"We warned at the start of ZetaTalk, in 1995, that unpredictable weather extremes, switching about from drought to deluge, would occur and increase on a lineal basis up until the pole shift. Where this occurred steadily, it has only recently become undeniable. ZetaTalk, and only ZetaTalk, warned of these weather changes, at that early date. Our early warnings spoke to the issue of global heating from the core outward, hardly Global Warming, a surface or atmospheric issue, but caused by consternation in the core. Affected by the approach of Planet X, which was by then starting to zoom rapidly toward the inner solar system for its periodic passage, the core was churning, melting the permafrost and glaciers and riling up volcanoes. When the passage did not occur as expected in 2003 because Planet X had stalled in the inner solar system, we explained the increasing weather irregularities in the context of the global wobble that had ensued - weather wobbles where the Earth is suddenly forced under air masses, churning them. This evolved by 2005 into a looping jet stream, loops breaking away and turning like a tornado to affect the air masses underneath. Meanwhile, on Planet Earth, droughts had become more intractable and deluges positively frightening, temperature swings bringing snow in summer in the tropics and searing heat in Arctic regions, with the violence of storms increasing in number and ferocity."

NORMAN, Oklahoma — Wild video shows the moment part of a hotel roof collapsed in Norman on Saturday.

A TikTok video posted by user "itsmichelle1982" shows the lobby ceiling leaking water at the Embassy Suites near W Robinson Street and 24th Avenue NW in Norman. Moments later, video shows part of the ceiling collapsing.

Hotel employees said it only impacted the lobby, and it did not affect any guests' stays.

KOCO is working to determine what caused the initial leak and eventual collapse. This all happened as freezing temperatures and winter weather remain in Norman.

A major winter storm is expected to impact over 160 million people in the southern and eastern U.S. starting Friday. The storm will bring heavy snow, freezing rain, and sleet, causing hazardous travel conditions.

States such as Texas and Oklahoma are preparing for icy roads, with salt spread and schools closed. "It’s all hands on deck," said Houston Mayor John Whitmire.

The storm may drop up to a foot of snow and follow with extreme cold, leading to emergencies declared in at least 14 states. Residents are advised to prepare for potential power outages and supply shortages.

Brazil (17.01.2026) — A couple's car was swept away by a flash flood in the southern zone of São Paulo during heavy rainfall on Friday.

The fire brigade resumed the search today, focusing on sewage channels and the Pinheiros River, where a male body was found about a kilometer away.  The identity has not yet been confirmed.

The broadcaster 'TV Globo' learned from the family that the couple was on their way home at the time of the accident. They have two children and four grandchildren.
