Volcanic activity at Mount Merapi, Java, Indonesia 5/5/26

ZetaTalk Explanation 1/31/2020: Volcano eruptions invariably mark the 7 of 10 Plate Movements, as they lie along plate borders or are centered in stretch zones. That so many extinct volcanoes are threatening to erupt and many of mankind’s most populous cities are suddenly faced with evacuation concerns is thus not unexpected. But over the centuries, mankind has not been concerned about prophecies about the End Times and allowed their cities to develop in harm’s way. Thus, we have Popocatepetl threatening 9 million people in Mexico City, Klyuchevskoy threatening 9 million in Tokyo, and Taal threatening Manila, the capitol of the Philippines.

That all these volcanoes are erupting at the same time is a sign that the 7 of 10 Plate Movements are in the end-stage of this phase – all moving and adjusting at once. The lifting Indio-Australian Plate is roiling the lava under its eastern edge, as the fires in Australia attest. This allows the Pacific to compress, with the Philippine Plate tilting and pushing under Taal. Central America is being crushed as the Caribbean Plate is forced westward by the S American Roll, as the Puerto Rican quake swarms attest. The tightening bow in the N American Continent is forcing the tip near Kamchatka into a crunch. All plates are in the dance, at present.

Volcanic activity worldwide 18 October, 2025: Kilauea in Hawaii, Santiaguito volcano, Fuego, Semeru, Ibu, Dukono, Reventador, and soon "all volcanoes that have been active within the memory of man will begin spewing and burping and oozing, and many that were not expected to become active will reactive."

Fuego Volcano activity: ash plume over Guatemala 🌋 Fuego Volcano in Guatemala continues to show explosive activity. According to the Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington, a volcanic ash plume was detected rising to an estimated altitude of 14,000 ft (≈4,300 m), corresponding to flight level FL140.

⚠️ Ash and smoke were observed in the sky over the region, posing a potential hazard to aviation and possibly affecting air quality in nearby areas. Monitoring of the situation is ongoing.

On November 27, 2025, Mount Etna in Sicily, Italy was observed producing rare volcanic “smoke rings” (vortex rings) above its crater. This phenomenon is linked to bursts of gas escaping through a circular vent, creating ring-shaped clouds in calm atmospheric conditions

🌋 What Happened
Mount Etna, Europe’s most active volcano, has a history of spectacular displays. On this date, witnesses reported giant rings of vapor drifting above the summit.

These rings are technically called volcanic vortex rings, formed when pressurized gas escapes through a narrow vent in a pulse, rolling into a toroidal (donut-shaped) structure.

The event coincided with ongoing volcanic unrest at Etna, which had already shown ash emissions earlier in November. VolcanoDiscovery

Indonesia’s Semeru volcano erupts, alert level raised to highest

The volcano has spewed ash clouds as tall as 5.6km (3.48 miles) into the sky, authorities say.

Indonesia’s Semeru volcano has erupted, unleashing fast-moving pyroclastic flows as the country’s volcanology agency increased the alert level of Java island’s tallest mountain to the highest.

The volcano spewed ash clouds as tall as 5.6km (3.48 miles) into the sky, the agency said on Wednesday, adding that residents should stay a 2.5km (1.55-mile) distance away due to risks.

The eruption began at about 4pm (09:00 GMT), according to a written report from Mukdas Sofian, an officer at Indonesia’s volcanology monitoring post.

“Pyroclastic flows are still occurring, with the runout distance reaching seven kilometres [4.3 miles] from the summit, and the eruption was ongoing at the time this report was prepared,” Sofian said.

Mount Semeru, located in a densely populated region of Java, is Indonesia’s highest peak at 3,676 metres (12,060 feet) and sits on the Pacific “Ring of Fire”, a seismically active arc where volcanic eruptions and earthquakes are common.

Semeru, also known as Mahameru, has erupted numerous times in the past 200 years, including a deadly episode in 2021 that killed 62 people and buried villages in hot ash.

Indonesia is home to nearly 130 active volcanoes – more than any other country, and Semeru’s frequent activity is closely monitored because of the risks it poses to nearby communities, transport routes and aviation.
