ZETATALK: THE STRETCH ZONE, THAT SINKING FEELING

ZetaTalk explores the concept of Earth's "stretch zones"—regions where tectonic plates are being pulled apart due to planetary forces, particularly in anticipation of a predicted pole shift. It focuses heavily on the eastern seaboard of the U.S., the Caribbean, and parts of Europe, warning that these areas will experience significant land subsidence due to the widening of the Atlantic Rift.

Key points include:

  • Historical evidence of submerged forests and civilizations off the U.S. East Coast and Bermuda.

  • Predictions that areas like Florida, Georgia, and the UK will lose elevation and be permanently flooded.

  • A detailed catalog of sinkholes, train derailments, infrastructure collapses, and mysterious odors from 2004–2005, interpreted as signs of Earth stretching.

  • The concept of “imploding cities”, where underground infrastructure fails due to shifting rock layers.

  • Warnings to relocate from vulnerable coastal and low-lying areas before the pole shift occurs.

One Body Retrieved From The South C Collapsed Building

Rescue missions on the collapsed South C building undergoing on Sunday, January 4, 2025.

Rescue teams have successfully retrieved one body from the rubble of a collapsed 16-storey building in South C as the search for a second victim enters its third day.

The recovery operation, which began after the building collapsed along Muhoho Road on Friday, January 2, has been marked by caution and precision as multi-agency teams work tirelessly to locate the remaining victim.

Lang'ata MP Phelix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang'o, described the incident as a tragic start to the year.

"This is a tragic and unacceptable way to begin the year. At approximately 5:00 a.m. today, a 16-storey building under construction collapsed along Muhoho Road in South C, Lang'ata Constituency, leaving several people trapped beneath the rubble," Jalang'o said.

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino called for systemic reforms following the collapse.

"We demand stronger enforcement mechanisms in Nairobi City County to ensure that every structure meets the highest safety standards, not just those with connections. Lives cannot be rebuilt. But systems can," Babu said.

The Kenya Red Cross confirmed that the area has been cordoned off as search and rescue operations continue.

Authorities have raised concerns about a nearby building potentially collapsing due to structural movements caused by the incident.

NMDU said the safety of the neighbouring structure will be evaluated by the National Construction Authority (NCA) once response teams finish operations on the first and ground floors.

Landslip road closes for year-long safety works

Previous landslips have blocked the road between Melbury Abbas and Cann Common

A stretch of road affected by landslips has closed for stabilisation works, expected to take a year.

Dorset Council previously said there was a risk of a fatality on the C13 at Dinah's Hollow, near Shaftesbury, Dorset unless tree felling and stabilisation works went ahead.

The road will be closed between Boundary Road and the B3081, with access for residents and emergency services between Boundary Lane and West Lane.

The C13 is a key north-south route for Dorset. Previous landslips have completely blocked the road and concrete safety barriers are in place to mitigate any further collapse.

During the closure, a diversion route will be in place on the A350 but HGVs travelling southbound will be directed along the A30 to Shaftesbury then on to Stalbridge and the A357 to re-join the A350 south of Steepleton Bends.

Other measures, including one-way systems and temporary 20mph speed limits, will be in place to support the flow of traffic in villages affected by the diversions.

Jon Andrews, cabinet member for place services at Dorset Council, said: "This is a vital safety project to protect everyone who uses the C13 and to make sure this route remains resilient for the future.

"We recognise these works will affect travel, so we have reviewed all options and developed a comprehensive package of traffic management measures.

JOHANNESBURG -- Three people, including a one-year-old child, died when a two-story building collapsed in South Africa's Soweto township, west of Johannesburg, in the early hours of Sunday morning, authorities said.

Three others sustained injuries during the incident and were receiving treatment at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.

According to authorities, a total of six people were inside the building when it collapsed and emergency personnel rescued the three people injured who were trapped under the rubble.

“Tragically, three lives were lost in this incident, two adult females and one child. The incident has been handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation,” said Xolile Khumalo, spokesperson for Johannesburg Emergency Management Services.

On Dec. 12, five people died when a multistory building at the site of a Hindu temple collapsed near the coastal city of Durban.

The building was being constructed on top of the temple in the town of Verulam, about 25 kilometers (15 miles) north of Durban, when it collapsed.

One person was reported dead at the time, but search teams later pulled four more bodies from the rubble, bringing the death toll to five.

Egypt: Eight Killed in Building Collapse

Eight people were killed in the collapse of a five-storey residential building in Egypt’s Giza governorate, south of Cairo, local media reported on Thursday.

According to news website Ahram Online, which provided the updated toll, rescue teams recovered the body of the last missing person after two days of search and debris-removal operations.

The building collapsed on Tuesday evening in Imbaba, a densely populated district of Giza, causing damage to several adjacent buildings, which were evacuated as a precaution pending safety assessments.

In a statement published on social media, authorities said debris removal was carried out manually, as the narrow street where the building was located prevented the use of heavy machinery.

A committee of specialized engineers has been tasked with investigating the causes of the collapse, particularly to determine whether the building had undergone unauthorized modifications or violated urban planning regulations.

Wall collapse forces emergency response at Paris finance office

WAND Digital Team

Dec 20, 2025 Updated 15 hrs ago

PARIS, Ill. (WAND) — Firefighters worked for hours to empty out a finance office in Paris after a wall collapsed Thursday.

According to Paris Fire Chief Zack Janis, crews responded just before 9 a.m. to reports of a wall collapse at 126 N. Main Street. The building is occupied by World Finance, a financial service that offers loans and tax preparation services.

Firefighters found the northeast wall, which is about 40-50 feet long, had fallen outward. Nobody was inside the building when it happened.

Power and gas services were disconnected, and firefighters used a drone to assess the damage.

Janis said due to the extent of the collapse and the wind conditions, it was not possible to secure or cover the exposed building. Instead, the chief said the safest course of action was to remove critical items from the building.

Using a U-Haul arranged by the company, firefighters were able to empty the building using dollies after about an hour and a half.

Janis said structural evaluations of the property are underway, and the area should be avoided.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Highway 6 is closed indefinitely due to a landslide and a sunken roadway between mileposts 27 and 42, cutting off travel between Portland and Tillamook on the Oregon coast.

The landslide occurred about four miles west of Glenwood, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

Drivers heading to Tillamook will need to use Highway 26 or Highway 30 as alternate routes. Highway 101 is closed between the Highway 18 interchange and Neskowin because of a landslide, while Highway 22 remains open but has several areas of high water.

Drivers should use caution if they need to travel anywhere in northwest Oregon and visit TripCheck.com beforehand, ODOT said.

This is a developing story and will be updated with more details as they emerge.
