We'll be seeing an uptick in unusual home and business gas explosions and I'm trying to locate specific ZT on the matter.  Below is a refresher for the many gas related news articles.

Fault lines, when adjusting, do not just rip apart one day during a dramatic earthquake. They most often creep. Laying gas lines along or across a fault line is asking for an accident of this sort. Fault lines are also seldom so clearly delineated that one can go a mile in this or that direction and avoid their action. Where a slip-slide fault such as the San Andreas will often leave a clear line on the surface, this is only the surface action, not what occurs in the rock layers on either side which can fracture for a long way to either side during any movement. The gas company, or the age of the pipes, will be faulted but in truth the finger should be pointed in many directions. The public, who insist on living at such a scenic spot, is to blame. Officials, who zoned for housing are to blame. The public utility company, for allowing gas lines in the area, is to blame. But this will change nothing, while man continues to live on the San Andreas, even as it awakens. EOZT

The danger from radon gas will not be increased as a result of the pole shift. Radon gas is emitted by rock containing uranium, which is degrading. In normal circumstances, where air can circulate, it is disbursed rapidly as is any methane created by decay of organic material. The danger from these gasses comes from confinement - being trapped in a mine, a basement, or beneath the permafrost. The dangers are well known. For methane, it is explosions. An accumulation of methane gas can be identified by the smell of rotten eggs, or as some have described it, dirty socks or cabbage soup. For radon gas the danger is lung cancer, from the continual exposure to the radioactive air. Radon gas is odorless, and cannot be detected except by specialized equipment not in the hands of the average person.

In that the pole shift, or the Earth changes preceding the pole shift, can fracture rock and release pockets of either gas, survivors should be cautious about huddling in bunkers. You are safer out in the open air, or in a trench you have dug that will allow the pole shift winds to pass over you, but nothing to fall on and crush you. The fact that both methane gas and radon gas can accumulate in the bunkers of the elite is one of the reasons we have stated that they have dug their own graves. EOZT

Anyone watching the news, for instance the news on the San Bruno explosion in a distribution line close to the San Andreas Fault line, knows that gas in any form is a danger. Oil and gas refineries explode when rigid piping cracks. Oil or gas wells explode when the ground around them moves. And the gas distribution lines running under cities are no exception. They likewise will explode. Gas lines, whether along the street or within a home, are rigid. In some cases automatic shutoff valves can limit the amount of gas available for an explosion by sensing a drop in pressure, but this is always after the fact. The explosion has already occurred. Utilizing gas on a planet prone to earthquakes was a mistake to begin with, but man never thinks of the consequences when striving for modern conveniences. We have advised turning off the gas at the street, though when the street explodes and your neighbor's homes are on fire you are not likely to escape the holocaust. A better alternative is to live in an area where gas is not available, as in your rural safe location where you will be doing a form of camping while gardening. A campfire at night, for cooking and washing and a bit of friendly light before bed. Nothing explosive. EOZT

SOZT Answer: It is no accident that the New Madrid fault lies under the Mississippi River near Memphis, as rivers form in lowlands created when land pulls apart, separating the rock fingers and weakening support for the land. Thus, the Ohio River bed also is an indication of where rock fingers will pull apart. Two adjustments in Kentucky, a day apart, are not an accident, but an indication of the speed at which the stretch zone is starting to adjust. Rail lines are frequently an early harbinger of such adjustments, as they run long distances, whereas structures within cities, such as tall buildings, take up relatively little space and have a small footprint. Our warning that imploding cities will be experienced, before the hour of the shift, are in this regard. Be warmed, it will not just be your rail lines and gas and water mains that will shatter and be pulled apart during the stretch. The foundations of your tall buildings will likewise be vulnerable.EOZT

(CNN) -- A gas main explosion in Philadelphia Tuesday evening killed one utilities worker and injured five other people, a fire department official said.

Philadelphia Gas Works employees were responding to a gas main break in the city's Tacony neighborhood when the explosion occurred, fire department spokesman Jim Smith said.

