ZETATALK: THE STRETCH ZONE, THAT SINKING FEELING

ZetaTalk explores the concept of Earth's "stretch zones"—regions where tectonic plates are being pulled apart due to planetary forces, particularly in anticipation of a predicted pole shift. It focuses heavily on the eastern seaboard of the U.S., the Caribbean, and parts of Europe, warning that these areas will experience significant land subsidence due to the widening of the Atlantic Rift.

Key points include:

  • Historical evidence of submerged forests and civilizations off the U.S. East Coast and Bermuda.

  • Predictions that areas like Florida, Georgia, and the UK will lose elevation and be permanently flooded.

  • A detailed catalog of sinkholes, train derailments, infrastructure collapses, and mysterious odors from 2004–2005, interpreted as signs of Earth stretching.

  • The concept of “imploding cities”, where underground infrastructure fails due to shifting rock layers.

  • Warnings to relocate from vulnerable coastal and low-lying areas before the pole shift occurs.

Parking garage collapses at Wilson Hospital in JC

7:22 p.m. EDT July 16, 2015

JOHNSON CITY -- A two-level parking garage collapsed Thursday afternoon at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, drawing crowds of panicked witnesses and bystanders.

A section of the concrete caved in on top of vehicles on the bottom level of the two-level garage at 55 Baldwin St. Several cars were trapped under the collapsed section, with more on the collapsed upper section.

Officials said they were not aware of any fatalities in the incident and did not know if there were injuries or how many vehicles were damaged.

"We can always replace cars and structures," Broome County Executive Debbie Preston said at the scene.

The Village of Johnson City declared a state of emergency, banning unauthorized personnel on Main Street between Baldwin and Arch streets, Baldwin between Main and Corliss streets, Corliss between Baldwin and Arch, and Arch between Main and Corliss.

A crane and other construction equipment have been brought to the scene to begin dealing with the slabs of collapsed concrete.

The Broome County Sheriff’s Office and Johnson City Police are asking people to avoid traveling on Main Street near Wilson Hospital.

The collapse was reported about 3:15 p.m. Thursday. There was no immediate word of injuries or entrapment.

A structural engineer will examine the garage, Johnson City Mayor Greg Deemie said.

This story is being updated. Check back for updates.

The Broome County Office of Emergency services reported that UHS Wilson was fully functional and that emergency room patients were asked to use the Decker entrance on Harrison Street.

On Thursday afternoon, panicked bystanders crowded around yellow police tape asking each other if anyone's car was parked there. Firefighters surrounded the damaged structure while police identified witnesses.

Emergency sirens blared in the background, almost deafening at times.

Witnesses described the collapse as a moment of terrifying chaos.

Havana building collapse kills 4

Posted: Jul 16, 2015 12:13 PM EDTUpdated: Jul 16, 2015 12:13 PM EDT

HAVANA (AP) -- Cuban officials say a building has collapsed in Old Havana, killing four people.

A government statement published in the Communist Party daily Granma says the two-story building contained two family homes.

The dead include a 3-year-old child, two 18-year-olds and a 60-year-old woman. Three other people sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.

Authorities said Thursday they were investigating what caused the structure's "total collapse" the previous day, including whether remodeling being done on the first floor was legal.

The colonial neighborhood contains most of Havana's oldest buildings.

Many are sorely decayed for lack of maintenance and vulnerable to partial or complete structural failures that are regularly triggered by heavy rains.

MOSCOW — The ceiling of a Russian military barracks collapsed in Siberia on Monday, causing four stories to crumble and killing 23 young men trapped inside.

Rescuers searched for hours for victims trapped under the debris of an airborne troops training centre in Omsk following the collapse that occurred in the early hours of the morning.

Nineteen people were injured. Authorities sent 10 seriously injured victims to Moscow for treatment while the Kremlin offered condolences to the families of the deceased.

The defence ministry wouldn’t speculate on the cause of the accident but the footage and video from the scene showed an entire section of the building lying in ruins. Ministry spokesman Gen.-Maj. Igor Konashenkov said the building was renovated in 2013 but he insisted that could not have caused the collapse.

Residential Building Collapses in Perm, Killing 2

mchs.gov.ru

A section of a five-story apartment building collapsed in the Russian city of Perm on Saturday night, killing two septuagenarians and injuring four other residents, the Interfax news agency reported.

"Six people were affected by the collapse: two have died, two were treated on the spot, and two people were hospitalized in moderately grave conditions," Health Ministry spokesman Oleg Salagay told Interfax.

Both of the victims were reportedly in their twilight years — one, who died in the hospital, was born in 1938 and the other, whose body was found amid the rubble of the fallen building, was born in 1941.

Interfax reported that renovations of an office on the first floor of the building — which could have taken a toll on its load-bearing capacity — may have been to blame.

A criminal case has been launched on charges of rendering services that failed to meet safety standards. The executive director of the organization responsible for maintaining the Soviet-era brick building was detained and interrogated Sunday morning.

Residents were quickly evacuated from the building, though some have already been permitted to return home based on investigations of different sections of the building.

Mathematical Institute Collapses in Central Tbilisi, Kills Four

Several floors of the Mathematical Institute located on Apakidze street behind the Sports Palace collapsed earlier today, killing four people.
The Special security and Emergency Management Agency claim that the four people who died in the collapse were workers who were dismantling the building. Three died at the time of the collapse while a fourth person was taken to hospital with injuries and died shortly after.

According to the same Agency, the building collapsed in the early afternoon. Locals claim the building had recently been privatized and the owner was planning to build a hotel in its place.

Georgia’s Interior Ministry launched an investigation into the incident according to Article 240 of Georgia’s Criminal Code, which refers to violation of security regulations while conducting construction or other kinds of work.

Twelve Dead in China Factory Collapse

W460

Twelve people died after a shoe factory collapsed in eastern China, state media reported Sunday, with more than 40 escaping on their own or being rescued.

More than 50 people were in the four-story building in the city of Wenling in Zhejiang province when it came down on Saturday afternoon, the official Xinhua news agency reported.

Thirty-three suffered injuries, four of them serious, the report said. Nine others escaped unharmed, it added.

The cause of the collapse was being investigated.

"There was no premonition," the report quoted worker Yang Zhongkun as saying. "I heard a 'bang' and saw the building collapse."

Yang added that water flowed down from a large fishing pool on the roof of the building, while other employees said leaking water was reported before the building gave way, Xinhua said.

A total of 53 fire trucks, 302 rescuers and five rescue dogs responded to the collapse, the report said.

Photos circulating on Chinese social media showed a man being carried on a stretcher by what appeared to be police officers, while rescuers and other personnel stood on top of the rubble.

Building collapses and other industrial accidents are not uncommon in China, where many structures and facilities are old, safety procedures can be lax and rebuilding has not kept up with the country's remarkable economic growth.

China's top safety watchdog in May blamed poor construction and weak safety standards for a fire at a nursing home that left 38 people dead.

In April, almost 30,000 people were evacuated after a fire broke out in a Chinese chemical plant which blazed for nearly 50 hours before the flames were finally extinguished.

And in November, a fire at a coal mine in northeastern China killed 26 workers, in one of the country's most highly accident-prone industries.
