Altering Earthquakes:
As of late, I have observed that USGS and EMSC are a bit lax on their reports of earthquakes. Sometimes not seeing anything reported for hours from the last update, or seeing periods of 90-200 minutes with no earthquakes in between. My question is, are they leaving swarms of earthquakes out of their reports, or there are actually periods of no earthquakes?
SOZT: Greater than 90% of the earthquake activity is being altered by the USGS at present, which is under orders to prevent any clue being given to the public about the Earth changes caused by the presence of Planet X. Over a decade ago, the approach was to de-sensitize the live seismographs periodically, so the displays do not turn black worldwide, and to ignore the twice-a-day patterns showing up on these seismographs. Then any quakes that could be dropped were dropped. This was obvious to some who were watching the database manipulation. Quakes in the list would suddenly disappear. This was particularly the case where a quake happened in a remote location, or out in the ocean. Dumbing down the magnitude quickly followed, but in order to ensure the public did not notice, the USGS took control of all websites reporting quake statistics. At times, this control breaks, and discrepancies are reported to the public. Some countries rebel. Quake swarms are another source of control, as they pepper the databases with many quakes and skew the statistics, and thus are pulled from the database. Else the question is raised, why so many? EOZT
Will the USGS internet system be a reliable warning system for the European tsunami by registering on the net the New Madrid earthquake on the exact time it occurs?
SOZT: It will not be a lack of information from the USGS that will be the point of confusion during the earthquakes leading up to the New Madrid adjustment, it will be knowing which quake is the big one vs the many minor quakes preceding it. The USGS downgrades almost all earthquakes, to prevent meaningful statistics from being generated from their databases. They also exclude quakes whenever they can, but this is unlikely to happen in the New Madrid area as it is in the center of a populated land mass. Thus you will have magnitude 6 quakes that will be called a 5.2, magnitude 7 quakes called a 6.1, and when a magnitude 8 or greater quake occurs, it will be called a 6.9.
We would advise that rather than watching the USGS quake statistics, that you watch the Earth changes. The adjustment that will incite the European tsunami will involve bridges on the Mississippi breaking, and being impassable. The land to the west of the Mississippi will drop so that the Mississippi will become 50 miles wide in the state of Mississippi. Watch for this. The New Madrid adjustment will be several large quakes of magnitude 8-9, though will be listed as a lesser magnitude. As the N American continent continues to unzip up to and along the Seaway, the quakes will be less than a magnitude 8 but very destructive to Cleveland and Toledo and Buffalo and the inland locks along the Seaway. Thus it is not what the USGS says that should be watched, but the condition of the bridges on the Mississippi, the impact on the cities along the Seaway, and whether the inland locks are reported as inoperable. EOZT
Please collect earthquake-reports here. Significant Quakes or Magnitude 7+ can be posted separately.

An earthquake measuring 6.0 magnitude on the Richter scale has rocked parts of northwest Pakistan on Sunday, according to media reports, but no damage or casualties were reported yet.
The earthquake was reportedly felt in the country's northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the tribal region bordering Afghanistan at about 04:48 p.m. local time.
The reports indicated the earthquake was felt in northwestern provincial capital of Peshawar, Swat, Malakand, Chitral, Swat and Lower Dir and areas bordering Afghanistan.
The epicenter of the earthquake was determined at a focal depth of 200 km in the mount Hindu Kush, a mountainous region along Pakistan-Afghanistan border located at about 214 km northwest of Islamabad.

STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - A large earthquake hit Iceland's Bardarbunga volcano system early on Saturday, but there was no sign of a fresh eruption, the country's Meteorological Office said.
Authorities have been on alert since a surge of small quakes there this month triggered memories of the 2010 eruption of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano, which spewed out ash and shut down much of Europe's airspace.
A magnitude 5.4 quake was recorded under Bardarbunga's main volcano at 0703 GMT, said Icelandic Met Office seismologist Martin Hensch.
It came a day after a small eruption in a fissure in a glacier about 40km (25 miles) from the main crater in Iceland's largest volcano system.
The Met office initially raised its aviation warning to red, its highest level, on Friday, then reduced it to orange and removed all airspace restrictions after the eruption stopped.
Hensch said there were currently no signs of magma heading back to the surface, though it was impossible to predict how the situation would develop.
"There are so many parameters in this system," he said. "We cannot make a forecast for the next hours or the next few days. So we have to continue to monitor and react to events when they happen."

Major quake in southwestern Peru
A major 7.0-magnitude earthquake rocked Peru Sunday, US experts said.
The quake hit at 2321 GMT 42 kilometers (26 miles) east-northeast of Tambo at a depth of 58.9 kilometers, the US Geological Survey said.
Located 471 kilometers southeast of the capital Lima, it hit at 23:21 GMT. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center cautioned that earthquakes of this size "sometimes generate local tsunamis that can be destructive along coasts located within 100 kilometers of the earthquake epicenter."

Gov. Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency after a 6.0-magnitude quake jolted the Bay Area early Sunday morning, igniting fires, damaging buildings, injuring dozens, knocking out power to tens of thousands and sending residents running out of their homes in the darkness..
The quake struck near southwest of Napa at 3:20 a.m. causing houses to shake in the center of San Francisco and knocking out power to more than 50,000 houses, according to the U.S. Geological Services. The USGS briefly upgraded the magnitude to 6.1 before downgrading it. The earthquake is the largest earthquake to shake the Bay Area since the 6.9 magnitude Loma Prieta quake in 1989, the USGS said.
"There's collapses, fires," said Napa Fire Capt. Doug Bridewell, standing in front of large pieces of masonry that broke loose from a turn of the century office building where a fire had just been extinguished. "That's the worst shaking I've ever been in."
Dazed residents too fearful of aftershocks to go back to bed wandered at dawn through Napa's historic downtown, where the quake had shorn a 10-foot chunk of bricks and concrete from the corner of an old county courthouse. Bolder-sized pieces of rubble littered the lawn and street in front of the building and the hole left behind allowed a view of the offices inside.
Napa Fire Department Operations Chief John Callahan said that the city has exhausted its own resources extinguishing six fires, transporting injured residents, searching homes for anyone who might be trapped and answering calls about gas leaks, water main breaks and downed power lines.
Two of the fires happened at mobile home parks, including one where four homes were destroyed and two others damaged, Callanan said.
There were at least 50 aftershocks, including four that were larger than 2.0 magnitude in Napa, ranging in size from 2.5 to 3.6 magnitude, according to the Geological Survey. USGS said between 30 and 70 small aftershocks could hit the area during the next week.

Dozens injured, 3 critically, after strong earthquake in California
(CNN) -- A 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck Northern California early Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
It was the strongest earthquake to hit the Bay Area since 1989, when a quake struck during the World Series.
Sunday's earthquake struck 4 miles northwest of American Canyon, 6 miles southwest of Napa, and 9 miles southeast of Sonoma, according to the USGS.
The USGS estimated, based on their locations, that 15,000 people experienced severe shaking, 106,000 people felt very strong shaking, 176,000 felt strong shaking, and 738,000 felt moderate shaking.
"I've got a lot of broken wine, being here in Napa," said Emily Massimi, who was woken up by the quake. "We tend to collect wine, so I have wine all over my kitchen, and glass, and pictures off the wall and books off of bookshelves," she told CNN.
At Silver Oak Winery, owner David Silver spent the morning cleaning up hundreds of broken wine bottles that fell off the shelves.
"Those bottles were very unique," he said. They were part of his private collection and worth hundreds of dollars. "It's a tragedy, but it's nothing we can't overcome." Silver said he plans to open the winery today.