"They were trying to control it and found a source of ignition," according to Smith, who said four PGW employees and a firefighter were among the injured. He said some of the gas workers' injuries were serious.

Explosion leaves retirement village in South Columbus rattled

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WYSX/WTTE) — It may be several days before investigators release the cause of a blast that happened at a retirement community in Hamilton Township early Tuesday.

Fire Chief Ralph Shillingburg said they are securing the property with a fence after an explosion around 6:40 a.m.

Shillingburg said a man and woman were taken to the hospital in critical condition, but their names will not be officially released until family is notified.

Linda Jones lives near where the blast that happened on Janice Marie Road. “I heard a big boom. It got us out of bed. We both jumped up to run to the end of our trailer, and looked out said, oh my God, that trailer is on fire.”
Firefighters said the home was completely engulfed when they arrived on the scene. They fought the flames for hours, dousing them with water, and working to reduce damage to neighboring homes.
Another neighbor had just gotten up when he heard the blast.
“I looked out my door window, that is when I seen flames, I come out here and the whole front window blew out of the trailer.
I was worried about the people getting out alive. I prayed they got out alive. They got burned but thank God they got out.”
Crews worked all day to inspect meters and gas lines.
Eric Hardgrove, Columbia Gas spokesman said, “We always take an abundance of caution to make sure there are no other risks to others in the surrounding area.”
Hardgrove said they found no evidence on Monday that natural gas was responsible for the explosion.
It left neighbors like Caroline Harrison scared. “When I looked out my front window, it was a mass of flames. You couldn’t tell how many houses was on fire, it was just a mass of flames.”
Sharon Wilson’s mobile home is only about 15 feet behind the home that exploded. Wilson felt and heard the blast, even though she hadn’t even put in her hearing aids yet.
Wilson said she couldn’t get it out of her mind that she had a Columbia Gas worker tell her she had a leak at her place this summer, and that it hadn’t been fixed yet. “He said there was a leak out back and there was a dead spot of grass, and he said that was where the leak was."
"You could smell it all the time out here. And in fact, they came back and said it would take probably a year or so, could take up to a year to get it repaired,” said Wilson. “They said it wasn’t all that dangerous, and I thought, you know, they are the experts.”
The owner of Enchanted Acres sent an email with this statement:
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of this fire. We also appreciate the quick and thorough response of the Hamilton Township Fire Department to control the damage and prevent further loss to other residents of the community. Finally, we want to thank the neighbors who rendered immediate aid and have reached out to us on how to help.
The cause of the incident remains unknown and we will assist with the investigation in any way.”

A massive explosion at a manufacturing plant has rattled homes in Houston, Texas with the blast echoing across the city, shattering windows and waking residents in the early hours of Friday morning.

The explosion reportedly took place at a factory in the Gessner area of the city. Video from a home doorbell captured the moment of the ferocious blast.

The blast happened around 4:25 am local time and was heard and felt up to 25 miles away. Houston Fire Department has confirmed that at least one person was injured in the incident, adding that its hazmat team is attending the scene.

Debris is reportedly raining from the sky and authorities have asked people to avoid the area while preliminary investigations are underway. Images shared on social media show the damage the blast caused to homes in the vicinity.

Local Police Chief Art Acevedo warned of increased flames and repeated smaller explosions in the aftermath of the incident. He also stated that nearby schools may be affected by the explosion.

The site of the explosion appears to be Watson Grinding and Manufacturing, a machining and manufacturing company.

The owner of the facility reportedly told local media that the explosion originated in a propylene tank. Propylene is a highly flammable gas used in manufacturing.

At least three people killed in Nigeria pipeline explosion

A fire on a pipeline owned by Nigeria's state oil company in the commercial capital Lagos killed three people on Sunday (January 19), a Reuters witness said.

The blaze broke out in the Abule-Egba district of the southwestern megacity. Residents said it started shortly before 8 p.m. (1900 GMT).

