Imagine Planet X is clearly visible in the sky and the Severe Wobble has commenced. The Pole Shift countdown has begun, but how are you monitoring the passage of time?

Right now, it's a simple matter knowing what day it is and planning your schedule accordingly.  But when Earth is violently heaving from side to side during the Severe Wobble, a day will no longer be just another day.

In order to anticipate and plan for each of the Last Weeks events, I believe it will be necessary to begin recording time in at least 24-hour increments - beginning with the Severe Wobble. Although it may not be entirely obvious to everyone exactly when the Severe Wobble begins, anytime during this 9-day period will be a good time to establish a ritual of recording increments of time.  It will be unmistakable when Earth falls into a Static Lean to the Left and everyone will be able to see where they are on the Last Weeks Timeline and will already be in the habit of recording time.

The Zetas advise using "a manual clock or watch, not an atomic clock or watch adjusted by the Navy to disguise rotation slowing."  But what if the unthinkable occurs and you find yourself without a functioning clock during the Last Weeks?  How would you improvise to keep track of the days passed?

I plan on using two manual pocket watches with a couple of LED watches as back-up and will X off the days on laminated copies the Last Weeks Timeline, but I'm curious how the rest of you intend to keep track of the days and any alternative ways to record time should our clocks be rendered inoperative.

Right now, it may seem trivial to keep track of time during the Last Weeks.  But when Earth's slowing rotation makes each day increasingly longer and you're completely unaware the Pole Shift is only 6 days away, you'll wish you had.

Hi Howard, I think that this important.

As time can become a blur, especially when  we are all running on adrenaline, as a result of the chaos around us. Thanks for the thought, I will get some time pieces, as I want to know approximately where I am through the progression/ time line.

Hi SurvivalGirl

The seasons will blend so you will get summer in winter and winter in summer and it will be switching back and forth so December could be hot and July cold

http://www.zetatalk.com/ning/09oc2010.htm

We have made the statement that the Northern Hemisphere, in general, can anticipate cooler than normal weather until the pole shift. This, despite the period of time during the summer of 2010 when the Earth was attempting magnetic opposition by pointing its N Pole too far toward the Sun, and thus the heatwaves in the northern hemisphere and the freezing livestock in the Andes. Still, our prediction is in general for colder weather in the Northern Hemisphere. Since July, when the Serpentine wobble became a rattled wobble, predicting just what element will be affecting the globe in any given day could change rapidly, day to day. There is no accurate way for even ourselves to predict a long range forecast, and we decline to be a daily weather forcaster for mankind, who must in any case anticipate our broad prediction - that the seasons will blend into one another prior to the pole shift.

The wobble may swing in such a way that one part of the globe is unseasonably warm while another is unseasonably cool on the same day. Then this may switch about. The wobble
does that. It pushes this away while pulling that forward. It tilts horizontally, toasting this quarter of the globe facing the Sun more than another. The wobble has become unpredictable on a day to day basis, for mankind. If in opposition, the situation that occurred this past summer might return. If the globe tries to align in an end to end manner with Planet X, the Northern Hemisphere will freeze for a time. And such situations may last a day or last for weeks. And through all of this, the wobble is affecting ocean currents. They will surge, running up a coastline further than expected, or swirl and turn upon themselves, delimiting their effect. This likewise is unpredictable, long term, and we again decline to be a day-to-day weather forecaster. If the currents are affected by the wobble, then the coastlines they protect from heat or cold will likewise be affected.

I just pray the shift does not occur in December.... its so cold... and snowy..... my body doesn't tolerate the cold well.  The more the precursor events appear, the more anxious we all become.  Emotionally, I pray often.... for full disclosure so all can have the opportunity to prepare.  My heart breaks for those who will be caught unaware.
Friend Howard.... later Pole Shift, the Earth has rotation more slow or fast

Friend Gaston -

"within a day of the passage, the Earth begins to rotate again, and within a day or two has returned to her normal pace or rotation. Nevertheless, during an adjustment period that may last several months or even years, rotation may be a bit erratic. One should not set the clock on a 24 hour day, at least not at first."  ZetaTalk

Thanks for all your information Howard.

