"We warned at the start of ZetaTalk, in 1995, that unpredictable weather extremes, switching about from drought to deluge, would occur and increase on a lineal basis up until the pole shift. Where this occurred steadily, it has only recently become undeniable. ZetaTalk, and only ZetaTalk, warned of these weather changes, at that early date. Our early warnings spoke to the issue of global heating from the core outward, hardly Global Warming, a surface or atmospheric issue, but caused by consternation in the core. Affected by the approach of Planet X, which was by then starting to zoom rapidly toward the inner solar system for its periodic passage, the core was churning, melting the permafrost and glaciers and riling up volcanoes. When the passage did not occur as expected in 2003 because Planet X had stalled in the inner solar system, we explained the increasing weather irregularities in the context of the global wobble that had ensued - weather wobbles where the Earth is suddenly forced under air masses, churning them. This evolved by 2005 into a looping jet stream, loops breaking away and turning like a tornado to affect the air masses underneath. Meanwhile, on Planet Earth, droughts had become more intractable and deluges positively frightening, temperature swings bringing snow in summer in the tropics and searing heat in Arctic regions, with the violence of storms increasing in number and ferocity."

ZetaTalk: Arabia
The great kingdom of Saudi Arabia, consisting of great oil reserves and mountains of sand, will find their life radically changed after the coming pole shift. Where the land mass they share with Africa is light and therefore floats high above sea level and will continue to remain above sea level after the existing poles have melted, the most dramatic changes will be related to climate. Used to and equatorial climate, barely out of the summer heat before another summer returns, they will find this reversed. They will for the main part of the year be frozen, as in northern Canada, with only a brief summer. This will in essence doom residents of Saudi Arabia, who will freeze to death rather than die during the shift, as many live in tents or casual housing which will not crush them during the earthquake that will rack the entire world during the hour of the shift. Those residents living in stone or mortar housing will be subject to being crushed, and those standing on the coastlines to being swept out to sea during flood tides that recede, dragging all caught within it out to sea, but residents inland in casual housing such as tents will in the main survive.
The oil reserves, considered the life blood of the Saudi people, will not come to their rescue as all pumps and refineries will be broken and explode into flames. What can be salvaged eventually will be used by the strong, those with power and control of food supplies to demand cooperation, to stay warm. This is a finite situation, going downhill, leading to a king of the hill scenario which only leads to violent death for all involved. Our advice to Saudi residents wanting to survive is to move into Africa, before the shift else they will have a long boat trip across gulf that will open as Saudi land separates further from Africa. Africa will string out along the new Equator, and much of the desert will remain in the Aftertime, thus providing a similar ecosystem for residents of Saudi Arabia, a familiar setting with which to setup housekeeping.

ZetaTalk: Indonesia fares poorly during the coming pole shift, but most of the residents will already be dealing with disasters by the time the shift arrives. As low-lying land, in the main, the steadily softening polar ice will create inundation that the country is poorly prepared to deal with. Now and then a hurricane ravages a coastline and dumps rain inland; now and then a volcano goes into an active burping stage; but overall, most of Indonesia during these times - functions. With low-lying land consistently flooded throughout Indonesia, there will be an impact on the industries in the country, and migrations of displaced citizens to the cities remaining above water. Indonesia is run by the wealthy elite, who rape the poor and the land without government oversight. With industries shut down, the wealthy will attempt to escape to Australia or any other country that will have them. They will be running from what they will view to be a sinking ship, leaving the poor behind them with scarcely a backward glance. The government will become even less responsive to the poor, who will be allowed to crowd into the cities but be kept in camps where disease will run rampant and starvation be the norm.
Increasing activity in the many volcanoes that dot the region will only increase these migrations to the death camps. Thus, by the time the shift hits, most citizens of Indonesia will already be in a desperate life-and-death struggle. Those living on high ground away from volcanoes will be washed over by the large floodtides that will move from the Pacific to the Indian Ocean, and back again, during the shortening of the Pacific and subducting of the Indio-Australian plate under the Himalayas. Survival will occur for a small percentage, but only because the islands are many and cover a vast area. Survival will be by accident, in these cases, not by design.

