ZETATALK: THE STRETCH ZONE, THAT SINKING FEELING

ZetaTalk explores the concept of Earth's "stretch zones"—regions where tectonic plates are being pulled apart due to planetary forces, particularly in anticipation of a predicted pole shift. It focuses heavily on the eastern seaboard of the U.S., the Caribbean, and parts of Europe, warning that these areas will experience significant land subsidence due to the widening of the Atlantic Rift.

Key points include:

  • Historical evidence of submerged forests and civilizations off the U.S. East Coast and Bermuda.

  • Predictions that areas like Florida, Georgia, and the UK will lose elevation and be permanently flooded.

  • A detailed catalog of sinkholes, train derailments, infrastructure collapses, and mysterious odors from 2004–2005, interpreted as signs of Earth stretching.

  • The concept of “imploding cities”, where underground infrastructure fails due to shifting rock layers.

  • Warnings to relocate from vulnerable coastal and low-lying areas before the pole shift occurs.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Highway 6 is closed indefinitely due to a landslide and a sunken roadway between mileposts 27 and 42, cutting off travel between Portland and Tillamook on the Oregon coast.

The landslide occurred about four miles west of Glenwood, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

Drivers heading to Tillamook will need to use Highway 26 or Highway 30 as alternate routes. Highway 101 is closed between the Highway 18 interchange and Neskowin because of a landslide, while Highway 22 remains open but has several areas of high water.

Drivers should use caution if they need to travel anywhere in northwest Oregon and visit TripCheck.com beforehand, ODOT said.

This is a developing story and will be updated with more details as they emerge.

Ubud, Bali, Indonesia...

Ubud Bali’s Main Street Closed by Bridge Collapse

Ubud, Bali’s already horrendous traffic congestion has worsened with the closure of the village’s main street, Jalan Raya Ubud, following the collapse of the bridge adjacent to Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) on Thursday afternoon, 18 December 2025.

Flash flood waters undermined the under-bridge conduit on the main street of Ubud, closing the road to traffic until repairs can be made.

Quoted by Balipost.com, the Head of Public Works and Zoning (PUPR) for Gianyar Regency, Dewa Gede Putra Hartawan, has confirmed the damage and closure of one of the province’s main roadways running through the center of Ubud, the busy business and cultural center of the Island. The flash flood caused half of the roadway to collapse and compromised the integrity of the entire bridge.

“The road has collapsed adjacent to the BRI, affecting a provincial roadway. For reasons of safety, we have temporarily closed access to the area to all traffic as the sinkhole on the road continues to expand,” said Hartawan.

The asphalt covering the roadway has collapsed because the conduit beneath it has been largely washed away. The water conduit under the road was overwhelmed by flash flooding.

A barricade and police line closing the road was quickly put in place, with all traffic now detoured via surrounding, smaller roads. The public traveling to and from Ubud’s Center is advised to expect delays and to seek alternative routes.

Because Ubud’s Main Street is designated as a Provincial roadway, the PUPR of Gianyar Regency is coordinating permanent repairs with Provincial Authorities. Until repairs can be carried out, the road will remain closed for an indefinite period, the duration of which has yet to be determined.

Scaffolding collapses onto parked cars

Scaffolding has collapsed onto a city street creating a scene one resident described as "madness".

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said no one was injured in the incident on First Avenue in Hove on Thursday.

Photos collected by BBC reporters on the scene showed multiple cars damaged by the metal poles.

Michael Carey, who lives nearby, told BBC Radio Sussex it was "dramatic", adding: "It feels a bit mental. It's lucky that no one was walking past or in the cars."

The incident comes amid a Met Office yellow weather warning for rain in southern England.

Mr Carey said one car looked "completely crushed", the scaffolding was "wrecked" and the glasswork and balconies on buildings were damaged.

"Madness", he told BBC Radio Sussex.

Firefighters said they were called to the incident just before 13:30 GMT, with one fire engine from Preston Circus in attendance.

Crews attended the scene, liaised with police and the area was cordoned off, they added.

The fire service said they left the scene just after 15:00, handing over to the main building contractor.

Mimi Hodgkins, who lives next to scaffolding in Adelaide mansions, told the BBC she did not hear anything.

She said she was "really surprised" to see what happened, with a "lot of police" in attendance.

"It's very windy, very dangerous actually," she said.

"I was lucky that I didn't park my car there... even if you were passing there, you could really be killed."

State of Emergency: Major flooding closes Bonner County road as authorities assist residents

BONNER COUNTY, Idaho — An atmospheric river that recently brought above-average precipitation to areas of Northern Idaho has caused major flooding in the Clark Fork drainage east of Lake Pend Oreille and prompted local officials to issue a State of Emergency.

The flooding has closed East Spring Creek Road in Bonner County, and some residents have been prevented from leaving their homes due to the rising waters.

Some roadways have also seen severe erosion due to overflowing creeks and rivers.

A release from the Bonner County Sheriff's Office states that "affected residents have been contacted and services offered to assist them in leaving the area."

Access to the area is "extremely limited," and authorities are asking the public to avoid the area as crews work to help residents safely leave the affected areas.

The closure is expected to last for "an extended period of time."

Additional rain and mountain runoff are expected over the coming days.

Seo-gu, South Korea

Rescue operations are underway for 3 construction workers still trapped at the collapsed site of a public library under construction in Gwangju, after one worker pulled out earlier was pronounced dead.

The incident, reported at 1:58 p.m., occurred at the construction site of a library in Seo-gu, Gwangju, when a steel structure on the second-floor of the building collapsed.

This led to 4 of the 97 workers at the site being trapped, according to the Gwangju Fire Headquarters.

A 47-year-old worker was pulled out from the site and taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, where he was pronounced dead. Rescue officials have confirmed the location of one of the trapped workers, but the other 2 remain unaccounted for.

Authorities said the collapse appears to have occurred sequentially, with failures reported from the top floor down to the sublevels.

Heavy downpours have affected Istanbul. Streets and avenues in the megacity have turned into lakes. In some districts where flooding occurred, vehicles were submerged. In Sarıyer, due to the heavy rainfall, a parked pickup truck and a van fell into a stream as the road collapsed. In the same area, the overflowing waters reached the basement of a nearby restaurant, rendering the establishment unusable.

The Istanbul Governorship issued a yellow-coded meteorological warning due to the expected thunderstorms and heavy rain across the city, and since the night hours, strong rainfall has been effective in the megacity.

ROAD COLLAPSED, TWO VEHICLES FELL INTO THE STREAM

The heavy downpour that was effective in the Kilyos area of the Sarıyer district caused stream overflow and infrastructure problems. A road collapse occurred at the Kilyos Tunnel construction site built by ICA; as a result of the collapse, a pickup truck and a van were swept into the stream.

RESTAURANT FLOODED

The overflowing waters in the same area reached the basement of a nearby restaurant, rendering the business unusable. Due to the flood, meters of water accumulated in the restaurant's garden and basement. The business owner, Hakan Kaptan, stated that the situation they experienced while closing the business and going home at night caused a significant loss for them. Kaptan said, "The stream was blocked by tunnel construction, and a road was built over it. This business, which has been serving for 11 years, has been flooded for the first time. We heard an explosion sound in the basement due to electricity and cables, we were scared. Our 40 employees were confused about what to do," he said.
