ZETATALK: THE STRETCH ZONE, THAT SINKING FEELING

ZetaTalk explores the concept of Earth's "stretch zones"—regions where tectonic plates are being pulled apart due to planetary forces, particularly in anticipation of a predicted pole shift. It focuses heavily on the eastern seaboard of the U.S., the Caribbean, and parts of Europe, warning that these areas will experience significant land subsidence due to the widening of the Atlantic Rift.

Key points include:

  • Historical evidence of submerged forests and civilizations off the U.S. East Coast and Bermuda.

  • Predictions that areas like Florida, Georgia, and the UK will lose elevation and be permanently flooded.

  • A detailed catalog of sinkholes, train derailments, infrastructure collapses, and mysterious odors from 2004–2005, interpreted as signs of Earth stretching.

  • The concept of “imploding cities”, where underground infrastructure fails due to shifting rock layers.

  • Warnings to relocate from vulnerable coastal and low-lying areas before the pole shift occurs.

Industrial accident: Firemen working at the factory site in Bayan Lepas.

GEORGE TOWN: A contractor of a factory in Bayan Lepas has been slapped with a stop-work order after three Bangladeshi workers were injured when the second floor of the six-storey building collapsed during construction.

In the 3pm incident yesterday, the second floor gave way and crashed onto the first floor where the trio were working.

State Fire Department deputy director Mohamed Shoki Hamzah said four fire engines with 14 personnel from Bayan Baru and Jalan Perak rushed to the scene after receiving a distress call at 3.15pm.

“Work will only resume after the investigation is completed. The Department of Safety and Health (DOSH) is satisfied with the safety procedures of the contractor,” he said during a press conference at the site yesterday.

Piece of building mural falls onto law office in downtown West Palm Beach, injuring 4

An apartment building's bricks tumbled off when its facade collapsed Thursday in West Palm Beach, causing four people to suffer minor injuries, officials said.

A portion of the mural façade of Alexander Lofts apartment building broke away about 11 a.m., sending bricks from the six-story complex down through the roof of a small law office building below.

Three of those injured worked at the Law Offices of William W. Price, at 320 Fern St., officials said. They were sent to Good Samaritan Medical Center. A fire official said she was unsure where the fourth person injured was when the accident happened.

The apartment complex at 326 Fern St. and the office were evacuated. They will be closed for at least three days, while city officials examine the apartment building. Nearby streets also will be closed, and nearby construction has stopped.

The 1926 building is covered with a brick façade that is tied to an interior wall by metal attachments, said Elliot Cohen, communications director for the city of West Palm Beach. A failure of those attachments caused a piece of the brick wall to fall.

"Those metal attachments have rusted away," Cohen said. "The wall separated because the attachments failed."

Diana Matty, assistant West Palm Beach fire chief, said that the scene is not safe and more bricks could fall.

"We're not allowing entry into the [apartment] building," she said. She added that the law office has significant damage to its roof, four rooms and a hallway.

"The roof is definitely going to have to be redone," she said during a news conference.

Officials say that 76 of the 85 apartment units are rented and those who are displaced can contact the Red Cross for short-term housing assistance.

"Many people along with their pets are displaced," said Robin Hicks Nunley, executive director of Palm Beach and Martin Counties American Red Cross. "We will meet with them and provide whatever comfort we can that addresses what they're experiencing right now."

According to documents, the building used to be the southern headquarters for Southern Bell. It was given a historic designation in 2008.

The building is owned by Ram Realty of Palm Beach Gardens. The former warehouse is now home to 85 units ranging from studios to two bedrooms, starting at $1,300.

Los Angeles artist Tristan Eaton painted his largest mural called "The Spirit of Communication" on the side of the Alexander Lofts building. The colorful piece covers 8,000 square-feet and is a tribute to Alexander Graham Bell.

Eaton said in an e-mail that "we will be fixing the mural once the wall is fixed and safe to continue work on."

3 killed, 3 injured in Partial Building Collapse in Casablanca

Rabat – A building under construction in Casablanca caved in on Monday, killing 3 construction workers and injuring 3 others. The building pancaked from the fourth floor to the basement level. A statement by the fire department said three workers were immediately killed in the collapse, while three others were seriously injured after they were trapped beneath the rubble for hours. “The three injured people were transported to the hospital and their condition is stable,” delegate of the Health Ministry to the district of Ain Chock, Lamia Hassani, told media following the incident. While it remains unclear until now what caused the collapse, buildings officials said the company had all the necessary permits for the construction.
