Just remembered what I heard from a Finnish soldier veteran, who was in Finnish war's during 1939-1940, 1941-1944 and 1944-1945. They used pine tree rosin to heal skin problem's. Example if they got a stick under the skin and didn't get it off immediatly or haven't just time to do that (in the middle of the war) and as many times it also got infected during the day the spent in forest's. In the evening before they went to sleep they greased the wounded area with pine tree rosin and wrapped a cloth around it. At the morning when they woke up they took off the cloth, the stick and all the infection came out when they removed this bandage. Also different part's of pine tree have many different way's to use to heal yourself, just google this to find out more. Also with Pinus mugo (don't know the english word for this) have same feature's as pine tree. And as I posted this in the wrong place earlier (sorry about that) thank you waxman for your earlier answer to make a cup of tea of pine tree...

Just an example. Pine tree needles contain's 6xmore vitamin C than orange.
