"Stretch zones primarily experience sinking ground, as the support in the rock strata is stretched thin. Thus, buildings implode and gas and water mains break."  ZetaTalk

What happens to rock layers under a diagonal pull, or being pulled apart? As can be seen during recent years, this has resulted in derailing trains, sinkholes suddenly appearing, gas and water main breaks, torn roadways and separating bridges. Despite the effect on man, crawling about on the surface of what they assume to be terra firma, these changes are superficial. When the pulling starts, weak points break and thereafter the plumbing and roadways hold, giving the impression that the pulling has stopped, but this is misleading. The North American continent is giving evidence that its rock layers are separating from each other, and sliding sideways in a diagonal, thus exposing portions of these layers to vent into the air above. If rock is being stressed, then where are the earthquake predictors giving evidence of this, the frantic animals, the static on the radio, the earthquake swarms? Rock in the stretch zone, pulling apart rather than compressing, does not emit the particles flows that animals and radios sense, nor register on instruments are tension and release quakes.

"We have repeatedly stated that the Earth changes will not diminish, but will increase going into the pole shift.

This is not a lineal matter, as the closer Planet X comes to Earth, an inevitable path, the more the torque effect and the polar wobble where the N Pole of Earth is pushed away violently on a daily basis, occur. The wobble will become more pronounced, more violent. The plates are tugged back West of the Atlantic, pulled forward East of the Atlantic, during the daily rotation of the Earth. The North American continent is allowed to roll East during rotation while the S Pole is pulled West, creating the diagonal pull likely to trigger the New Madrid fault line into an adjustment, and soon. The N Pole is pushed away and allowed to bounce back, daily, as the Earth rotates, a wobble that puts stress on all fault lines when the plates are suddenly in motion, and suddenly stopped!

"As there is no other explanation for the effect on the stretch zone, lacking any earthquakes to blame, and as these stretch zone accidents will continue to emerge, and with ferocity, this is a certain clue to those on the fence, that the influence of Planet X is the cause. Or is it Global Warming?"

ZetaTalk Chat Q&A for April 13, 2013

"Sinkholes almost invariably form in areas subject to karst limestone cavern formation. Underground water flows eat away the limestone leaving vast caverns and caves, which often give scant indication above ground that a cavern lies below. Karst limestone rock formations have been mapped and are known, however, but since one never knows just where a cavern might have formed, this provides little help in predicting just where a sinkhole might form. Sinkholes open up when the rock is fractured due to stress from being in the stretch zone, from the bending of a plate, or due to torsion."

Underground garage partially collapses beneath garbage truck in Avalon

Updated: Jul 9, 2016 - 7:15 PM

AVALON, Pa. —

A garbage truck became stuck in Avalon Saturday when the surface beneath it crumbled, leaving behind a gaping hole.

The incident happened at an apartment complex near the intersection of California Avenue and North Chestnut Street.

Photos courtesy of Tomei Towing

Channel 11 News learned that the hole formed due to a partial collapse of an underground garage. Photos from inside the garage show the truck’s rear wheels coming through the roof.

Crews at the scene said the garbage truck was pulling into a parking area where dumpsters are located when the collapse occurred.

Channel 11 News was told that one man fell into the hole, but was treated at the scene and is OK.

Residents of the apartment complex were evacuated while crews worked to remove the truck and assess the stability of the building.

Lakes and rivers mysteriously disappearing increase around the world

The Atoyac river disappears overnight in Mexico
Within the last 3 months or so, newspapers have started reporting increasingly about rivers and lakes that mysteriously and suddenly disappear around the world. Here a compilation of the most baffling incidents.

Let's start this compilation with the Atoyac River, which disappeared overnight drained by a giant 30 meters by 20 meters fissure in the riverbed. The large sink hole cut the water supply to more than 10,000 families for a few days

One month later, in April 2016, two other rivers flowing through the exact same mountainous region of the eastern state of Veracruz, Mexico also began to dry up due to the formation of sinkholes

The flow of the Tliapa and Tlacuapa rivers has been almost shut down due to two large holes in a cascade.
End of March 2016, another giant crater almost drained out a pond and devoured up to 25 tons of fish all of a sudden in China.

