Spain Experiences its Worst Train Accident in 40 Years

An increase in train derailments was one of the first symptoms of the approach of Planet X to become noticeable, being expressed even before Planet X entered the inner solar system in 2003.

Planet X was described as affecting the Earth from afar, like tugging on the edge of a spider web where the effects are felt elsewhere on the web; in this way there has been an increase in earthquakes and unpredictable weather going back years, even before Planet X entered the solar system, due to the increased swirling of the Earth’s core.

It is therefore logical that an increase in train derailments would accompany any increase in seismic activity – train tracks need to be straight and even the slightest shift to the side of a section of track would cause a train to derail.

The area most affected by train derailments is the stretch zone.  Stretch zone quakes are silent, and people are generally unaware anything is happening, although signs such as booms and trumpet sounds can occur.

This zone stretches from Western Europe across the Eurasian Plate, and also includes the South-East United States, the St. Lawrence Seaway, the Red Sea and the African Rift.

In other parts of the world, shifting ground is more associated with earthquakes that people are aware of, such as the Pacific which is compressing, so authorities inspect railway tracks after any seismic activity, reducing the likelihood of accidents.

Train derailment in El Segundo: Tankers off tracks (Jan 12)
http://mynewsla.com/crime/2017/01/12/train-derailment-in-el-segundo...

Several tanker train cars derailed and overturned in El Segundo Thursday, but there were no immediate reports of injuries or a hazardous materials release.

The derailment was reported about 2:30 p.m. near Douglas Street and Chapman Way, according to El Segundo police.

Firefighters were at the scene taking readings to check for possible leaks.

Some areas around the tracks appeared to be flooded, but it was unclear if the derailment was rain-related and there was no immediate word on what, if anything, was inside the tankers.

A report from the scene indicated they were possibly carrying liquid petroleum.

The derailment prompted the suspension of rail service on Metro’s Green Line between El Segundo and Redondo Beach and buses were requested to shuttle passengers between the stations.

Normal Service on the Green Line resumed about 5 p.m., according to Metro.

Train derails at Conoco Phillips refinery

3:49 PM. CST December 29, 2016

ROXANA, ILL. - Seven cars from a Norfolk Southern Rail train have derailed at the Conoco Phillips refinery in Roxana.

It happened around 9:20 Thursday morning.

Representatives from Norfolk Southern say the train had 63 cars. Seven of those cars derailed with two remaining upright and five cars turned on their sides.

Conoco Phillips officials say one gallon of sulfuric acid spilled, but that had no impact on operations, no environmental impact and no material was spilled in any waterway. Officials say there were no injuries.

They say the train derailed as it was leaving the plant, though it's unclear what caused the accident. This part fo the track leads only to and from the plant, and the crash did not affect other train traffic.

As of 3:45 p.m., three of the derailed cars — including the one that leaked sulfuric acid — have been put back on the track.

The rail company's policy is to not comment on what is being carried unless there is a spill, for security reasons.

New Britain,Connecticut(Dec6) Pan Am freight train derailed outside of a shopping plaza. Cleanup could take days. Officials have been monitoring for possible gases from multiple cars following those were carrying odorless propane and chemical residue http://www.necn.com/news/new-england/Train-Derails-in-New-Britain-4...

The cleanup process after a train derailed in New Britain on Tuesday could take days, city officials said.

Police said a Pan Am freight train derailed outside of a shopping plaza at 150 Columbus Boulevard.

New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart said an on-duty police officer was in the CVS parking lot when they saw seven train cars tip

over and onto the side. No one was hurt, but the location is causing headaches for the city.

“It is quite the traffic nightmare in the area. This is a main thoroughfare of the city,” Stewart said.

The cars that toppled were carrying construction debris that spilled out onto the street, but multiple cars following those

were carrying odorless propane and chemical residue, which created another concern for officials.

Pan Am and the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection responded for cleanup. Officials have been

monitoring for possible gases but there have been no reports of the air being unsafe..."

Train cars carrying flammable chemical derail striking a high-tension electrical tower in East Toledo(Dec 4).
http://www.13abc.com/content/news/Train-derails--404593476.html

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Two tanker cars with a CSX train are at risk of exploding after a train derailment on Toledo's east side. The derailment happened at about 8:00AM Sunday near Wheeling and York.

Those tankers hit a high-tension electrical tower, prompting officials to raise concerns about a potential ignition source for an explosion of the chemical Toluene inside.

According to OSHA, toluene is a clear, colorless liquid which becomes a vapor when exposed to air at room temperature. Toluene is also flammable, and its vapors can be ignited by flames, sparks or other ignition sources.

Toluene is typically used in a mixture with other solvents and chemicals such as paint pigment, nail polish, varnish and gasoline.

Without proper ventilation and safety precautions, toluene can cause irritated eyes, nose, and throat; dry or cracked skin; headache, dizziness, feeling of being drunk, confusion and anxiety.

People in two neighboring buildings have been evacuated as a precaution.

One resident living in the Birmingham neighborhood heard a loud rumble, that shook her house and big sparks could be seen.

According to dispatchers, no one was hurt.

The following roads in the area are blocked: York at Wheeling, Wheeling at Stitt, Paine at Consaul, the 2500 block of Consaul and Seaman at Reed..."

Train Derails Into Canal

A Royal Railway cargo train derailed in Kandal province yesterday and partially  plunged into a nearby canal as it was traveling from Preah Sihanouk province to Phnom Penh, police said.

Kandal province’s police chief Major General Eav Chamroeun said on Facebook that the accident was a result of the train’s sudden braking, resulting in seven cars leaving the tracks.

“The train was braking to reduce its speed. That caused the seven cars, which were not carrying any goods, to derail from its tracks, falling into the canal,” he said, adding that no one was injured in the accident.

He added that Royal Railway will not be facing any charges and the company will be responsible for repairing the train as well as any damage to the tracks.

Since the country’s train services have been slowly restored, a number of accidents have been reported at road crossings and a number of people have been killed after sleeping on the tracks.
