Within the ZetaTalk framework, the “Petrol” mechanism is presented as a sequence in which hydrocarbon-like material in Nibiru’s tail encounters Earth’s atmosphere, producing different effects depending on whether it has ignited.

1. Petrol arrives with the tail

ZetaTalk Newsletter describes Nibiru’s vast tail as increasingly “wafting” toward Earth and associates the arriving tail material with Petrol displays. [zetatalk.com]

2. Oxygen permits ignition

The key transition in ZetaTalk’s explanation is contact with atmospheric oxygen. It says Petrol reaching the outer or upper atmosphere can gain enough oxygen to burn or “explode.” [zetatalk.com]

3. Before ignition: dark masses and rainbow sheens

ZetaTalk makes an interesting distinction between lit and unlit Petrol.

Before ignition, it says Petrol may:

• create a rainbow sheen on clouds, or
• appear as a black mass when sufficiently dense and large. [zetatalk.com]

Thus, under the ZetaTalk interpretation, Petrol does not necessarily appear as fire immediately.

4. After ignition: Neon Clouds

Once Petrol encounters oxygen and burns, ZetaTalk associates it with Neon Clouds. It additionally describes Neon Clouds as involving a chemical reaction in the atmosphere caused by Petrol. [zetatalk.com]

5. Larger-scale burning: “Sky Fire” and “Sky Glow”

ZetaTalk distinguishes localized glowing phenomena from a much broader effect. Petrol burning on the upper atmosphere is said to produce Sky Glow, potentially appearing to extend from horizon to horizon. [zetatalk.com]

6. Red Dust can alter the appearance

ZetaTalk further claims that other tail material interacts visually with burning Petrol. Specifically, Red Dust is said to give burning Petrol a red color, while a mixture characterized there as red and blue can produce a green appearance. [zetatalk.com]

7. Claimed residue: water and ice crystals

A February 2026 ZetaTalk Q&A adds another stage. It states that burned Petrol produces water, resulting in ice crystals, and attributes increased reflected sunlight and sundog-like appearances to those crystals. [zetatalk.com]

According to ZetaTalk:

• Debris and Red Dust: ZetaTalk says Nibiru's tail contains both debris and red dust, which can be blown toward Earth as Nibiru changes orientation. [zetatalk.com]
• Petrol masses: The tail is also described as containing “Petrol” masses or bubbles. When this material enters or interacts with Earth's atmosphere, ZetaTalk attributes various “Sky on Fire,” neon-cloud, and colored-sky effects to it. [zetatalk.com], [zetatalk.com]
• Minor moons: ZetaTalk describes Nibiru as having roughly a couple dozen minor moons, with the moons remaining within about 5 million miles of Nibiru and embedded within its debris-cluttered environment. [zetatalk.com]
• Tail reaching toward Earth: More recent ZetaTalk material describes a debris tail extending millions of miles and says debris from that tail has begun reaching Earth. [zetatalk.com], [zetatalk.com]
• Increasing sky effects: Within ZetaTalk's interpretation, fire-like atmospheric displays, red dust, unusual colored skies, “Petrol rainbows,” neon clouds, and other unusual sky phenomena can therefore be interpreted as effects of Nibiru's approaching tail, rather than isolated phenomena. Per ZetaTalk, the debris tail is described as a large, dynamic mixture rather than simply a stream of rocks. ZetaTalk: Tail Debris describes the tail as containing oxidized iron particles and says material in it can stream toward Earth. [zetatalk.com]

Main effects attributed to the tail

1. Red dust ZetaTalk attributes reddish atmospheric or sky effects to iron-rich “Red Dust” carried in the tail. It describes this dust as sometimes obscuring the Nibiru complex and becoming mixed with other tail material. [zetatalk.com], [zetatalk.com]

2. Petrol entering the atmosphere ZetaTalk describes large “Petrol” masses within the tail. When these encounter oxygen in Earth's atmosphere, ZetaTalk says they can ignite, producing what it calls "Sky on Fire” displays. [zetatalk.com], [zetatalk.com]

3. Colored and unusual skies Within this interpretation, burning or unburned Petrol plus Red Dust is used to explain neon clouds, rainbow sheens, green or red skies, dark masses, light effects and broad sky glows. [zetatalk.com]

4. Fireball/debris activity ZetaTalk's basic mechanism is that the tail can be directed toward Earth, bringing its debris and Red Dust with it. The 2024 material specifically says Nibiru's orientation is blowing the debris-filled tail toward Earth. [zetatalk.com]

5. Dust-created optical effects ZetaTalk also says sunlight reflecting from Nibiru's extensive dust cloud can produce apparent Second Sun observations, particularly when the viewing geometry allows sunlight to reflect toward Earth. [zetatalk.com]

6. Moon Swirls The tail is described as containing many moons moving in swirling formations. ZetaTalk calls these Moon Swirls, which can form tube-like structures and configurations described as a “String of Pearls,” “Checkmark,” or “Boomerang.” [zetatalk.com]
