Two dead and six wounded leaves a bridge collapse
Two people were killed and six others were injured in the collapse of the metal structure of a bridge under construction at kilometer 121 of the path to Taxisco Chiquimulilla, Santa Rosa, lifeguards reported.

This probably deserves its own blog, but since I'm at work, just posting link here. Panama sinking, article in MSM. Blames 7inch sea level rise, which would not be an evacuation scenario.

After the7.9 Quake of Costa Rica, Central America. some beaches on the pacific ocean in Playa Zamara,  Guanacaste gain 15m /49.2 ft of sand,  and other get cracks in the sand,   and a river in Nicoya changed their water color to Red, and is coloring the sea too:

Nine dead as storms rip across South America

ASUNCION: Fierce storms packing 140-kilometre (87-mile) an hour winds tore across the heart of South America on Wednesday, killing five people in Paraguay, two in Uruguay and two in Bolivia.

The Roque Alonso suburb of the Paraguayan capital Asuncion was devastated by the storm and widespread looting was reported in its aftermath.
