1. Hour After
What will the Aftertime be like, immediately after the pole shift?
Per the Zetas, filled with anger, the natural response to any assault, even if expected.

ZetaTalk: Hour After, written Dec, 2002

http://www.zetatalk.com/xtime/x08.htm

I've thought of an action list for the community I live in.
This would include sending teenagers out to locate section of siding or roof tops to be used for temporary lean-to's, to keep survivors out of the rain.
And collecting bedding thrown about by the hurricane force winds, pulling the mattresses under the lean-to's and hanging the bedding up to dry out of the drizzle and rain that is expected worldwide.
And young children could find crockery, unbroken, wash these so a communal meal might be planned, almost made into a festive affair for these young children.
Refrigerators should be emptied before their contents can spoil, and any farm animals injured during the hour of the shift and needing to be put down could be prepared for a community barbeque.
Of course, those able to work with the injured, do first aid or medical procedures, should be engaged in these activities from the first moments.
Others can be involved in locating the dead and getting them ready for burial.
But burying the dead is not always possible, per the Zetas.

ZetaTalk: Rotting Bodies, written Sep 2, 2003

Regardless of preparation, there will be the shock of adjusting to a different lifestyle.
Few will be unaffected, those used to farming and fishing for a living, or rough outdoor work, or crisis management such as firemen or emergency room technicians, or those not used to the trappings of civilization such as Third World countries will be least affected.
Those most affected will be those living in cities, used to having food and clean water delivered to them, and those expecting social services to continue.
Self sufficiency will be the rule.

ZetaTalk: Self Sufficient, written Apr 15, 1999.

http://www.zetatalk.com/transfor/t78.htm

2. Health
Health will be affected, not only by the lack of medical services, but by migrating germs and lack of nutrition.

ZetaTalk: Human Health, written Dec, 2002

http://www.zetatalk.com/xtime/x01.htm

Medical services will be curtailed, as even if skilled doctors and dentists are in the community, supplies and medicines and electricity will be lacking.
Rather than fighting for life as long as the body is breathing, and even when it cannot breathe on its own, different rules will evolve, by necessity.

ZetaTalk: Social Services, written Dec 15, 1995.

http://www.zetatalk.com/transfor/t34.htm

3. The Planet
While survivors are in shock, following the hour of the shift, the planet itself is returning to normal.
First, rotation restarts, within a day.

ZetaTalk: Rotation Returns, written Aug 15, 1996

http://www.zetatalk.com/poleshft/p69.htm

Because the S Pole of Earth was dragged upward during the passage, pulled along by the N Pole of Planet X, the continents find themselves in a new place vs a vs the poles when rotation restarts.
The crust has turned 90 degrees, and remains there when rotation restarts.
During the shift, land has also risen and fallen, and the sea level follows, accordingly.

ZetaTalk: New Geography, written July 15, 1995

http://www.zetatalk.com/poleshft/p10.htm

Due in part to the melting poles and glaciers, but mostly due to swelling in the floor of the ocean from the friction of the pole shift, where crust was dragged over the core, the oceans of the world will rise approximately 675 feet above the current sea level, over a two year period.

ZetaTalk: Melting Ice Caps, written July 15, 1995

http://www.zetatalk.com/poleshft/p30.htm

The places on the globe that will surely go under the water are low lying lands of Siberia, the Amazon basin, and the Mississippi River basin.
Central America and Indonesia will be ground up into gravel during the pole shift, disappearing.
And new land is expected to pop up between the tip of S America and Africa, the Antarctic plate popping up there.

The future climate will be affected by the magnetic and geographic poles being aligned.
This will ultimately mean colder winters and warmer summers, but not for hundreds of years.
Cold winters will be modulated by the Earth crust retaining heat from the friction of the shift, where the crust was dragged over the core.
And the heat will be modulated by the rising oceans, which will bring the moderating influence of the ocean inland.

ZetaTalk: Sharper Axis, written Feb 1, 2003

http://www.zetatalk.com/xtime/x32.htm

Deserts may or may not remain as today, as the prevailing Westerlies will change direction, bringing moisture laden air from a different direction.

ZetaTalk: Deserts, written Jul 15, 2002

http://www.zetatalk.com/poleshft/p154.htm

4. Governments
Where will the governments be, in the hours after the pole shift?
They would love to be in charge, everything under control, and may try to ensure this with Martial Law.
ZetaTalk has stated that Martial Law, even if imposed in the hours leading up to the pole shift, will not succeed.
Martial Law requires calm heads, soldiers and police anticipating that the rule of law will prevail and their paychecks continuing, and in particular, no panic or opportunistic maneuvers, but rather mindless loyalty in the troops.
But we're talking people here, not robots.

