As we have been preparing to cope with the predicted earth changes - how is everyone adjusting so far?

We are hearing of the snow storms in the northern hemisphere and floods and mudslides etc  Are your plans and preparations helping your situation or have they been constantly modified and made flexible.

It would be good to hear stories of your situation as it might help others cope and adapt better.

That's a tricky one, it seems you are being pulled in many directions and will have to face some very real and tough decisions.  Only you can do this and where ever you end up I'm sure it will be for the best.  May you be blessed with loving guidance and endurance.

Thank you Joy for starting this discussion.  I think that this is something that we all truely need.  The times ahead of us are something that will be very difficult for each one of us to face individually.  And yet at the same time we are all facing them together and we also need each others help to get through.  From time to time each of us need the reassurance that we are not alone.

I am a new member.  I started following the Zeta Talk website in November 2010 and yesterday I signed up for this Ning.  I am torn as to what to do.  I am American and my wife is Philipino.  In the Philippines it is desirable to have a member of the family working abroad for economic reasons.  After we were married I returned to the US to continue my employment and my wife stayed in the Philippines with the children.  I have  had access to the resources of this website but my wife does not have Internet access in her home.  As it is, it is hard enough to maintain our marriage with a conversation over the telephone once or twice a week let alone have meaningful conversations about Earth Changes and the coming Pole Shift.  For now my wife thinks it is best for me to work in the US and I feel that she does not understand why I am worried.  I spend a lot of sleepless nights thinking about what is the best thing for me to do for my family.

I think that it is a good idea to maintain this discussion in one form or another as long as we can.  To be able to read about another person's experiences, of what they are doing and how they are making their preparations for the future, and how their lives are being affected personally, makes these events more real to us in our own lives and is a very great source of encouragement by which we can strengthen ourselves and our loved ones.

Thanks again Joy and to Everyone!! God Bless.

Hi Joy,  Thank you for your blessing and your kind words.  You are right about my being pulled in many directions.  Making a decision has been a big problem for me in my life.  Either I jump right in and think about the consequenses later, or I put it off, agonizing over the details of every possible outcome I can imagine.  Sometimes it is like dying a death of a thousand cuts, only it is all happening inside your mind and your heart rather than outside on your flesh. I feel safe when I am occupied with the manusha of the details.  What am I afraid of?  What could I be hiding from?  It is as they say, only you can answer that.

How are you doing?  How are you holding up in the aftermath of Cyclone Yasi?  Blessings to you always.

Life as we know it today throws some pretty rough obstacles in our path and I find that I too get lost in the planning and small details.  I get distracted with ideas and feelings but also stand waiting in patience (or sometimes impatience)  for circumstances to keep up with me.  Finances and time seem to be our main problem but lately I have been thinking 'Why am I in this position at this particular time in life - there are lessons here to be learnt.  I have to look for them.  Over the years we have been preparing mentally and physically for something.  So what ever comes our way we just have to handle it the best way we can at the time.  I know from experience that you can't make a plan and expect it to happen exactly, you can only prepare for probabilities or  scenario's.  I guess its like have a baby, you know its going to be painful, uncomfortable and exhausting but you have no control over it, you have to go with it, let it happen and look forward to the outcome.

Re - cyclone, we are fine but for the people on the coast...... it's going to be a long time before many of them get their life back together - on the positive side though, it has created an opportunity for other people to be caring and 'service-to-other'

I sometimes feel like I have to run just as fast as I can just to stay right where I am. I have moved to a new location, working on preparation, storage, getting the right items, working with the right people, getting ready to help others. It seems, for me, it is about letting go of any preconcieved ideas what should be done and just going with the flow and following hunches. It is not so much about moneyas it is about connections, I think. Not so much about finding the right people as it is about BEING the right people. Not sure where the path will lead, not sure who will be the ones to survive, but at least with good preparations, SOME will survive. And I am really enjoying the path. Also, I might add, I am learning about my own faults, some of which I was not really aware of until  began working closely with a group.

