Altering Earthquakes:
As of late, I have observed that USGS and EMSC are a bit lax on their reports of earthquakes. Sometimes not seeing anything reported for hours from the last update, or seeing periods of 90-200 minutes with no earthquakes in between. My question is, are they leaving swarms of earthquakes out of their reports, or there are actually periods of no earthquakes?
SOZT: Greater than 90% of the earthquake activity is being altered by the USGS at present, which is under orders to prevent any clue being given to the public about the Earth changes caused by the presence of Planet X. Over a decade ago, the approach was to de-sensitize the live seismographs periodically, so the displays do not turn black worldwide, and to ignore the twice-a-day patterns showing up on these seismographs. Then any quakes that could be dropped were dropped. This was obvious to some who were watching the database manipulation. Quakes in the list would suddenly disappear. This was particularly the case where a quake happened in a remote location, or out in the ocean. Dumbing down the magnitude quickly followed, but in order to ensure the public did not notice, the USGS took control of all websites reporting quake statistics. At times, this control breaks, and discrepancies are reported to the public. Some countries rebel. Quake swarms are another source of control, as they pepper the databases with many quakes and skew the statistics, and thus are pulled from the database. Else the question is raised, why so many? EOZT
Will the USGS internet system be a reliable warning system for the European tsunami by registering on the net the New Madrid earthquake on the exact time it occurs?
SOZT: It will not be a lack of information from the USGS that will be the point of confusion during the earthquakes leading up to the New Madrid adjustment, it will be knowing which quake is the big one vs the many minor quakes preceding it. The USGS downgrades almost all earthquakes, to prevent meaningful statistics from being generated from their databases. They also exclude quakes whenever they can, but this is unlikely to happen in the New Madrid area as it is in the center of a populated land mass. Thus you will have magnitude 6 quakes that will be called a 5.2, magnitude 7 quakes called a 6.1, and when a magnitude 8 or greater quake occurs, it will be called a 6.9.
We would advise that rather than watching the USGS quake statistics, that you watch the Earth changes. The adjustment that will incite the European tsunami will involve bridges on the Mississippi breaking, and being impassable. The land to the west of the Mississippi will drop so that the Mississippi will become 50 miles wide in the state of Mississippi. Watch for this. The New Madrid adjustment will be several large quakes of magnitude 8-9, though will be listed as a lesser magnitude. As the N American continent continues to unzip up to and along the Seaway, the quakes will be less than a magnitude 8 but very destructive to Cleveland and Toledo and Buffalo and the inland locks along the Seaway. Thus it is not what the USGS says that should be watched, but the condition of the bridges on the Mississippi, the impact on the cities along the Seaway, and whether the inland locks are reported as inoperable. The earth trembled in Guadeloupe, in the night from Sunday to Monday 17 April. A tremor of magnitude 5.8 on the Richter scale, well felt throughout the department and in Antigua and Barbuda.
After the heavy rains of the last few days, it is the earth that makes its own. An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 on the scale of Richter, was felt, during the night from Sunday to Monday, at 1:23 precisely.
The jolt lasted several long seconds.
According to preliminary findings from the UWI Seismic Research Center, the epicenter was located 141 kilometers north-east of Pointe-à-Pitre and 83 kilometers John's, in Antigua and Barbuda.

Whanganui shaken, but not stirred after Easter quakes
NEW ZEALAND
Sunday Apr 16, 2017
http://www.nzherald.co.nz/wanganui-chronicle/news/article.cfm?c_id=...
Whanganui has been rocking and rolling this weekend with a series of quakes recorded in the region.
The most recent was at 8am Sunday and weighed in at a magnitude of 3.1 and 31km deep. It was centred 25km off Whanganui.
On Saturday shortly after 9.30pm a 3.7 magnitude jolt rattled the city briefly, this time at a depth of 30km, and also centred 25km off Whanganui.
Thank you, Kojima!! I've been monitoring this database [one among several others] for a good 12 years now. I understand how that six month Total fluctuates. But---- there is no way that [at this point] over a THOUSAND old quakes can fall off the six month total this quickly. The casual, or more important a newer observer would never know this.
Thank you!
Hi, Willa Rawlings. About the number of earthquakes, a total number in this figure is the counts for the last 6 months. Thus, for example, new earthquakes on Apr 17 will be put on a list while 5 earthquakes of Oct 17 are removed from the list, such a thing. It seems that there were more earthquakes six month ago than one of these past days. Thank you.
The drastic DECLINE in the overall "Total" of earthquakes [while still occurring] for the period of 6 mons., PLUMMETS to: 888. The casual observer would have no idea how ridiculous this "Total" IS these days.

The first quarter of the year has seen an average of 57.3 quakes per month!
The largest quake so far was a magnitude 4.2 near Boonie Rock, Western Australia on the 4th of January.
Over 1,000 Aftershocks As Powerful Quakes Pummel Philippines (Apr 9)
An earthquake swarm continued to hit Batangas on Sunday as the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) advised people to stay calm but remain vigilant for the Big One.
Seismologists have recorded over 1,000 aftershocks, including Saturday’s four “moderately sized” tremors.
Four strong earthquakes, including one measuring magnitude 6, struck Batangas province one after another yesterday afternoon, sending shockwaves across nearby areas, including Metro Manila.
The earthquakes struck within minutes of each other, damaging buildings and causing widespread panic.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the first tremor – measuring magnitude 5.6 – struck at 3:07 p.m. Its epicenter was two kilometers northwest of Mabini, Batangas.
Two minutes later, a stronger magnitude 6 quake struck at 12 km northwest of Mabini.
A third earthquake measuring magnitude 4.1 was felt at 3:29 p.m., while a magnitude 4.7 tremor struck at 4:36 p.m.
Hundreds of residents of coastal areas in a province south of the Philippine capital fled to higher ground fearing a tsunami on Saturday after the series of earthquakes.
“We are evacuating some people who live on the coast. We want them to stay in a safe area tonight,” Mabini Mayor Noel Luistro told the station.
He said he expected at least 3,000 residents to move inland in case of further aftershocks, although the state seismology office said there was no threat of tsunamis.
“The town is full of tourists, both local and foreign, this weekend,” he added.
Portions of the walls of the Santorini inspired resort Camp Netanya collapsed and fell on parked vehicles. Cracks could be seen on the tiled floor of the resort.
Boulders rendered roads in Barangay Pagkilatan, Batangas City impassable.
The network also broadcast live footage of frightened commuters fleeing the passenger terminal at the Port of Batangas.
The quakes caused power outages across the region but caused no casualties, Romina Marasigan, spokesperson for the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, said.
The quakes prompted the Philippine Coast Guard to suspend vessel operations between Batangas and Mindoro.
“We had to suspend the operations of the ships in the area. We are still observing the situation after the earthquake since there are still aftershocks,” PCG spokesman Commander Armand Balilo said.
Hundreds of tourists and travelers were at the Port of Batangas when the tremors struck, forcing many of them to run to open spaces.
Landslides were also reported in some towns and a portion of a Catholic church tower had collapsed, they said.
Phivolcs director Renato Solidum said an earthquake swarm has been going on since Tuesday last week, which coincides with the 6th oarfish in the past 3 months found struggling near shore in the Philippines.