I can think of at least one import reason one would need  to  keep track of time, as asked by northerner?

Being that after the pole shift one will most likely be walking to do travel, and

unless one knew the area of where they might be at when "Sun Set" happens,

it might be very difficult, if not out right dangerous to be walking over stuff and in the dark to find your way back.

Thus, if venture out far from your basic safe site one MUST know when to start heading back in order to still have enough light to get back to your site, not knowing if you will have enough light from the moon and stars to go with.

Or at some time in the late afternoon or early eve, per watching the time, know you need to start looking for your camp site for the night if not going back to your site to avoid danger of not seeing what is in your path, and ahead.
Also one in picking a camp site, should know check the  immediate land conditions around their camp site in order to avoid danger when night falls, if go out walking, particularly if camp site not high above the path of water run off, or if near a cliff or other dangers; and to your direction(s) to run if have to in the night to avoid dangers.

thanks Howard.. We, in Venezuela, will be changing geographic position, we'll be  near of  a pole.. I don't remember, south or north, but it is not relevant,  the cold and obscurity is equal in both places.. and we don't  know to  inspect the environment phenomenology..... we will have a hard problem, maybe we need emigrate.. where?.. the time and circunstances  will determine the next steps.. good luck all

Hi Howard & Everyone

I like this subject that you brought up. I've been reading the Zetas for several years now and one of my worries long time ago was exactly how to keep track of time before and after the PS. I came with several conclusions that could be of help. Obviously has to be some type of watch that does not use batteries. Those old fashioned watches or even wall clocks that need winding-up manually is an option. I purchased an automatic Seiko, never needs batteries, look in Craig's list or in 'ebay', they are not too expensive, I think well worth the expense. Ideally, but more costly a "Seiko knetic" wrist watch, these do not need batteries either as they produce they own electric current with the wrist movement, very much like the automatic watches. Also an echo-drive watch, Citizen make these, they work with any small amount of light, no batteries either. I suggested when the time comes one starts marking the days on a planner according to your watch, ignoring anything else.

My watch works with wrist movement and has no battery.  It was given to me last year.  I only found out it didn't need a battery when I went to get a new wrist band and battery at the jeweller. It is a Rolex brand but I don't think it is a genuine one.  Maybe people could find watches like this in the second hand shops.  Well worth having a scout around I feel and trying to find one.

I don't normally wear watches but I have an automatic watch which means it winds itself when I move my wrist so no batteries so I will put that on and use it. After poleshift I will put a pole in a sandy area and mark the hours in the sand or use rocks to know the time of day. Living as close to the land and having a farm, migrating birds, flowering plants and falling leaves will clue me in as close as I neeed to be. Maybe we should agree on a new start to the calendar. Instead of 2012 + 1 etc, we could have 1 NE for new era or NB for new beginning or APX for after PX as that will be the last one. For example, yes I remember it was 2011 or 1BPX when I planted that tree, and now it is 12APX so the tree is 13 years old......  Now with everything being digital they don't print calendars a hundred years into the future  like they used to. Maybe the survivors will celebrate the annual date of pole shift because they survived it, time for a nice dinner party like thanksgiving in the USA. Of course sundials and moon risings may not work or be visible for years. Don't forget plenty of rain gear everyone. Rubber boots don't last many years....what to do what to do?

Nice cheap $50 automatic self winding when worn watches from STUHRLING watches look them up on the internet. Nice gift for loved ones. I think they are frequently on the shop NBC channel if you have cable or satellite.

Howard, my daughter asked me this question:

Will all clocks, including digital clocks which are part of a household appliance e.g. oven, computer, etc. and those which are battery operated with quartz movements (e.g. wall or mantle clocks or wrist watches) have operational problems during the last weeks?
