Planet X was described as affecting the Earth from afar, like tugging on the edge of a spider web where the effects are felt elsewhere on the web; in this way there has been an increase in earthquakes and unpredictable weather going back years, even before Planet X entered the solar system, due to the increased swirling of the Earth’s core.

It is therefore logical that an increase in train derailments would accompany any increase in seismic activity – train tracks need to be straight and even the slightest shift to the side of a section of track would cause a train to derail.

The area most affected by train derailments is the stretch zone.  Stretch zone quakes are silent, and people are generally unaware anything is happening, although signs such as booms and trumpet sounds can occur.

This zone stretches from Western Europe across the Eurasian Plate, and also includes the South-East United States, the St. Lawrence Seaway, the Red Sea and the African Rift.

In other parts of the world, shifting ground is more associated with earthquakes that people are aware of, such as the Pacific which is compressing, so authorities inspect railway tracks after any seismic activity, reducing the likelihood of accidents.

Wellington, New Zealand

8 people have been injured after a train derailed on Wellington's Johnsonville Line this evening.

Emergency services were called to the scene just north of Khandallah Station just after 7pm on Saturday.

"8 have been transported to Wellington City Hospital with injuries ranging from minor to serious," a spokesperson said.

Metlink senior operations manager Paul Tawharu said the cause of the derailment was unknown and that an investigation was underway.

A resident near the scene told 1News they heard a loud bang at 7.05pm that shook their house. Looking out from their balcony, they could see the train crumpled and at a standstill.

Metlink said services were halted "until further notice" and that buses were being sourced as a replacement.

Caracas, Venezuela

On Friday morning, a train car suffered a violent derailment within the Propatria maintenance yard, breaking through the perimeter wall and coming to a shocking stop on the public sidewalk.

The state-owned company's management issued an official statement hours later to reassure passengers.

The statement explained that the train involved was undergoing corrective maintenance and was completely out of commercial service, thus preventing any loss of life or injuries to passengers on the rail fleet.

MARION CO., Missouri

Emergency responders have been on the scene of a train derailment just outside Palmyra, Missouri, since just before 6 p.m. Sunday.

The tracks are near Highway 168 and County Road 408. 6 cars are involved. There were no injuries.

Chief Crane said the cause of the derailment appears to be related to the sun and heat.

“They think the sun bowed the tracks and made it derail,” Crane said. “It can be fairly common. The track will misalign.”

HILLSBOROUGH CO., Florida

A Palm River-Clair Mel train derailment forced a major road closure Sunday evening, prompting traffic detours for local drivers. 

It happened at the intersection of 50th St. and Causeway Blvd. The train involved in the incident is an empty cargo train.

No injuries have been reported following the accident.

TOLEDO, Ohio — A train derailment in Toledo shut down part of East Manhattan Boulevard for several hours overnight, but traffic is now back to normal.

Toledo police and Toledo Fire and Rescue responded to the scene shortly after midnight.

Video from the area near East Manhattan Boulevard and New York Avenue around 4 a.m. showed crews working to move the train and reopen the road.

MIAMISBURG, Ohio — Crews are on the scene of a partial train derailment call in Miamisburg.

According to the Montgomery Co Regional Dispatch, the derailment happened in the 200 block of Riverview at approx 10:20 a.m.

Authorities are at the scene of a train derailment in Le Sueur Co on Sat morning.

Details are limited at this time, but the early indications are that a freight train derailed just outside the City of Henderson at around 6 a.m.

Pictures taken by Jennifer Olson and supplied to Bring Me The News show multiple train cars on their side, some of which appear to have spilled grain.

There are some tanker cars on their side as well, but KSTP is reporting that nothing is thought to have leaked at this time.

Train derails near Henderson in Le Sueur County

A train derailment occurred outside the city of Henderson in Le Sueur County on Saturday morning

A city council member in Henderson told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS the derailment occurred around 5 a.m. and said nothing is leaking as a result of the incident.

At this time, it is unknown what caused the derailment or whether anyone was injured.

4/26/26 San José Tetel, Mexico — A train of the Ferrosur company, which was transporting dangerous material, derailed in the early hours of this Sunday when it was crossing Tlaxcala, local authorities reported.

The government of the morenista Lorena Cuéllar detailed that the derailment of cargo transport was recorded bw Apizaco and Yauhquemehcan, around 2:44 in the morning.

"Specifically in the community of San José Tetel, without leaks or injured people, and without representing danger to the population," it was officially detailed.

In order to be able to remove the material without creating greater danger to the population, local and federal authorities determined the closure of the area for the next 48 hours.

BEAUMONT, Texas  - Approximately 20 cars of a Union Pacific train derailed on Monday (April 20), the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office reports. No injuries were reported and no hazardous materials were involved, the Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post. One car carrying beef tallow was reported to have been breached and was leaking.

The derailment occurred in a remote area about 14 miles west of Beaumont and a mile northeast of the intersection of Old Sour Lake Road and North China Road. The location is about 1.8 miles from the nearest grade crossing, KBMT-TV reports.

The derailment site is on UP's Beaumont Subdivision, approximately 66 rail miles east of Houston.