A large pond and the fish in it were swallowed by this huge hole in China
Now, closer to us in May 2016, Lake Riesco in Chilean Patagonia has almost dried out within two or three days, transforming this idyllic place into a rock-and-sand landscape. People are still waiting for an official answer to this mystery... Was another sinkhole or a fault line at the origin of the disappearance of this water reservoir

Mid June 2016, official sources report an unprecedented water crisis in the same region of Chile with large lakes and rivers drying up and thus threatening communities and animals living around.

Mystery around Lake Riesco disappearance. Sinkhole? Geological fault? Or lack of rain?
Only during last week, parts of the popular Ogun river in Nigeria - June 17, 2016 - and a Lake Peschёra - June 19, 2016 - disappeared overnight drained out by deep holes in the ground. Moreover, most of Lake Alligator in Florida vanished though giant holes on June 9, 2016.

Lake Peschera was vanished through a deep sinkhole in June 2016.
And what about the Kalamba Lake in Kolhapur which has almost dried up completely for the first time in its 135-year-old existence? From an original size of 63.13 hectares, it is now only 2-3 hectares wide

And what about the mysterious disappearance of parts of the Ogun River in Nigeria?
And what about Lake Poopo, the second largest lake of Bolivia, which has almost completely disappeared

Lake Poopo disappearance is killing thousands of animals
It should also be notified that Lake Waiau, Hawaii's only alpine lake is also mysterious disappearing

Lake Waiau disappears in Hawaii
Is really the extreme El Nino 2015 responsible for all these sinkholes and drying lakes and rivers. Is something else also playing a role? I don't know exactly but something is really going crazy. And mother Earth doesn't like it at all.

Comment: Mysterious indeed. Elsewhere scientists have been baffled by the relentless rise of two Caribbean lakes and off northwest England anew island formed. What is going on?

Bayou Corne faces extinction due to the giant Louisiana sinkhole that keeps on growing

The small town of Bayou Corne faces extinction.

This was caused by the collapse of an underground salt dome operated by Texas Brine.

The evacuation was ordered due to escape of Methane gas as a result of the disruption.

This is a report for America Tonight on Aljazeera America.

The two massive and mysterious Texas sinkholes on the verge of creating one colossal lake

  • Scientists at Southern Methodist University have issued a sober warning for the citizens of Wink and Kermit, Texas
  • The two communities, which have a combined population of nearly 7,000, are home to two large sinkholes
  • Both of the sinkholes are growing and are causing the area around them to become more unstable
  • It's likely that another sinkhole will soon form, or that the two will join to create one giant sinkhole

Scientists have issued a grave warning to a small Texas community home to two growing sinkholes.

Geologists at Southern Methodist University say the two sinkholes in Wink and neighboring Kermit, Texas are growing more unstable, and could spark more sinkholes or join to create one massive hole.

This will prove devastating to the local community, which has a combined population of almost 7,000.

Two sinkholes in Texas are growing more unstable, which could lead to the creation of more sinkholes - or one giant sinkhole. Above, a view of the second sinkhole, located in Kermit, Texas

The first sinkhole in Wink, Texas is the smaller of the two but it is also the most unstable, and is growing at a faster rate

SMU researchers Zhong Lu and Jin-Woo Kim recently published their sober warning in a recent article in the journal Remote Sensing.

'This area is heavily populated with oil and gas production equipment and installations, hazardous liquid pipelines, as well as two communities. The intrusion of freshwater to underground can dissolve the interbedded salt layers and accelerate the sinkhole collapse,' co-author Kim said in a press release.

'A collapse could be catastrophic. Following our study, we are collecting more high-resolution satellite data over the sinkholes and neighboring regions to monitor further development and collapse.'

Lu and Kim discovered that the two holes were growing more unstable by using satellite images that measures depressions in the earth's crust.

The above chart shows that the fastest eroding area is actually not either of the two sinkholes but an area east of sinkhole number two

The city is thought to be at high risk of sinkholes due to its position astride numerous lakes, which the government has filled in over the years to expand the land on which it can build.

