ZETATALK: THE STRETCH ZONE, THAT SINKING FEELING
ZetaTalk explores the concept of Earth's "stretch zones"—regions where tectonic plates are being pulled apart due to planetary forces, particularly in anticipation of a predicted pole shift. It focuses heavily on the eastern seaboard of the U.S., the Caribbean, and parts of Europe, warning that these areas will experience significant land subsidence due to the widening of the Atlantic Rift.
Key points include:
Historical evidence of submerged forests and civilizations off the U.S. East Coast and Bermuda.
Predictions that areas like Florida, Georgia, and the UK will lose elevation and be permanently flooded.
A detailed catalog of sinkholes, train derailments, infrastructure collapses, and mysterious odors from 2004–2005, interpreted as signs of Earth stretching.
The concept of “imploding cities”, where underground infrastructure fails due to shifting rock layers.
Warnings to relocate from vulnerable coastal and low-lying areas before the pole shift occurs.

Kinabatangan, Malaysia
A section of the Sandakan-Lahad Datu main road near the Sukau Roundabout in Kinabatangan collapsed early Tuesday (May 26) morning after heavy rain, disrupting traffic between the two east coast districts in Sabah.
LONGVIEW, Washington — Officials in Longview say there is no hope of rescue for 9 people still missing after a massive chemical tank imploded at a paper mill Tues morning, leaving one worker dead.
9 more people, including a firefighter, were injured in the blast at the Nippon Dynawave Packaging facility.
Authorities say the tank held nearly 1 million gallons of a highly corrosive liquid used in paper production known as "white liquor," with about 90,000 gallons still inside the damaged and unstable structure.
Officials say recovery efforts will not resume until Wed morning & will begin only after crews work to stabilize the tank, with operations limited to daylight hours due to safety risks.
Injured workers suffered chemical burns & inhalation injuries and were decontaminated before being taken to hospitals, while officials say there is no threat to the public.
The cause of the implosion remains under investigation.
At least 24 workers either managed to dash out of the building, where they mostly slept on the ground floor, or were rescued after the it crumbled to the ground around 2:30 a.m. in a crowded neighborhood of budget hotels, cafes, spas and rural houses outside a former U.S. Air Force base, officials said.
A Malaysian tourist died and another guest was injured in a lodging house, which was partly hit by debris from the collapsing building in Angeles City in Pampanga province, Fire Superintendent Maria Lea Sajili said.
“This is the worst day of our lives,” Joamel Angcao, an 18-year-old student, told The Associated Press as she and other siblings waited for word on their parents, who were among those trapped.
Her parents were tending to their food and coffee cart positioned beside the building when it tumbled down. The parents had struggled through poverty to send her and another sibling to school, Angcao said, tears welling in her eyes.
John Carlo Villarente, a young plumber, said that he stepped out of the building about two hours before it collapsed after heavy rains and fierce wind to have a drink.
“I was so shocked, there were people inside, including my nephew,” Villarente told The AP. “We ran and tried to help but we were not allowed to ger near because people said it was very dangerous.”
Sajili said two of the trapped workers were located alive by rescuers but it was taking time to pluck them out safely. Ambulance vans, firefighters and police lined up waiting for the two to be extricated.
Nearly 200 police officers were helping in the rescue, which would proceed overnight “until all are accounted for,” regional police director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez said.
Angeles City hosted one of the largest U.S. Air Force bases outside of the American mainland until it closed in the early 1990s, helping develop Angeles and outlying cities and towns into entertainment and commercial hubs in the main northern Philippine region of Luzon.
The former American air base, now a bustling industrial and tourism enclave called the Clark Freeport Zone, lies about about 80 kilometers (50 miles) north of Manila.

Randy Alapide, a 41-year-old plumber who was off-duty when the accident unfolded, said he rushed back to the scene and helped rescuers locate trapped workers by drawing a map to pinpoint their location. “I know three of the missing. They are breadwinners and they have families waiting for them,” Alapide said.

Building Collapse — Görlitz, Germany
Rescue teams in eastern Germany searched Tuesday morning for 3 people who were missing after a building collapsed in the eastern city of Görlitz near the Polish border.
Police said a gas explosion may have been the cause for the collapse of the building, which took place Monday night.
Emergency responders proceeded with great caution at the scene in case of gas leaks, German news agency dpa reported.
After unsuccessful attempts to locate the missing under the rubble with the help of search dogs, rescuers began clearing debris with an excavator and by hand around 2 a.m. Tuesday.

