I have noticed a lot about the moon lately. It has been turned on it's side many times. I have also noticed it in different locations in the sky. Tonight and lastnight it was directly overhead. I think it is really weird. I have also noticed a couple of times, a light rust color to the moon. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yeah, it's a little brighter than it usually is and I've noticed it being slightly "pink" more often too.
On saturday here in Barcelona i saw the moon in a place that i've nerver noticed before And with a lot of bright.
I also noticed the moon last night. At 6 p.m Est it was already getting up there and yes it was brighter than normal. Buy 930 pm it was very high in the night sky. I also am noticing it is moving more North East.

Not only the moon, but pay attention to simple constellations like the Big Dipper. It was noticeably moved from the usual location this moring around 0600 EST, as were others. This was viewed from the southeastern US and I would suspect others will notice similar movements.

Yes, two nights running here in Ireland. It has been like this for a few months and has had me puzzled, perturbed really.

Tonight the angle of the moon is so steep, that moonlight is coming in a second storey stair window, and lighting the stairs and floor of the hallway on the first floor. I have never seen that before. I find it quite creepy, frankly.

Yes!!! For the past two night's the moon has been directly overhead. The moon seems to be in a new position every night. Planet X is playing havoc on our earth and moon.

Yes C. B.

Last night, it came out on the north west, and it moved directly over the sky, always a little bit north of my point of viewing it.  It seemed to linger up high longer than usual.  But it was so pretty, I did not mind this lamp-like sun's light reflective satellite of ours, over me and under the  firmament of los Llanos.

This morning I noticed that the moon  was "setting" in the NW. Two weeks ago it "set" in the SW. This, plus the unusual height, or overhead placement during the night, adds to the mix. Strange indeed.

George S. Wardlow: I noticed this on the 10th. of Feb. I am in the northern hemisphere (Ohio USA) and the moon is never directly overhead.
