The globe can be divided into places that are death traps and places that are optimal for not only survival but also Aftertime living. How rapidly will the populace migrate to the latter as the Earth changes and signs in the skies make it clear that our predictions are accurate? The answer will astonish those who take our message seriously and are making changes in their lives. There will be almost no migration, even among those who realize what is about to play out. Why the procrastination?

We have mentioned that denial will be the route taken by over half the populace, even as the proof of our words is at hand. This should not be surprising as denial is so often used by humans today. The husband is having an affair but the wife refuses to see the signs - the late night hours, the rumpled or torn clothing, and the odd expenditures. The doctor tells the patient he has cancer but this is angrily dismissed and explained away by any other cause that might apply. When a human has employed denial during their life, to comfort themselves, they will use this path during the coming Earth changes. Denial will only harden as the signs become more obvious, and thus these individuals, and those dependents whose lives they control, will likely find themselves unprepared and in a dangerous situation when the pole shift itself hits.

Then there are those, the minority, who realize the warnings are correct but procrastinate for other reasons. Some are waiting for a rescue, an announcement by the government that transport busses and tent cities are awaiting and regular meals will be served. Why leave the city and struggle with gardening and herd and flock management when the offer from the government is perhaps just about to be proffered? Perhaps some of the prophecies, albeit from sources with a zero accuracy track record, about rescue by benign aliens or even a Biblical rapture will come true? Things will be bad, but at the last minute rescue will arrive. Would not the sensible move be one to where survival is assured, or at least facilitated, by gardens and flocks and herds in a relatively unpopulated rural area?

The desire to hold onto the daily life is encouraged by the existence of the cover-up. If rescue were not about to be offered, by the government, then they would surely warn the populace and self-sufficiency would be the route advised. Most citizens want to believe that their governments care for them, and would not have collected taxes all these years only to abandon them when it truly matters. But even among those who sense they are being lied to, and will be abandoned, procrastination may be the norm. One hesitates to give up creature comforts, and explain the delay to themselves in many ways. Why force the kids to change school districts? Why move now when daily arguments from the pampered spouse can only be expected?

So delay is chosen, and then the Earth changes take a turn for the worse. The chance to seek and purchase acreage in a safe area and arrange to move is lost. The phones are often down, and trying to arrange all the paperwork required to take ownership seems impossible during a time when distraction is everywhere, in every life. Packing the van and just driving to a safe location proves a bad decision when checkpoints seem to have sprung up everywhere, blocking migrants with no firm destination. So one returns home, now frantic, all due to delays until too late. Even when the Last Weeks arrive, and people are flooding into the hills, pushing past checkpoints and blockades, travel will hardly be possible. They will be camped on hills, outside of crowded cities, and migration very difficult by any means due to the broken bridges and rails and the endless sloshing and high waves in the oceans.
