Just putting this here as reference.
Alberto captured what looks like a moon swirl above the sun, in the picture to the left. But when you edit the color curves on gimp, you see that there is a 2nd moon swirl to the left of the sun (& perhaps another @ 6 o'clock).
So if you photograph a bright picture of the sun with a lot of glare & you're thinking that you can't capture anything :(..., try to edit the color curves on gimp or Photoshop.
There might be proof of moon swirls hidden in the picture..

Today requires barely gamma correction.

Sometimes I turn only little bit at the colors green or blue, and often I take 2x auto correction and something less gamma (IrfanView) - preferably in order to receive the clearest result of the bad resolution - but never I turn at the color red.

Sweden. Sun in lake. What is the blue dot? And the small orbs to the left - tail?