Greetings from El Paso, Texas, and thank you for your writings about your experiences and feelings regarding how we are coping with the approach of Nibiru. I recently became aware of Nibiru and have been researching obsessively since Aug. 15, 2011.  My own experience is somewhat similar to those of you who have been labeled crazy. Last night I e-mailed my nephew in S.Korea with a simple explanation and warning, directing him to Zetatalk.com for him to research on his own. As expected he declared himself a Christian awaiting the rapture, complete denial of the Earth changes. He still plans to fly to Thailand for Christmas to visit a friend, without even looking at videos from a sinking Thailand. My sister suggested that I move to beautiful Northern California where I would develop a positive attitude just by being within a green environment, as opposed to a negative military mentality here in the desert. I had to laugh at her logic, since I've been a peace nic and anti-war ever since Viet Nam. My awakening has led me on quite an adventure, tangents leading to truth movements in health, politics, false flag events, NWO/Illuminati, and now Nibiru. The Earth is telling us what is true and very soon everyone on the planet will see with the naked eye what is the cause. I for one appreciate the heads-up the Zetas have given us, but at 58 years old, I just want to live to see the pole shift. My safe location makes the odds pretty good of surviving the PS. There will be no need for a revolution (OWS or Arab Spring) as the Great Equalizer will be Nibiru. I would want to be a part of rebuilding our new world, but my wife doesn't want to live in the coming Dark Ages. On the one hand, without my best friend and partner I don't see the point in living. On the other hand, what a challenge to survive in the wilderness without modern technology. Once again, my wife reminds me that my ego is at play here. This makes me reflect on what is the lesson I am supposed to learn from this end of the world scenario? Am I here in school house Earth to feel the emotions of suffering, death, hunger, starvation, abandonement, even ridicule? Am I not supposed to warn others, so they may not lose their own lessons? Do I wait for the shit to hit the fan, then calmly offer comfort and aid to survivors? As I read other perspectives I become a little more aware. Sometimes I picture a family in a four wheeler, fully loaded with camping and survival gear arriving at a safe location, only to be squashed by a giant asteroid, or suffocate from volcanic ash. I do worry about marauding gangs armed to the max, going door-to-door scavenging for food when it becomes every man for himself in the city. I guess the ultimate test of this Earth lesson will be how I react to the changes when they happen. No matter how many supplies one stocks, the amount will be finite and will last temporarily. The true survivors will need to manage long-term by their wits and a little bit of good fortune. I wish you well and pray that the wisdom you were endowed with lays the foundation for a brave new and just world. God bless us all.

well I haev started buying things here and there that do not need batteries or non-renewable fuels..like a ligher. I got a crank flash light and a maginessiam fire maker. Just to name a few things. As for shelter...after thing have calmed down...i think a cheat-0 tent from wal-mart is unwise as it will tear and dry rot in a short time. So i am looking into other options in that regaurd.....any ideas?

I think  that knowledge, and hand tools are very important.  there will be much destruction but also ample building materials to reconstruct a shelter. storing food only goes so far. learning how to raise or find your own food source is more useful. helping one another with love in your heart. will make the mundane tasks of day to day survival  bearable.  God Speed.  PA.

@riding the cusp,

when I first posted about my confusion as to my role or function after the pole shift, a member graciously reassured me that I am exactly where I need to be, and already prepared for my role. At first i was even more confused, but now I understand, and as you said, "it seems more important to practice STO and have an appropriate attitude." Your calming peace will be the example and your attitude will allow for strong leadership by that example. Be safe and God bless you.

@SuzanneM.Hamilton,

How about a nice, toasty tentstove ... this very informative site also has some great tents (canvas roof atleast helps with condensation).    http://www.walltentshop.com/CatStoves.html     Best of luck to all with preps!

Our update as to how we are coping now...

1.  Moved location after finding this site in April 2011 from 30 metres above sea level to now 1100 metres above sea level

2.  Have bought food to last more than 12 months.  Tinned food, containers to put it in etc etc.  About to buy food for others now, as I just know we will be finding survivors that had no idea what was coming.

3.  Have bought non hybrid seeds, but need to buy more.

4.  Have sold a business and now unemployed... and loving it

5.  Have hired shipping containers to survive the shift... these will be buried with 1-2 metres over roof on the side of a hill with doors facing out.  There is more to this as there is a bigger better plan evolving which includes a environmental blended habitat that does not draw attention to us.

6.  Purchased a hydro electric generator... but don't understand electrics, so am going to learn how to run a complete 12 volt system like Nancy has said.

7.  Purchased 2 way radios x 4 and earbuds, so we can talk to each other without anyone else hearing a speaker blaring.

8.  Purchased "protection devices" and are very aware that we need to be diligent about our own personal security.

9.  Purchased LED Lenser torches, and rechargeable batteries, these torches are extremely efficient, we have tried to standardise as much of the equipment as possible, so it is interchangeable if it...   WHEN it breaks.