ZetaTalk: Martial Law, written on Dec 15, 2001

http://www.zetatalk.com/govmt/g134.htm

Even in those countries that live today under Martial Law, dictatorships supported by the troops, this is not expected to continue once rotation stops and real panic sets in.

ZetaTalk: Elite Exodus, written June 11, 2003

http://www.zetatalk.com/index/zeta5.htm

Will those in power in the federal government try to continue?
Sure, not because the populace needs them, but because they enjoy being on top of the pile, and want this to continue.

ZetaTalk: Carry-On Government, written on Dec 15, 1997

http://www.zetatalk.com/govmt/g99.htm

The elite, those in power in government and the very wealthy, anticipate at the very least being in their bunkers, well protected by hired mercenaries, if not the military.
But these plans will also not work out.

Even in the well stocked bunkers, all will not be well, as these site are well known and thus are likely to be targeted for looting.

ZetaTalk: Bunker Government, written Feb 23, 2002

http://www.zetatalk.com/govmt/g140.htm

With everyone in panic, and their mercenaries becoming opportunists, there is plenty to go wrong.

ZetaTalk: Ultimate Lot, written Feb 8, 2003

http://www.zetatalk.com/govmt/g187.htm

Thus, in the hours and months after the shift, survivors may encounter the elite, trying to blend in, or remnants of the carry-on governments, trying to bark orders, but both these elements are more likely to have been savaged by opportunitists, self serving elements, striving to establish a new pecking order, and decimating each other during the process.

5. Livability
The change in climate, experienced by almost all locales worldwide, will affect plant and animal growth, and take some time to adjust.
Plants and animals migrate toward the land and climate they are suited for.
After the some 25 years of gloom, sunlight allows stronger plant growth.
But for some time, the vegetation may be struggling, and wildlife migrating.

ZetaTalk: Climate Changes, written July 15, 1995

http://www.zetatalk.com/poleshft/p34.htm

Volcanic dust is a big factor affecting plant growth, as it can snuff out sunlight as well as poison the drinking water.

ZetaTalk: New Climate, written Dec 15, 1995.

http://www.zetatalk.com/poleshft/p58.htm

Being downwind from a volcano is to be avoided, where ash fall is heaviest, disbursing into the atmosphere thereafter.

The Zetas are referring to some animated graphics I developed, low tech but showing the Earth with its new geography after the pole shift, The volcanic dust starting to emerge from known volcanic areas and within days covering the globe with gloom.
However, the direction of the new Westerlies, and the location of land masses and known volcanic regions, and thus the direction of the heaviest ash fall, can be easily gauged.
This is within the Troubled Times pages, in the Info section, under the Pole Shift TOPIC.
This is of course also on the $4.10 CD twinset the Troubled Times nonprofit offers.
See the ZetaTalk home page for links to all of that.

The gloom will make direct sunlight a rare event, but will not be the nuclear winter many may fear.

Where crops will not fare well, or not as expected, those who plan well can make adjustments.

ZetaTalk: Crop Adjustments, written July 15, 1995

http://www.zetatalk.com/poleshft/p28.htm

This setting, hydroponics and fish ponds, lights run from windmills or water wheels, will be a setup few can plan for or attain.
Windmills from old car parts and car batteries and artificial sunlight from carbon arc lamps using pencil leads is possible, however.
But for most, the groceries must be collected from what is at hand.
In this regard, better to have chickens eating the bugs, so you can eat the meat and eggs, than for you to be eating the bugs.
Many weeds are sky high in vitamins, including Vitamin C.

Given a setting where one is eating what they can find, just how should the diet be adjusted for the best nutrition?
Eating raw, where possible, for one.

ZetaTalk: Best Nutrition, written Dec, 2002

http://www.zetatalk.com/xtime/x04.htm

Gardens can be grown, and well tended, will succeed. In this the target climate should be planned for, seeds for crops that will do well in the anticipated climate laid in store.

ZetaTalk: Restart Gardens, written Nov 2, 2002

http://www.zetatalk.com/poleshft/p168.htm

Hope should not be put aside, as eventually, a return to normalcy occurs.
Survivors adjust to their new conditions, sunlight returns, crops and gardens begin to produce abundantly.
But this may take some time.