On December 14, 2025, catastrophic flooding hit three states in the Pacific Northwest — Washington, Oregon, and parts of southwestern British Columbia (Canada) — driven by one of the strongest atmospheric rivers in recent history.
Key Facts
Date: December 8–14, 2025 (peak on Dec 14)
States impacted: Washington, Oregon, and parts of northern California (with spillover into British Columbia, Canada)
Cause: A powerful atmospheric river carrying moisture from as far as the Philippines, dumping up to 10 inches (25 cm) of rain in the Cascades and 5 trillion gallons of water across the region in one week.
Damage:
Washington: Severe flooding along the Skagit and Snohomish Rivers, levee overtopping, landslides blocking Interstate 90 and other roads.
Oregon: Heavy rainfall caused river flooding and urban inundation in Portland suburbs.
California (northern): Flood warnings issued, though impacts were less severe compared to WA/OR.
Evacuations: Tens of thousands ordered to leave flood-prone areas in Washington.
Fatalities: As of mid-December, no confirmed deaths but widespread property damage and displacement.
On December 14, 2025, Safi, Morocco was struck by sudden flash floods caused by torrential rains, leaving between 7 and 21 people dead and dozens injured.
The event unfolded rapidly: within about an hour of heavy rainfall, streets, homes, and shops in Safi were inundated. Cars were swept away, roads were cut off, and emergency services struggled to respond. The flood came after years of drought in Morocco, which had left reservoirs depleted, making the sudden deluge even more destructive.

Paramedics in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah after finding a man lifeless there, with signs of hypothermia, during winter Storm Byron on December 12, 2025
A man was found dead Friday morning in East Jerusalem’s Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood with signs of severe hypothermia, as meteorological services predicted the torrential rains that Storm Byron has swept over Israel would let up by noon.
The death, at least the second from the winter storm that has brought fierce rains to Israel over the latter half of the week, was reported as search and rescue efforts took place across the country, with more than 100 people brought to safety in the south. In Gaza, 11 Palestinians were reported dead over the course of the storm as tent cities flooded
Rain was expected to continue Friday morning, particularly in the central and northern Negev region. Thunderstorms were still possible until around noon, and the risk of local flooding remained, particularly along the southern coastal plain, Judean Desert and Dead Sea areas.

For the second time in two years, one of the driest places on Earth has a lake following the wettest November since record-keeping began in 1911.

California's Death Valley National Park just experienced its wettest November on record, resulting in a rare phenomenon that is not often associated with one of the driest places on Earth. The lowest areas of the park have turned into a shallow lake, the second time in two years that heavy rain has transformed the desert landscape.
Death Valley logged its wettest fall on record with 2.41 inches of rain, more than the 2.20 inches that typically fall in the park throughout the entire year. Most of the rain, 1.76 inches, fell in an eight-day span in mid-November. Weather records date back to 1911.
"At Badwater Basin, which lies 282 feet below sea level and is the lowest point in North America, rainwater has formed a shallow lake," the National Park Service (NPS) said in a news release.
The lake, known as Lake Manly, is much smaller and shallower than the one that formed after Hurricane Hilary doused the region in 2023. The lake only appears after times of extreme rainfall.
"In most places [the water] would not rise above the tops of your shoes," the NPS said.

Kayakers and paddleboarders were able to enjoy Death Valley in a way that few people had ever done in early 2024. Hurricane Hilary set the stage for the return of Lake Manly after unleashing a year’s worth of rain on Aug. 20, 2023. This was followed up by a wet winter, including multiple days of heavy rain in Feb. 2024.
Although the lake is not nearly deep enough for kayakers currently, additional rain this winter could help Lake Manly expand. As of mid-December, the lake resembles more of a large puddle, better suited for photographers to capture unique reflections across the shimmering landscape.
Heavy rain in a place known for extremes naturally leads to another question: Could this be the setup for a spring wildflower show?
"While rainfall is a key ingredient for an above-average bloom, it is only one of several factors needed for a significant wildflower display," the NPS said. "It is too early to predict whether conditions will lead to a spring 'superbloom' like the one seen in 2016."

(AP Photo/Jae C. Hong)
Big picture: The recent storms have improved the odds of a good wildflower season, but they haven’t guaranteed anything yet. Visitors hoping for carpets of color will have to wait until late winter and early spring to see how conditions evolve.
In the meantime, the same storms that revived Lake Manly have also left their mark on the park’s infrastructure. Flooding and debris have forced numerous road closures, and some paved roads remain impassable. Many of the park’s best-known viewpoints and landmarks — including Zabriskie Point, Dante’s View, Badwater Basin and Mesquite Sand Dunes — are still open, but unpaved roads may be damaged or washed out.
Anyone planning a trip is urged to check current conditions, be cautious on back roads and be prepared to self-rescue if they venture into more remote areas.
