ZETATALK: THE STRETCH ZONE, THAT SINKING FEELING

ZetaTalk explores the concept of Earth's "stretch zones"—regions where tectonic plates are being pulled apart due to planetary forces, particularly in anticipation of a predicted pole shift. It focuses heavily on the eastern seaboard of the U.S., the Caribbean, and parts of Europe, warning that these areas will experience significant land subsidence due to the widening of the Atlantic Rift.

Key points include:

  • Historical evidence of submerged forests and civilizations off the U.S. East Coast and Bermuda.

  • Predictions that areas like Florida, Georgia, and the UK will lose elevation and be permanently flooded.

  • A detailed catalog of sinkholes, train derailments, infrastructure collapses, and mysterious odors from 2004–2005, interpreted as signs of Earth stretching.

  • The concept of “imploding cities”, where underground infrastructure fails due to shifting rock layers.

  • Warnings to relocate from vulnerable coastal and low-lying areas before the pole shift occurs.

‘Bigger by the minute:’ Depression collapses Empire Church Road in Lake County

Cause of large hole under investigation

The depression, estimated to be 200-feet long, 90-feet wide and 50-feet deep, formed early Monday along Empire Church Road, southwest of state roads 50 and 33 in Groveland, according to Lake County officials.

Empire Church Road is closed from Bear Lake Road to Edgehill Drive.

A county spokesperson said the hole is “getting bigger by the minute.”

The cause of the depression is not known, although weather is a possible factor as Central Florida has experienced sub-freezing temperatures the last two mornings.

Lake County officials said a geotechnical analysis of the collapse is underway to determine whether it’s a sinkhole.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said drivers can use Mattioda Road and Anderson Road as alternative routes.

“The school board and bus transportation has been notified. The Lake County Road Department is on scene assessing the situation. Please avoid the area and stay safe,” the sheriff’s office said.

About 1,400 cars travel on Empire Church Road each day, the county said.

“We understand how disruptive this closure is for nearby residents, and we don’t take that lightly,” said Lake County Assistant County Manager Bobby Bonilla. “Our crews are actively evaluating the situation and working as quickly and safely as possible to identify a solution and reopen the road.”

No other details have been released.

FDNY responds to partial building collapse in the Bronx

January 24, 2026
Bronx, NY – The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) responded Monday afternoon to a partial building collapse at 57 East Burnside Avenue in the Bronx. Officials confirmed that there were no serious injuries.

According to FDNY Battalion Chief Christopher Ganci, crews from Engine 75 and Ladder 33 arrived to find that an approximately 150-foot section of wall had collapsed during ongoing demolition work. The debris fell onto a sidewalk shed in front of the structure.

Emergency responders immediately conducted a search of the area with assistance from rescue and squad companies to ensure no one had been trapped beneath the debris. “After a search by the rescue, squad, and the units on scene, it was determined that there were no victims. No personnel were missing from the site,” Chief Ganci said.

Firefighters secured the area and confirmed that the remaining portions of the building were stable before turning the scene over to the New York City Department of Buildings and the Office of Emergency Management for further inspection and investigation.

Authorities said that while the collapse caused significant property damage, the sidewalk shed likely prevented more serious injuries by catching much of the falling debris. The cause of the collapse remains under investigation by city officials.