A Reuters television camera operator counted three dead bodies at the scene. The fire burned nearby houses and vehicles.

Another witness, resident Ayo Adewale, said there were "many dead people". Reuters was unable to verify the claim.

Many fires on pipelines in Nigeria, Africa's biggest crude oil producer, are caused by theft and sabotage. The methods used to steal oil often result in accidents that cause fires.

Oluwafemi Damilola, director general of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), said he and his team were told "some undesirable elements vandalised the pipeline".

It was not immediately clear what, if any, impact the pipeline fire would have on the operations of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

NNPC spokesman Samson Makoji late on Sunday said that the state oil company was assessing the situation.

A huge fire has broken out at a chemical plant in Tarragona, Spain following an explosion at the site. Catalonia's civil defense agency is warning locals to shelter indoors until the extent of the blast is known.
The moment of the initial blast and resulting fireball was caught on camera. At least four people suffered major burns in the incident, which occurred at a chemical plant between Bonavista and La Canonja which processes ethylene oxide.

Eight firefighting teams have been deployed to tackle the blaze, according to local authorities. Footage and photos shared online by residents in the surrounding area show an enormous blaze at the facility, with clouds of dense smoke rising above.

The explosion reportedly happened at around 6.40pm local time, and people living several kilometers away from the site are claiming to have felt its impact.

In an alert issued by Catalonia's Directorate General of Civil Protection, residents are being told to"lock yourself in a building and close doors and windows," although no toxic cloud has been recorded.
People are also being asked not to drive in the immediate area, and rail services have been suspended.

Gas explosions, leaks claim two lives, 13 injured in various incidents

KARACHI: Gas explosions and leakage claimed two lives, while 13 injured amid shivering weather across the country on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

A father and a son died of suffocation in Chowk Azam town of district Layyah in Punjab due to gas leakage in their room.

A faulty heating system in a closed room at a house in Kot Sultan area, leaked gas and left a man and his son dead during the sleep, while another son was admitted at hospital in a precarious condition.

In another incident in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at Amangarh Labour Colony of Nowshera, seven members of a family were injured in a gas explosion.

The injured, including women and children, were admitted at Nowshera Medical Complex for medical attendance, rescue officials said.

In an incident of explosion caused by gas leakage in Mehrabpur town of Sindh’s Naushehro Feroz district, five members of a family, including a couple and their three children, were injured.

The injured people were transported to Nawabshah for medical treatment.

The gas heater in their room caused explosion, local police said. The explosion also caused collapse of a portion of the roof.

“The injured were first taken to Mehrabpur government hospital but due to absence of a burn ward the injured were transferred to Nawabshah hospital,” an official said.

Pipeline explosion on the East Rand sees homes evacuated

Reports of a pipeline explosion in Alberton, Ekurhuleni, early on Tuesday saw some residents being evacuated for safety reasons.

Eric Maloka, acting disaster and emergency management services spokesperson, said the blaze was brought under control before 11am. Authorities will remain on scene to monitor the situation.

Initially believed to be a gas pipeline, Maloka confirmed that it contained jet fuel and passed Verwoerd Park to a depot in the area.

“The residents are out of danger as the situation is under control. No one was injured and about 40 houses were evacuated, some of which were not in immediate danger, but it was done as a precaution.

“At the moment we are dealing with the secondary flames, but it’s contained,” said Maloka.

“Electrical lines and other easily triggered services are also being monitored. The local policing forum is on the ground to ensure the safety of goods belonging to residents who were evacuated,” said Maloka.

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

UPDATE: Plant three will remain closed until further notice. Operations at the remaining facilities on the East campus will resume on December 28th.

Authorities say more than a dozen people were hurt when a nitrogen line ruptured at the Beechcraft aircraft manufacturing facility in east Wichita.

The explosion happened around 8 a.m. Friday when a 3-inch nitrogen gas line ruptured at the facility located in the 300 block of North Webb Road. Part of Plant 3 collapsed.

