Humans keep pets for multiple reasons, but primarily as substitutes for human contact. Pets are more predictable, more easily controlled, and beyond any natural bond of affection that develops between pet owner and pet, they can be trained to react in what can be interpreted to be a warm and friendly response. They invariably prove to be good listeners. Humans have kept pets for as long as they have been able to sustain an imaginative thought, as pet owners are certainly imaginative in what they ascribe to their pets. It has been said that pet owners take on the appearance of their pets as time passes. In fact, the opposite is the case - the pet owner chooses the pet as its persona matches the would be pet owner. Humans identify with their pets, so as to have a companion that they presume will relate to them. Ah, there's another me, they say, someone who will understand. Along those lines:
Dog owners desire more assertive activity in their life, want to be able to assert themselves in human society more than they do, and vicariously enjoy it when their pets snatch food off the table, pee where and upon whatever they wish, and openly defy orders from strangers with a dumb look on their face. Owners of aggressive attack dogs are making the statement - don't mess with me. Owners of pampered poodles or tiny Chihuahuas are making the statement - I wish to be taken care of and can't be expected to go out into the rough and tumble world.
Cat owners are essentially aloof and tightly control their lives. They may be outgoing in appearance, but close examination reveals that they do so as a well-orchestrated act. In fact, they distrust life and what it presents, and don't want other humans to presume that they can simply march into the cat owner's life. Owners of single cats are less secure in human society than owners of cat herds, as although they maintain tight control over their private world, they want some other warm blooded creature to be forced to share this with them, the cat owner being the only social interaction available to the cat. Owners of cat herds have ambitions to manage other humans but are practicing with their cats.
Keeping a horse for recreation indicates a desire to be in charge, and in a big way. Women frequently outnumber men in this outlet, and for good reason. In most of human society, women are not allowed to manage, to startup and run companies, or to direct, regardless of their qualifications. At least on horseback they can soar over obstacles and fly across great distances, all the while acting as a director of these accomplishments. They are in charge, of something big and powerful, and the world is their audience.
Owners of passive pets or those pets that don't interact with humans, such as fish or lizards or snakes or insects, are escaping into a world where there is relative peace and quiet, vicariously, through their pets. At the end of a hectic day, fighting with traffic and unreasonable customers and a demanding boss, they can come home and put themselves, at least mentally, into the placid world of the fish tank, or bask in the sunlamp with the pet lizard, or sleep endlessly in one place without a care in the world with their pet snake. WikiLeaks itself wasn't endorsing ZetaTalk. Rather, WikiLeaks published an email from someone else that discussed and recommended ZetaTalk.
What ZetaTalk said about Julian Assange
The ZetaTalk Comment dated October 15, 2016, reproduced in Issue 525, interpreted the selection of email 447 as deliberate rather than accidental. It asked why a ZetaTalk-related message would appear among the initial Podesta emails selected for release. [zetatalk.com]

September 18, 2026, there is a new development involving historical UFO/UAP material from 1952.- Fox News: White House releases new UFO files from 1952 reports that newly released/declassified material includes video footage showing unexplained objects described as “swarming” over Utah in 1952. - The report also discusses a 2008 expense report concerning a $22 million government investigation into unexplained aerial phenomena in the Middle East.
- This should not automatically be conflated with the famous July 1952 Washington, D.C. UFO incidents. A separate 2026 disclosure effort concerns a recording connected with those Washington sightings.
On September 18, 2026, the U.S. government posted Release 06, the sixth tranche of records in the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE). The government's page says the program is intended to identify, review, declassify, and publicly release historical UAP records. It also explicitly describes the material in this archive as unresolved cases, meaning the government has not made a definitive determination about the phenomena represented in them.
Among today's records is DOW-UAP-PR159, Historical Film of Reported UFOs, Utah, 1952, accompanied by DOW-UAP-D102, Project Blue Book File on Tremonton Film, Utah, 1952.
The film itself
The government's description is unusually specific.
The footage was shot near Tremonton, Utah, on July 2, 1952, on 16mm Kodachrome film using a handheld Bell & Howell Auto Master camera. The cameraman was U.S. Navy Chief Warrant Officer Delbert C. Newhouse. According to the official description, he reported seeing and filming a group of bright airborne objects and subsequently submitted his film to the U.S. Air Force.
The case eventually became part of Project Blue Book, the U.S. Air Force UFO investigation that operated from 1952 to 1969.
Most importantly, the government's current description says:
The film's limited detail and lack of fixed reference points prevented a conclusive resolution.
So the government is not identifying the objects as extraterrestrial spacecraft, but it is preserving this particular case in its current archive of unresolved UAP material.
A strange detail in the newly digitized film
There's another interesting wrinkle.
At roughly 55 seconds, the released film suddenly changes to unrelated imagery apparently showing sewing equipment. The official description says this suggests that the surviving film could be a composite or reused print, but that the existing record does not establish when or how the two pieces of film were combined.
The accompanying historical records also indicate that the original material had been paired with mountain scenery from Idaho, which isn't preserved in this digitization.
That distinction matters if we analyze individual frames because the digital file is evidently not simply an untouched continuous camera roll.
It's broader than the Utah film
Today's government release isn't limited to Tremonton.
The official Release 06 list also includes:
- DOW-UAP-PR160, Presentation by Captain Edward J. Ruppelt, 1952, an audio recording associated with Boston on March 26, 1952.
- DOW-UAP-D154, Transcript of a Presentation by Captain Edward J. Ruppelt, 1952.
- Two historical documents associated with the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program (AAWSAP) from 2008.
- Two unresolved UAP video reports from Colorado in October 2023.
