and another two were fully engulfed in flames before firefighters determined it was safe enough from gas for them to enter the homes.
Barta, who has lived in Anchorage for about 10 years, says Alaskans on social media say the earthquake woke them up.
People were saying on social media that the earthquake "was the biggest I ever felt as long as I have lived here," Barta said.
The quake -- centered about 162 miles southwest of Anchorage -- left thousands of people without power overnight.
The quake also ripped a section of Kalifornsky Beach Road at Mile 1, making the road impassable. The road connects Kasilof and Soldotna.
"Everything was flying off the shelves," said Bob Candopolous of Seward. "It was tough to get to the front door to get out of the house."
USGS initially reported it as a magnitude-7.1, but downgraded shortly after to magnitude-6.8 before raising it back to 7.1.
