These avenues are readily used in humans, who have different parts in their brains due to the many genetic engineering projects done in the past, from many different gene pools. Humans have the capability to disconnect their conscious and subconscious memories, and quite frequently do so. For instance, if a memory is painful it can be forgotten. If a memory is painful it may also be altered, so that it is remembered in a different manner than the facts present. It is also possible for humans to develop conscious memories from subconscious desires, where day dreams are dwelt upon until there are enough details to constitute a conscious memory. However, in all these circumstances, the subconscious remembers the facts. It is the conscious which deals in falsehoods. Subconscious memories of our face-to-face meetings are as effective as a full conscious memory. The distress that a schism between the conscious and subconscious causes to a human occurs when the human finds they just spontaneously do something where they previously didn't know they had this intention. Perreira said he has lived at his home on South Street for more than 40 years and he never dreamed he'd see this. "I've seen sink holes in Florida and other places, but not here. And I have to be the lucky one," he said. A small river of water flowed for three days under Perreira's home, causing it to lose its foundation. His car was parked in a concrete driveway when its rear tire was swallowed by a 4-foot wide sink hole. City crews dug into the street Wednesday, found the origin of the problem and shut off the leak. "This particular location the pipe crossed the fault, so yes wherever pipes cross the fault, this could happen," said Hollister Management Services Director Mike Chambless. Chambless called it the Hollister geologic-creep phenomenon. A fault line running through the city and as the plates slowly shift, the pipe just snaps. Chambless said not many pipes run across the fault line, but the sewer line does. "We're going to inspect the sewer lines to make sure that there's no problems there," Chambless said. Chambliss said a second leak sprung up Wednesday night nearby along the same pipeline. That leak was quickly plugged up. City engineers determined that the leaks and sinkhole were being caused by seismic activity in the Earth's crust. The pipe runs directly above the San Andreas Fault. The San Andreas Fault is a strike-slip fault where the North American and Pacific tectonic plates sometimes touch and create earthquakes. City representatives said they will foot the water bill, which they estimate being thousands of dollars. As for Perreira's driveway, Chambless said it's too early to say. The road in front of his house will be closed as crews work tomorrow and next week to repave the street. The signal is from the direction of a HD164595, a star about 95 light-years from Earth. The star is known to have at least one planet, and may have more. The observation is being made public now, but was actually detected last year by the RATAN-600 radio telescope in Zelenchukskaya, Russia, he said. Experts say it is far too early to know what the signal means or where, precisely,it came from. "But the signal is provocative enough that the RATAN-600 researchers are calling for permanent monitoring of this target," wrote Gilster. The discovery is expected to feature in discussions at the 67th International Astronautical Congress in Guadalajara, Mexico, on September 27. "Working out the strength of the signal, the researchers say that if it came from an isotropic beacon, it would be of a power possible only for a Kardashev Type II civilization," Gilster wrote, referring to a scale-system that indicates a civilization far more advanced than our own. "If it were a narrow beam signal focused on our Solar System, it would be of a power available to a Kardashev Type I civilization," indicating one closer to Earth's capabilities. Gilster, who broke the story on August 27, said he had seen a presentation on the matter from Italian astronomer Claudio Maccone. "Permanent monitoring of this target is needed," said the presentation. Nick Suntzeff, a Texas A&M University astronomer told the online magazine Ars Technica that the 11 gigahertz signal was observed in part of the radio spectrum used by the military. "If this were a real astronomical source, it would be rather strange," Suntzeff was quoted as saying. "God knows who or what broadcasts at 11Ghz, and it would not be out of the question that some sort of bursting communication is done between ground stations and satellites," Suntzeff said. Not one day is too soon, if you think about it. A specific date or range of dates impossible to relay as, once we have the knowledge, the choice is ours. We are ultimately responsible for our choices as to where and when to leave. I think we all realize that an organized preemptive evacuation plan from the government is highly unlikely, although a nice thought. I've been called a poly-anna in this life before. In my dreams, it could work, but in reality, each of us, solely, are responsible to plan for our optimum survival chances. My own situation is quite complicated, having spent the last two years in Mexico (disconnected from the world as I know it) while we wait for my husband's visa. This year, his visa is yet again delayed by two years. My elderly parents (estranged most of my life) asked for my return to ease their worry and to help them. Now I am 3000 miles from the only person to whom I've felt completely connected. Having planned to return to him in Central Mexico in December, an opportunity arose last week allowing me to plan departure October 10th, while I am packed and ready to leave on a day's notice should we reach the "shock the world" 7-of-10 episode. This place in Mexico is not officially a safe place being only 37 miles from a large volcano. But my husband will not abandon his friends and family unless he was able to return to USA. We will make this our survival attempt and do our best with the knowledge delivered here. The point is, you can prepare for your safe zone NOW and the only thing stopping you is yourself. The self's attachment to belongings and property prevent us from acting, to the ultimate detriment of both our body and our life's lessons. When it is all over, property will mean nothing; Debt will mean nothing; Mortgages will not matter. Your service to your new community will mean EVERYTHING. My thought is why not act now? Start today? Meet your new community, get started, teach others, develop true relationships before the STS's of the world encroach on us. When things really start to happen, with your studying and knowledge, you will be sought for your advice and help. Of great service to your new place. I guess I'm just trying to say stop worrying and move. Act. Prepare. Take a job in your chosen safe zone at a gas station or grocery store. Meet people and find the one's you instinctively know will work as a group. Churches usually help newcomers to find an affordable place to live and a new place to work. Network and get to work. The epicenters of both quakes were near Timpson, some 25 miles south of Carthage. If you move up on the Ricter scale from a three to a four that is about 32 times more energy put in the ground. The ground would move about 10 times more.” Blakeman went on to say that East Texans could expect more earthquakes. “The thing we sometimes see are swarms,” Blakeman said. “These are nothing significantly large, just small quakes that tend to die away. According to emergency dispatchers, the incident happened on East Penn Street in Uniontown around 7:40 a.m. Seven massive hopper cars of the 80-car frack sand hauler derailed. All were carrying up to 135,000 pounds of sand, some of it spilling along the tracks “We’re very fortunate with sand. There’s some Hazmats that travel across this rail, too,” Uniontown Fire Chief Dane Griffith said. Southwest Pennsylvania Railroad operates the short line, which carries mostly Marcellus Shale products. One of the derailed cars came to rest mere feet from the front porch of a house. “We heard a train coming through like always and then we heard a big boom. We all jumped and ran and there it was laying in our yard,” Georgia Eans said. “I thought I was dreaming. I knew this day was going to come, but I just didn’t know when.” “It sounded like lightning hitting the ground,” said Angela Swop, a Uniontown resident. There are no reported injuries. It is unclear what led to the derailment at this time, but the train’s conductor is cooperating with investigators. Each derailed car has to be emptied before they can be righted and removed from the area. Eight vacuum trucks have been brought in to empty each car, along with other heavy equipment. Another train has been brought in to take away the cars that remained on the track. Several utility poles were sheared off by the derailment as well. East Penn Street is currently closed.