10.  Am now looking for a First Aid Trauma kit, for ourselves and others.

Have times where I get an overwhelming urge to "move" and do something.  This has been happening several times in the past few months.  I am listening and acting on hunches and gut instinct now, and this week will be building a chicken coop, and planting a garden.  Read a great book called "One Straw Revolution" by a japanese farmer that was able to out produce the best farms in the USA, with his simple and earth loving philosophy.

My initial fear has been replaced with an urgency of preparation, and Nancy, the Zetas and the people in the Ning have all helped tremendously.

Love to you all, thanks Joy for a thoughtful blog, good on ya mate !!

You're so very welcome Murray and so good to hear that things are progressing well!

I am so glad people are able to post here as well as help each other work their way through their steps. I'm sure many of us who are reading these blogs can relate to these situations - Don't be shy ning members, add your thoughts or concerns here as well, there is much support here if you need it.

I hear you, my husband too is a non-believer. We live in Perth, Western Australia which will be underwater by the time the shift happens, as will 2/3 of Australia! We NEED to be on the eastern coast (which we only moved from in Jan this year) to be in a safe zone.  I have known of this shift for around 3 mths now, have been watching and learning to see what will happen and IF it is real. The closer the time gets, the more things I notice (as I am watching)....  My plan is to obtain a network of people to talk too, to work over things. Find a safe zone. Make a list of what we need to do and get. Start to get those things (in secret if need be). Do a first aid course.. Thankfully my kids are as 'aware' as they can be at this stage, I need them to be prepared as well, but they are only young.  THEN one day, we will wake up; and Perth will be starting to fill with water - and that day my husband to look at me and say OK.... and we will leave, and I will have done it all.  Its not fair I know, but what else can you do when you have someone in your house who does not believe!?

I have two back packs and a duffel bag full of supplies. Along with containers of water and packages of seeds. But still not able to move to a safe location. My husband is a non-believer. I have spoken to him in the past about the pole shift and what it entails. And....... he shook his head and called me CRAZY and threatened to put me in the BIG HOUSE!!!! So needless to say, I have refrained from telling him anything else. So, my plan is........ I live in Kentucky which is on the NEW MADRID FAULT line. As we all know, there are going to be adjustments soon. So, hopefully this will be a WAKE UP CALL !!! And together, family and all, we can finally plan our safe location before it is too late!!!

Hi all,

I'm not sure how I ended up on ZT, but obviously I was meant too.

My story:  non-believing husband, and two young children.  My girls are my reason to survive this. We are only NOW talking about it, as they have been hearing my conversations with the hubby and are asking questions. I'm not sure where my husband lies on the issue, but I did tell him that if he wants me to believe that this wont happen, he needs to prove it too me, as I have enough proof to show it that it will - if only he would let me.

I am a uni student, I have an exam in 2 weeks and yet I spend most of my days in here looking at things to help me decide on where to go and when.  We live in Western Australia, so we need to move east; unfortunetly, we only just moved from over there in Jan!!!  I wonder if I would have stumbled across this information if we didn't move?  I am now debating on if too stop studying next year and go back to work to earn the money to buy supplies.

As for supplies, we have nothing. I am hoping this shift does not occur in the beg of the year, as we are just not ready - mind or supplies!  I have started a list though, and as of this week will be beginning to purchase small items that are not too much of a stretch on the budget just yet.  I have read of a couple of people who have gotten loans to buy items, I dont think this is a bad idea - I see it as the only way that we are able to do this.  Chris has some wonderful Ideas, and I would so love to pick his brain some more!   I will be taking our dog, he is a great guard and snake dog, so I feel he will be able to protect us (or act as a warning signal) after PS.  I was even debating about getting some rabbits to take for a food source, the kids were not impressed with that idea as we have some as pets! But when you are hungry, you will eat anything!

My husband is in agreeance to obtain his gun licence and gain a weapon (gee that's surprising), and I will go and do a first aid course this coming year.  We also will be looking into a compound bow type of set up for when bullets are no longer.  As for the logistics, that is an issue that is concerning me.  How do we get all of our stuff to where we need to be!!!!  When do we leave, how do we know its time to leave? I guess it all comes down to gut feelings, but who can be sure.

I have also started to print off information off the net for when there is no such thing, making my own survival guide as such.  As for family, my mum would believe me but as for the others - Im not too sure.  I do have a couple of friends who are really spritatul, and they would believe, its just sitting them down and talking to them (long distance as they are over east, so hoping to get them to meet up somewhere to start our own community).

So pretty much, we are in the beginning stages of preparing - I know we don't have much time, I'm just hoping we have more than we need.
