"Stretch zones primarily experience sinking ground, as the support in the rock strata is stretched thin. Thus, buildings implode and gas and water mains break."  ZetaTalk

What happens to rock layers under a diagonal pull, or being pulled apart? As can be seen during recent years, this has resulted in derailing trains, sinkholes suddenly appearing, gas and water main breaks, torn roadways and separating bridges. Despite the effect on man, crawling about on the surface of what they assume to be terra firma, these changes are superficial. When the pulling starts, weak points break and thereafter the plumbing and roadways hold, giving the impression that the pulling has stopped, but this is misleading. The North American continent is giving evidence that its rock layers are separating from each other, and sliding sideways in a diagonal, thus exposing portions of these layers to vent into the air above. If rock is being stressed, then where are the earthquake predictors giving evidence of this, the frantic animals, the static on the radio, the earthquake swarms? Rock in the stretch zone, pulling apart rather than compressing, does not emit the particles flows that animals and radios sense, nor register on instruments are tension and release quakes.

"We have repeatedly stated that the Earth changes will not diminish, but will increase going into the pole shift.

This is not a lineal matter, as the closer Planet X comes to Earth, an inevitable path, the more the torque effect and the polar wobble where the N Pole of Earth is pushed away violently on a daily basis, occur. The wobble will become more pronounced, more violent. The plates are tugged back West of the Atlantic, pulled forward East of the Atlantic, during the daily rotation of the Earth. The North American continent is allowed to roll East during rotation while the S Pole is pulled West, creating the diagonal pull likely to trigger the New Madrid fault line into an adjustment, and soon. The N Pole is pushed away and allowed to bounce back, daily, as the Earth rotates, a wobble that puts stress on all fault lines when the plates are suddenly in motion, and suddenly stopped!

"As there is no other explanation for the effect on the stretch zone, lacking any earthquakes to blame, and as these stretch zone accidents will continue to emerge, and with ferocity, this is a certain clue to those on the fence, that the influence of Planet X is the cause. Or is it Global Warming?"

ZetaTalk Chat Q&A for April 13, 2013

"Sinkholes almost invariably form in areas subject to karst limestone cavern formation. Underground water flows eat away the limestone leaving vast caverns and caves, which often give scant indication above ground that a cavern lies below. Karst limestone rock formations have been mapped and are known, however, but since one never knows just where a cavern might have formed, this provides little help in predicting just where a sinkhole might form. Sinkholes open up when the rock is fractured due to stress from being in the stretch zone, from the bending of a plate, or due to torsion."

LYNCHBURG, Virginia — The Lynchburg FD announced Thurs that crews helped rescue a dog named Winnie from a sinkhole that had opened up in her owner’s backyard.

The LFD released the following statement regarding the rescue Thurs:

It was a normal Wed evening for Winnie the dog up until about 8:30 pm when her owner let her outside for a few minutes. Seconds later, the woman heard Winnie yelp in fear and went outside to find her at the bottom of what appeared to be a 50-foot sinkhole that had opened up in their backyard. An old well had collapsed and Winnie was at the bottom of it. That’s when the Lynchburg FD - whose crews had just finished up working a structure fire on Campbell Ave - was called in to help.

Shanghai sinkhole swallows roadway in sudden collapse | Watch

FP News Desk  February 12, 2026, 16:35:19 IST

A huge sinkhole engulfed a Shanghai roadway in seconds, CCTV footage showing tarmac crumple as cracks tore through nearby structures.

Shanghai sinkhole swallows roadway in sudden collapse | Watch
Shanghai roadway vanishes into sudden sinkhole as CCTV catches the collapse live.

A massive sinkhole ripped open a busy Shanghai roadway this week, swallowing a wide section of tarmac in seconds and sending cracks racing through nearby buildings. Security cameras caught every heart stopping moment as the ground buckled without warning, turning a normal street into a gaping crater that now dominates the video footage ahead. Vehicles swerved at the last second while onlookers froze, the sheer speed of the collapse captured in stark detail from multiple angles.

The incident hit near Qixin Road in Minhang District, where construction crews had flagged a water leak the day before on 11 February. By Thursday morning, that minor issue exploded into disaster, a 10 to 20 metre wide hole plunged deep into the earth, edges crumbling as the road surface gave way like paper. The video zeroes in on the drama, asphalt folding inward while street lamps sway and debris tumbles into the void below. No one died, but the close calls and structural damage nearby have shaken local nerves.

Shanghai sits on soft alluvial soil prone to subsidence, worsened by years of groundwater pumping and rapid building booms. Experts point to underground voids from pipe bursts, loose sand layers and old infrastructure as the usual culprits behind such events. Data shows 72 percent of China’s sinkholes since 2017 tie back to human works like shoddy construction or utility failures. Just two years ago in January 2024, a sewage pipe blowout in the same Minhang area sank another road nearly 10 metres deep, with no injuries then either. The footage from this latest cave in echoes that one, but on a larger scale, pavement heaving before total failure.

Workers rushed in with barriers and pumps after the road shut down, the China Railway Tunnel Bureau leading emergency fixes near the under construction Jiamin Line. The video follows their scramble too, diggers probing the edges as water gushes from the pit, hinting at a burst main beneath. For residents, it is a stark reminder of hidden risks underfoot in one of the world’s biggest cities, where gleaming towers mask fragile ground.

Watch this clip to see the ground betray the city in real time: the initial cracks spiderwebbing out, the sudden drop that engulfs the road, and the chaos of bystanders rushing back as dust settles over the abyss. It lays bare how fast stability can vanish in urban jungles built too fast on shaky foundations, pulling you right into the edge of the hole.

Jardim Imperial, São José dos Campos - Brazil

In an interval of 11 days, 2 craters opened on Felisbina de Souza Machado Street, in Jardim Imperial, in the South Zone of São José dos Campos.

The most recent case was this Saturday (7). The emergence of the crater left 4 houses and a building with 34 apartments closed.

The previous sinking occurred on January 27 of this year and the crater even swallowed a truck. With this weekend's rain, the oldest crater also gave way and increased in size.

The 2 craters of 2026 appeared about 300 meters away from each other. The areas were isolated and it is not yet known what caused the sinking. The places are being monitored by Civil Defense.

It is not yet known what caused the opening of the 2 craters on the road in 2026.