The onset of monsoon rains in Phnom Penh this week opened a sinkhole on a busy road close to the iconic Olympic Stadium.

The city is thought to be at high risk of sinkholes due to its position astride numerous lakes, which the government has filled in over the years to expand the land on which it can build.

Residents living close to a large skyscraper project next to the sinkhole have become concerned.

Hout Hang, 60, who saw the road collapse during a rainstorm on Wednesday, said he had watched in amazement as the tarmac gave way.

“It just suddenly happened, and three cars fell into the sinkhole,” he said. “Luckily the cars were just parked there, otherwise, if people were driving, it would be dangerous and could have killed people,” he said.

“I think the construction is too close to the road and that made it collapse,” he added, referring to a nearby construction site.

Prak Heng, 49, a moto-taxi driver, said the collapse had followed hours of torrential rainfall.

“We all went to see what had happened and search for the cars’ owners.”

Se Veoun, 60, a local resident, said the community was now scared that the same could happen on their property.

“Before this huge construction project started, nothing like this happened. If it rains again, sinkholes might happen again, unless the construction is finished.”

The project, which will include luxury homes and condominiums alongside a shopping complex, is being built by the Overseas Cambodia Investment Corporation, directed by tycoon Pung Kheav Se.

In late 2014, a woman was killed while driving by the project when construction materials fell from the site.

A construction worker at the site this week, who declined to be named for fear of losing his job, said he was also worried about the collapse, but did not think the construction was to blame.

City Hall spokesman Mean Chanyada said on Thursday the authority will “urge the construction company to pay close attention to technical standards.”

An OCIC representative was quoted by local media denying a link between the development and the sinkhole.

But Sok Kin, vice president of the Building and Woodworkers Trade Union Federation of Cambodia, said the low quality of the road combined with how close the construction was to the area of collapse were to blame.

“The investor is the one who benefits, yet the people are the victims,” he said.

Massive Sinkhole in Downtown Ottawa Causes Gas Leaks, Evacuations - June 8

Traffic came to a standstill in downtown Ottawa Wednesday morning after a sinkhole left a gaping hole in one of its major thoroughfares.

The hole stretches almost the entire width of Rideau St., across from the busy Rideau Centre shopping mall, at the corner of Sussex Dr.

The cave-in spread from one side of the street to the next, causing a parked black van to fall into the hole at about 11:30 a.m., said Andre da Costa, who was nearby.

“There was this puff of . . . I’m not sure what it was . . . maybe it was water, maybe it was dust in the sinkhole,” he said. “Shortly after that puff of dirt, you could see the car just tilting and then (it) just toppled into the sinkhole taking a light stand with it.”

Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson said the cause of the collapse is not known, but that the excavation for the LRT was located “substantially below” the water main.

The street is likely to be shut down for the next few days as investigators determine the cause of the damage and begin repairs, said Chief Anthony Di Monte, with Ottawa Paramedic Services.

Nearby buildings were evacuated due to concerns about a gas leak, the city said on Twitter. Hodder had to make his way out onto the roof of the Rideau Centre, which is located some five storeys below his office.

“The smell of gas was overwhelming,” he said.

Hodder and his colleagues navigated their way through the darkened shopping mall, which was lit by emergency lights and the sunlight that poured in through skylights.

Large Sinkhole Closes Interstate 5 Near Tracy CA; Cause Under Investigation

http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2016/05/31/sinkhole-closes-nb-i-5-ne...

VERNALIS (CBS13) – A sinkhole along Interstate 5 in San Joaquin County is diverting traffic.

The sinkhole is just south of Highway 33, Caltrans says.

Northbound I-5 at Highway 132 will be closed for at least two to three days due to the sinkhole. A detour has been set up at Highway 33.

A Caltrans maintenance crew found the small hole on Tuesday morning, but that hole wouldn’t stay small for long. Caltrans says the hole was 15 feet and growing and crews will have to tear apart the roadway to find the source of the sinkhole.

How deep they will have to dig will be debatable—potentially up to 20 feet.

An irrigation pipe underneath could potentially have played a role, but crews are still investigating.

The road is expected to be closed through Thursday.