Sedgwick County EMS Director John Gallagher initially said 11 people were taken to hospitals and four were treated at the scene. 

A spokesperson for Ascension Via Christi says St. Francis received nine patients. By late Friday afternoon, four had been treated and released and a fifth was expected to be released. Two people admitted in serious condition were listed in fair condition and a third listed as serious was been upgraded to good. The person who suffered critical injuries has been upgraded to serious condition.

Wesley Medical Center had three patients in stable condition and two others who were treated and released, according to a hospital spokesperson.

The rupture was contained, but gas continued to vent, although it posed no risk to nearby residents, officials said.

“The plant closed or shut down for the holiday season so the numbers that would have been here, were not, so it was a skeleton crew,” Deputy Fire Chief Daniel Wegner said.

The cause of the blast is under investigation.

James Fromme, a chief for the Wichita Fire Department, said there were no reports that anyone was still trapped in the building.

Stephanie Harder, a spokeswoman for Beechcraft’s parent company, Textron Aviation, said the structure where the explosion happened is part of a complex of buildings and houses the business’ composite manufacturing and experimental aircraft.

“Difficult day. Difficult news,” she said.

The state Fire Marshal’s Office, OSHA and the local lodge of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers didn’t immediately respond to phone messages.

The explosion comes at a difficult time for the aircraft industry in Wichita, which is a major sector of the Kansas economy.

Boeing announced that it would suspend production of its troubled 737 Max jetliner in January, forcing the state to consider helping to pay workers at Spirit AeroSystems, which produces the jet’s fuselages. And earlier this month, Textron Aviation announced that it would lay off an unspecified number of workers, most of them in Wichita.

The plant is in the legislative district of Kansas Senate President Susan Wagle, a Wichita Republican.

“I am praying for those who are injured and my staff and I will be in close contact with community and state leaders as investigators work to learn more,” Wagle said in an emailed statement.

Buses Go up in Flames at LAX-It Lot; No Injuries Reported  December 21, 2019

Two unoccupied passenger buses erupted with flames, and a third was damaged, in the LAX-it lot at Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday night, officials said.

The fire was first reported just before 9 p.m. at the lot, 9610 S. Sky Way, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

Two liquid propane-powered buses were "fully involved" with fire, Humphrey said, but there were no initial reports of any injuries, nor anyone on board the buses. Fire officials initially reported three buses were in flames.

About 25 firefighters extinguished the flames in about 20 minutes minutes, Humphrey said.

"Though the fire's cause remains under investigation, there is no reason to consider it suspicious at this time," he said.

The fire broke out amid a holiday weekend expected to see nearly 6 million travelers.

Service at the LAX-it lot was briefly shut down as a result of the fire, officials said.

Taylor Road pipeline explosion injures three

Marshall Fire Department responded to a pipeline explosion on Taylor Road Thursday evening that resulted in three injured patients.

“At 5:27 p.m., Marshall EMS and rescue units were dispatched to a Taylor Road gas well site,” said MFD Chief Reggie Cooper.

Upon arrival, Battalion Chief Phillip Burnett indicated one patient was taken to the hospital by private vehicle, Cooper said.

Another was flown by helicopter with serious injuries and another patient was transported by a Marshall med unit to Christus Good Shepherd Marshall, also with serious injuries, the fire chief said.

No injuries following Carmichaels gas well explosion

No one was injured when a gas well exploded in Carmichaels Township Thursday night.

According to Greene County Emergency Management Director Greg Leathers, there was a failure in the valve of a pipeline owned by Diversified Gas & Oil.

The explosion occurred at around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, in the 900 block of Ceylon Road.

“(Diversified) were on the scene very quickly, and turned off the valve,” Leathers said.

Though the explosion was loud, Leathers said it did not cause a fire, and it did it did not last long.

“People felt it,” Leathers said. “There was a crew in Fayette County looking on their side of the river.”