CINCINNATI, Ohio — A building collapsed in Cincinnati's East End overnight.
It happened on Riverside Drive, which is closed as police and fire officials investigate.
A pile of bricks can be seen on the sidewalk and scattered into the street. The collapse is clear up to the building's third floor.
A neighbor called 911 and told dispatchers it sounded like a freight train coming through.
Cincinnati fire responded just after 3 a.m. Monday. Firefighters raised a ladder and did a visual check for anyone inside.
No one was located, and neighbors confirmed no one was living in the building.
The building department has responded, along with Duke Energy crews. They've since left the scene. It's unclear what the next steps will be.

Troubled Times: New Madrid (https://www.zetatalk.com/info/tinfx050.htm)

As both sides of the New Madrid Fault Line are pulled in opposite directions, the entire fault line operates as a slip-slide fault line. In that the land just to the west of the Mississippi River moves the greatest distance, to ease the pressure on the bow currently formed by the N American continent, this creates a void, a stretch zone void, causing the land there to drop, as we have explained. This is the region currently experiencing precursor earthquakes, the region considered the New Madrid region. But the movement is not yet happening, the void not yet being created. Instead, occasional slight slip-slide adjustments are being made, deep within the rock strata, causing minor quake swarms or sympathetic jolts in neighboring areas. The rock fingers are slipping, but not losing their grip.
When the plate tearing starts in earnest, these slip-slide jolts will be huge, and rise up to the magnitude 8-9 range, as we have stated. These quakes will ride up to the bend in the fault line just south of Lake Michigan. Earthquake damage is primarily done when the rock close to the surface is affected, as is known by man. The quality of the rock along the fault line thus affects the shaking and resulting damage to the surface. A glance at a map of the geology of the fault line shows that the rock along the Mississippi at Arkansas and Missouri is younger, laid down by sediment, and tends to fracture broadly, thus relaying earthquake jolts over a vast area. Broad fractures also cause post quake adjustments, so the quake includes rock shuffling, all of which translates to a larger magnitude for the area. Thus, the worst of the New Madrid adjustment will be felt in this area.
The rock strata that hold Illinois and Indiana is older, and more solid. Fracturing of the rock tends to be a single jolt, not the multiple ricocheting jolts that magnify any adjustment in the rock strata experienced by the rock strata in Arkansas and Missouri. The magnitude will still be considered high, perhaps an 8, but the shaking will not last as long, and the damage therefore not as great. Were the bend in the fault line just south of Lake Michigan not at a point where the southeastern part of the US is dropping away from the Seaway, the damage along the Seaway would be much greater. The Equator is expanding in the center of the Atlantic, and has already, by this time, ripped open between S America and Africa. The southeast thus drops toward this void, relieving pressure and friction along the slip-slide in the fault line as it runs under the Seaway.
By the time the New Madrid adjustment reaches the bend, land to the west of the Mississippi has already dropped, pulled away, but this actually puts more pressure on the fault line as it runs under Michigan. This holds, momentarily, while the southeast starts to drop toward the Atlantic Rift, and then pulls apart sharply. Here, beneath Michigan, the jolts will also not last for long, and will also be considered up to magnitude 8. The fault line thence along the Seaway will unzip, along rock strata borders already established. Where stretch zones such as this normally have adjustments that are basically silent, they do much damage. The unzipping creates crevasses and landslides and sinkholes, and when this occurs under cities is devastating. The quakes will be considered much less than magnitude 8 but the damage will be greater, with consequent lost of life and infrastructure. A building that has collapsed because of a large jolt is no different than one that has collapsed because the ground beneath it sank.
As is known, there is a fault line running up along the East Coast of the US that attaches to the New Madrid fault line in the Gulf. Both fault lines touch there, in the Gulf, and when the New Madrid adjusts there is a sympathetic adjustment up along this fault line. During the last New Madrid adjustment, church bells rang in Boston and cracks appeared in buildings in Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC. These changes are caused by earthquakes equivalent to a magnitude 4-5 or less, not serious.
