As has happened in the past, a UFO display showed up at an event where many private video cameras were recording the event. This was the case during the 1991 Eclipse in Mexico. Undeniable because it had been recorded by the public, on so many private cams, that the display could not be dismissed as a case of doctoring the film. The 2012 Olympics opening was another such event, recorded LIVE and delivered to audiences around the world. By the time the authorities realized what was happening, it was too late. YouTube videos of the event have already gone viral, and official news channels had no choice but to admit it, and even discuss it – Skynews leading the way.

UFO Spotted Near Swiss Fireworks Show (Video)

Apparently, UFO pilots love a good fireworks show. For the second time in a week, an unidentified flying object was spotted hovering near a pyrotechnics display, this time celebrating the birth of Switzerland.

The most famous sighting in the past week was spotted near the Olympics opening ceremonies as the rockets flew over the crowd. This time, a Swiss couple, out to celebrate a national holiday, caught this object floating in the air as the crowd enjoyed the display.

The excited couple, chattering in their native tongue, seem to be more interested in watching this brightly lit object, which does not display normal aircraft running lights, than they do the fireworks show. The UFO is fairly far away, so even zooming in doesn't reveal much detail.

But the picture above does show unusual illumination, looking more like LED or neon, than aircraft navigational lights.

The object looks spherical and, at one point, seems to be evading a clearly identifiable airplane passing by.

and the Daily Mail, usually quicker off the mark when publishing fringe articles about UFOs, finally decides to publish a report 3 days after the fact, finishing third behind the Huffington Post and the Examiner and is awarded the bronze medal. :-)

I would just like to add a comment regarding Nick Pope, the 'Ufologist' who supposedly made the prediction regarding the likelihood of seeing a UFO at the games and who one poster at least thinks is a good guy - this man is a 100% bone fide government mouthpiece when it comes to the subject of UFOs and is in no-way interested in getting the truth out there, and his comments should be treated accordingly, ie. completely ignored.

The Daily Mail article is quoting comments that Pope made because he was asked to by the developers of Resistance: Burning Skies on PlayStation Vita to speculate on how a real alien invasion might occur, to mark the games' launch, and for no other reason.

Apart from interviews I've seen with him and comments of his I've read before which show his clear bias against any disclosure, the clue is in his background - 20 years for the Ministry of Defence - and the fact that he is pushed into the mainstream media when no other ufologist is, shows his message is a government approved one.

Also, when you read the Daily Mail article, you can see his emphasis is on an invasion not UFO sightings - due to the fact he is commenting on a game about an alien invasion - but his opinion is clear on the subject:

Aliens bad, Government good!  We should unite against any invasion otherwise you're the same as a Nazi sympathiser!

But if this a UFO then where is GoodYear blimp?

And why there are panoramic videos from the angle of this UFO?

for comparison, here is a video of the goodyear blimp at night:

 

we can clearly see the goodyear logo on the hull which is different from the skynews shot. the movement is also different. the UFO in the skynews shot does not behave like the goodyear blimp.
