Weird Full Moons

For the last few months I have noticed that 2 days after a full moon it is completely dark at night. Usually after a full moon it gets darker little by little until you cant see the moon, but it normally takes at least 7 days. Whats up?

I also have noticed this, especially after the last full moon, tonight's should be a waning crescent. Clear night here in PA, and no sign of it, been like that since the last full moon.

I`m glad someone else noticed, also 2 weeks prior to the full moon it is very light outside, I live in southwest Colorado

Same here.

Woke up couple of times really wondering why the light of the moon was shining on my pillow????

And I have also been looking for the moon just some days after the full moon because the night was so unusually dark. I believe this all happened in the last 2 months. By that time I didn't even knew about this ning site nor did I ever come across Zetatalk (so you can imagine my last couple of weeks have been pretty hectic, while going through the stages of denial, distress, fear, preparation, and now a feeling of "what has to happen, will happen, I feel prepared and accept whatever fate")

If I would have been familiar with this ning or Zeta, I would have paid more attention to it, but in this case, I was still a "blue one", and even then it made me scratch my head...

Again, last night, I could not spot the moon. I cannot look over country fields for my sight is blocked with houses, so maybe it is "hanging" really low preventing me to see it, but still...

Or can this be explained by any theory?

My daughter texted me 5;30 am yesterday, to tell me that there was a huge star by the moon, which for us in the southern hemisphere, is full and should start waning from tonight.
Unfortunately I didnt get the message til too late, so this morning I got up to have a look ...but its overcast now and raining so I still didnt get to see it.
I have been trying to keep a watch and have noticed things like the full moon last month set way too far south of our house.
