China: giant sinkhole depth of 30 meters in Liaobu, Dongguan

08.09.12. Giant sinkhole depth of 30 meters opened on furniture factory in Liaobu, Dongguan. The hole of 1800 square meters swallowed a car, from the factory was evacuated 80 workers, no one was hurt. Currently, the causes of the accident are being investigated. Workers said, that a few months before the accident appeared cracks.  Supposedly, the cause of the accident could be underground blasting works during the urban rail construction.
